Conservatives and Republicans: we'd best listen and heed this very important message because, if we want to succeed, much less exist, we must open our eyes and our minds.
I don't agree with everything this guy says, but he has a reasonable, well thought out thesis. Conservatives biggest problem now is that they are percieved to be AGAINST everthing and FOR nothing. Cutting taxes is not the solution to every problem under the Sun. They also seem to feel that the solution to every diplomatic problem is to not even negotiate until the other party completely does everything they want. Do what we say or we'll bomb you. Actually, the Republicans seem to be not so much conservative anymore as downright reactionary. Even you, BZ, consider me, a gunowning, Christian pro life military veteran to be far left. I used to think I was center right, but you all have gone so far right that I'm left. I'm confused! What is the middle anymore? :-D
