It struck me about the nature of Evil and how so many simply refuse to acknowledge its primal existence.

BZBloviating Zeppelinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01359816456769157176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7370534.post-1145458146025329382006-04-19T07:49:00.000-07:002006-04-19T07:49:00.000-07:00Not going armed does not mean one is a sheep... as...Not going armed does not mean one is a sheep... as I have told those I love, if violence threatens, let me confront it whilst you run... even with all my incapacities the bulk and stature of my body is not to be sneered at and I also, apparently, have a personal presence of sorts...

Being able to do *measured* violence is something else again, and I honor those that can do that thing.

So my body serves so others may be defended. And I do not stop against any threat against me, be it gun or knife or fists... I may look askance at a vehicle or such, but a body tends to be more nimble than those.

A threat against me or those I love will needs be carried out to its fullest. And that is why I did not try to tame that streak within me... in the end it would just give me capacity to do more harm than good, so it remains as-is.

Yes, Jacksonian.A Jacksonianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07607888697879327120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7370534.post-1145454019005896492006-04-19T06:40:00.000-07:002006-04-19T06:40:00.000-07:00Wow, what a post! Of course, it all happened in California.. A guy tried to steal my car. I caught him in the act, then proceeded to pull his hair through the window and hit his head against the steering wheel. The manager came out and had called the police. They guy quit trying, got out of the car and ran. By that time the cops caught him.
I chased a guy who stole a ladies purse in Van Nuys, Ca. He stole it while in his truck as she was walking into McDonalds. he drug her along side his truck until her purse strap snapped. I followed him and got his liscense plate number, then went back to the lady to see if she was o.k.
SO, that is my bragging for this day.:-)
I would say, when the rubber hits the road I am a sheepdog.
I always think when I am in church how easy it would be for a wolf to come in and start shooting, and have considered packing a pistol, but haven't done it yet..
