The last time I felt like this was when Bush and Gore, then Bush and Kerry were going at it...
History DOES have a way of repeating itself, and it appears that Americans in general and the goddamned Republicans as a whole haven't learned one damned thing from history...
McCain won't fight against him due to the Republicans' fear of racism. He doesn't have to talk about his skin or how big his ears are or even mention his middle name, but if he talks about Dr. WRight or any of Obama's associations he will be called a racist.
He may be able to touch on their differences on how they would govern but their differences aren't that different. Perhaps they are different on judges and taxes. I mean, McCain can really put up a good conservative front to win if he wants to. (Isn't that sad that I even have to say that?)
Rivka, a lot of us feel that way, I know I did back when Bush was running, and look at the names I have been called by a few here for my stance against Bush, by the people that we now refer to as Bush Bots...
I wonder, will these same people become McCainiacs and support him as he drowns this nation even more??
We ALL know what's going to happen if Obama or Clinton get in, but for crying out loud, we kind of expect better from the Republicans, I guess they went to hell to...
