Finally, when they force everyone to give up their bank account info (as in obamacare), they will just deduct the speeding violation from you bank automatically.sdkarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09144897729994333372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7370534.post-25828556806932570962012-04-20T09:11:21.817-07:002012-04-20T09:11:21.817-07:00BZ,

If you have not heard of this show, you may be in for a treat. There are two versions, BBC and American. The BBC version is the only one I will watch. If you get the BBC on your cable this, IMHO, is a must see.

Here is an on topic clip from the show. The only way to accurately do this is by technology that can be remoted out of your car to receivers.

WSF: quite true. The reason that vehicles, if you've noticed, don't quite get the mileage they used to even 15 or 20 years ago is WEIGHT. Federal laws mandate extra safety equipment, etc., which costs money and adds weight.

Anyone ever have a early 80s Honda CRX? They would get a consistent 40 mpg and the occasional 50. Other than some electronic advances and fuel injection, none of this cost benefits the consumer. The large portion is for namby government mandated equipment.
