If both of you have the weekend off, all the ranches in Apple Hill operate right up to December 24th -- primarily the High Hill Ranch. It's a beautiful time of year, the leaves are turning, the colors are brilliant, and you can't help but be optimistic about our country. I think you and your husband would have a really good time.

BZBloviating Zeppelinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01359816456769157176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7370534.post-1160949320304354482006-10-15T14:55:00.000-07:002006-10-15T14:55:00.000-07:0010 15 06BZ I didn't see this post before! You and your dad look well:) It is good to see him up and at 'em especially since he has gone through some episodes!

What a really neat adventure you all had! I haven't checked out Apple Hill, but you have given me an idea with which to surprise the husband;) Ha! Sounds like all the wine tasting and everything was awesome. Cool!Mahndisa S. Great colors and it just hit a chord within me.

BZBloviating Zeppelinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01359816456769157176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7370534.post-1160851970979806512006-10-14T11:52:00.000-07:002006-10-14T11:52:00.000-07:00It sounds like you had a marvelous time, BZ. Walt and I lived in Sacramento for two years in the sixties.

I went to Robert Foster's website and his work is absolutely marvelous. I only looked at his animal pics and a few of his landscapes, enough to save the link so I can go back and check out all of the work he has placed on the web. "Marvelous" doesn't quite cut it; it's breathtaking. He even does some whimsical "fantasy work" in some of the cat pictures. Thanks for the link!Gaylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02540710405153666843noreply@blogger.com
