(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Cindy and Various Threats

First: support Bushwack at his American and Proud Of It! blog by visiting and registering to proclaim your support for our American soldiers and providing Cindy Sheehan with the disdain she deserves.

You'll be proud to know what Cindy now resides in Berkeley, Fornicalia, where the city council has voted to spend $10,000 in taxpayer cash to place a measure on the ballot so the citizens can vote to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Of course, Washington will take heed of this, once passed, and readily comply. Good old, OLD Cindy -- Hugo's new best friend. Hugo, when she visited, was last seen wagging his finger at Cindy Sheehan as he clutched a cigar, heading for an adjacent closet. That Hugo Chavez -- what a prankster; the Life of the Party and always good for a laugh!

More about Cindy's "fast" -- the "fast" consists of no food for one day, then "passing it along." My, now that's some serious commitment! No KFC for Rob Reiner for 24 hours? Whatever shall he do?

MORE THREATS FROM THE LOONS:

Kim Jong Il has decided that since his missiles (one of which was aimed at the Hawaiian Islands) didn't work all that well during Threat Phase One, there must necessarily be Threat Phase Two.

From Reuters:

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea threatened on Friday to take "stronger physical actions" after Japan imposed punitive measures in response to its barrage of missile tests and pushed for broader sanctions at the United Nations.

Japan introduced a draft U.N. Security Council resolution on Friday that would clamp down on missile-related financial and technology transactions with North Korea, but it was unclear whether veto-holding members China and Russia would approve the step.

One reason China semi-supports the 5'2" NKM: "Analysts say Beijing does not want action that could risk bringing down the Pyongyang government and sending refugees swarming across their border." Ah, the open arms, acceptance and liberal immigration policies of nations other than the United States!

Just a few miles away, our good and stable friend, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said yesterday that if Israel continued its violence against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, there would be an "explosion" in the Islamic world targeting Israel and its supporters in the West. Ahmadinejad couldn't resist throwing in a good-humored Israeli poke: "This is a fake regime -- it won't be able to survive. I think the only way (forward) is that those who created it (the West) take it away themselves." Ahmad buddy, we'll get right on that shit. NOT.

On Israel's side, though the Palestinian Hamas-led government called for a cease-fire in its violent two-week standoff with Israel, it didn't offer to release the Israeli soldier held by Hamas militants. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert rejected the proposal by Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh. Olmert will not agree to a truce until Hamas releases the soldier, officials in Olmert's office said.

Stick literally to your guns, Ehud Olmert, right the wrong that Sharon created, and send your military into the Gaza. You will never, ever have peace until you do. Living adjacent your enemy will never, ever, satiate your enemy and history has proven this time and again.

Even if China and Russia did go along with Japan, you know their gonna back door the sanctions anyway, so it's kind of a pointless exercise. Kim buddy needs a spanking to show him he's an infantile child on a head trip. Problem seems to be that there is no way to isolate him with China and Russia being so close and creating an escalation.

ABF: you are correct there. China will "support" him when possible due to their asiatic sphere of influence and political bent; Russia will support him because Russia is in no position to cross China -- being good neighbors and all -- and China heavily outweighing Russia in terms of population.

And just as India eyeballs the continent of Australia directly below ("LEBENSRAUM!"), so does Russia look palatable to China ("MORE LEBENSRAUM!").

Mahndisa: "Ick" is being WAY kind!

And we should support Japan, South Korea and Taiwan going nuclear... since lots of troops make nice targets for nuclear devices.... and to protect themselves from the Mad Mr. Kim.

Yoo-hoo!

China?

Telephone call from reality... Earth to China... Earth to China...

You folks wanted a North Korea so badly... well you can either *fix* them or see the neighborhood get rough in a couple of years. I am sure a nuclear equipped Japan will sit well with *everyone* around there...

No?

But... but... that's racist!

Well, I guess its *not* racist if its someone you don't like... which is, in and of itself, discrimination...

And Taiwan certainly needs a lever to make its point well known...

You raise us a North Korea... We call that bet with Japan and then up it with South Korea and Taiwan... Care for double or nothing?

Because I *trust* those three nations NOT to spread nuclear technology around... unlike Mr. Kim and his happy little Kingdom of Terror.

And if China actually did something they just *might* get their trains back! And maybe we could offer to help feed the poor folks of North Korea until the South has taken them in and the Peninsula is just Korea.

China is playing media ping-pong... but the game is Nation State poker. And for once, if we quit the game, the *winner* will not like the results.

If only we had a *real* president... Truman... Teddy Roosevelt... Jackson... someone who could say 'ok, we tried nice... didn't work... now for the real deal'

Or perhaps we should just leave our friends and allies in the region dangling on the whimsy of Mr. Kim? I would prefer that the US stand up *for* its friends and *by* them so as to *help* them. And any embargo *requires* China as they are the main conduit for supplies going into North Korea. They don't want to take that step as it will likely start something they can't handle... because they left it up to NoKo to *respond*.

Such a nice world where vicious and deranged dictators get a chance to *respond*.

Oh, and we only have a 'cease fire' with North Korea, not a declaration to end hostilities and resume peaceful diplomacy and interaction. That wonderful 19th century bit of diplomatic wording now looks critical to our future. As does the *rest* of diplomacy built up then.

I am well, and truly, fed up with PC nice-talk. 'Jaw, jaw over war, war' as *that* only works if one side isn't holding a loaded pistol to the other. When you do that *then* it is called submission... and surrender... as you are negotiating trying to keep your life. And, quite frankly, that is where we are at and trying to discern 'intentions' of Mr. Kim when the actions he is taking are despicable and disgusting. Those speak far louder than any words, but his words just continue to back up the actions.

But then, I have strange thoughts...

BZ,
Wow, great read. You put it out plain and simple. Things are getting a little scary.

Put this in yur pipe and smoke it: I asked a friend of mine if he thinks any of this stuff going on in the middle east has to do with 'end times' in the book of revelation and Daniel. He thinks we will be successful in Iraq and the reason is because Iraq will soon become a financial leader after we have built it up and leave.

It has to due to prophecy in the end times. Babylon is in Baghdad, and that is what scripture talks about. I can't really remember everything he said. He is not a nut case, but it led to some interesting conversation that is for sure.

I have heard about a guy that has written a few books about all of this before it happened, and he is not a wacko-prophet type. He did it just by observation, and history, and the study of the bible as well. He has been on Rush, and Sean's show and they are amazed about it.
Gotta go, my 2 year old is falling asleep in my arms as I type! i am a VERY fast typer.

Simple. Kim Jong Il = bad guy.
USA = Nation of good guys. Solution: Good guys neutralize bad guy's threat with superior firepower. Let the pussy wimps in the UN gripe about it after it happens.

BWH: they would gripe in any event at all. They would simply gripe. So your solution has merit.
