Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

In the Gunsights of Islam: Take Aim at BZ

Of the cartoons involved in the recent row about Islam forbidding any depiction of Mohammad, I say to those who (sound of forehead being slapped) are judgmental about other cultures, religions and freedom of the press: BABAGTFOI.

However, in the process of searching for the CIQ (Cartoons In Question) I only encountered one that was actually funny, reproduced here. The rest are pretty pedestrian and/or boring. Big dill.

This one was funny.. I remember when the story first came out.. i was all over the internet and couldn't find any of the pictures.. When i found the one with the bomb on his head.. i thought.. So what.. That is what his followerd are claiming he wants them to do.. why are they ashamed of it??? I do agree that most are boring.. However, most are true.. the bomb on the head picture was totally boring.. Surely they could have come up with something as offensive as the cartoon with rumsfeld and the military personell with his arms and legs cut off..

I tried to find a picture of the painting of the cross in urine to make a point, and couldn't find that one either.. That outraged Christians, and it wasn't even true about Christ, like the Bomb is of Muhammad. YET.. The Christians didn't go kill the artist and bomb anyone. I would imagine a lot of them prayed for the artist.
Interesting dynamics in my opinion..
You are brave for posting this.. Great job!

Wow, Rebecca, everybody's getting linked Left and Right!

Nice job! Way to go!

The picture you were talking about was called Piss Christ. It wasn't Art, it wasn't a breakthrough, it was offensive and, moreover, simple minded. A 3-year-old could have "produced" more "creatively." As a matter of fact, smearing one's feces about a wall would also, in some venues, be called "art" I'd wager.

And yes, excellent point between the two.

And I say continuously: "Ah yes, Islam, the religion of peace and understanding."

Patrick had posted Michelle Malkin's stuff on this. The more I read her blog the more impressed I am with her.

I can't believe what a big deal these cartoons are becoming. Mass rioting. What if we organized mass riots everytime we were maligned? Unbelievable!! Then you see the signs some of these protesters are carrying. Behead those that malign Islam. Do we need any further proof on how scary these people are????

Loved your comments on my recent post.

LMC: thank you most kindly.

Despite that, I'm thinking that perhaps it's time I moved on.

I'm thinking about taking down the blog and just commenting now and then on other people's posts. I've not been taking the hits or comments I thought I would over the months.

But there you go: me thinking I'm something special. Like: NOT.

I think I've got a few more posts in me, the time being.

Naw BZ....don't give up so easy. We are not all destined to make it big in the blogsphere. Some of us have actual jobs!..LOL. I sometimes go 4/5 days without putting up a thing. IMHO, I would rather have my place sit a little stagnant because I couldn't think or find anything of QUALITY to put up. I'm a firm believer of quality over quantity. What you put up is great. I've been to other sites that post 6,7,8 or more times a day, and not 1 piece worthy of being called toilet paper.
Don't give up the fight yet!!

BZ: DON'T Quit!!!!!

We need your voice in the wilderness...It's important to voice your feelings to the blogsphere--- it's your responsibility, almost. Just not a daily one. I agree with justthinkin. Don't give up. We need you!

This one by far, makes sense in it's sick way, however still funny. Tried going over to Michelle's video she has posted, but apparently the server was busy...I could not get in. Rebecca summed it up pretty good for me not to add to it.

I am linking you and hoping that is okay. I appreciate very much you chiming in with your brilliant responses to the moonbats. You are welcome anytime on my blog, and I will be back over here too. (smiling) Have a wonderful Sunday!!
