(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

The Bush Admin Gets It Wrong Again?

Thanks to Rebecca for the "heads-up:"

Go to this site first: Yoni's Blog.

From Rebecca:

If the Bush admin is helping the Palestinians this way it is wrong. Jews will die as a result and who knows if they will use the weapons we give them to topple Hamas? What if they use the stuff we give them to topple the Jews? Democracy in the Middle East spreading is a great idea, but when it comes to who we are dealing with it may end up being a pipe dream. I also agree that it is a "make-believe" mindset to think that there could ever be peace between the Palestinians and the Jews. But, that is my opinion, and evidently it is Yoni's as well.

So, let's examine this on its face.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says Palestinians deserve to live better than they do and be "free of the humiliation of occupation" in a state of their own.

"I promise you my personal commitment to that goal," Rice said at a dinner marking the third anniversary of the American Task Force on Palestine.

"There could be no greater legacy for America," Rice told the group, which describes itself as nonpartisan and supportive of a Palestinian state living side by side with Israel.

"The Palestinian people deserve a better life ... free of the humiliation of occupation," she said.

Rice has made five trips to the region as secretary of state, looking for ways to promote President George W. Bush's advocacy of a two-state solution to the decades-long conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.

Yoni The Blogger said:

This woman is STUPID.

The Palestinians are the Nazi's of today they don't deserve anything more than a harsh war fought with no quarter given to them.

Rice saying this makes as much sense as saying the KKK deserves to be free of the humiliation of occupation of the USA by normal people so that they can be free to spread their filth and hate.

I'm with Yoni on this one. The Palestinians have made their points clearer than crystal: there can be no Jewish State. And certainly there can be no Jewish State even remotely close to their own. That would be a massive mistake.

In my opinion, it would be a Massive Mistake to lend ANY credence to what the Palestinians want.

If their wants and desires were so incredibly important (and let there be NO MISTAKE about my thoughts on this matter), then various Middle Eastern factions would have designated and accounted for a Palestinian State amongst their millions of acres.

If a soulful Palestine was a priority then Muslims in control would have provided their own territories for this necessary accommodation.

But Muslim countries didn't volunteer an INCH of land.

That bespeaks volumes in and of itself.

Yoni is right.

And Condi is wrong. Flat-ass wrong.

Hello B Zeppelin

Chance: I wrote an essay once at my blog website titled President Bush, Hamas, And The Set Up it can be viewed in if one goes to the search bar at my blogsite and type up the name bush or the title of the essay. In that essay I said that President George Bush wanted Hamas to become the political leaders and politicians of Palestinian people, why? Because Bush knows that Hamas will attack Israel with suicide bombers, snipers, and if Hamas gets other countries to give them powerful weapons they will attack Israel with that too. This would give Israel the right to join America in the war in the Middle East against other Muslim countries that might aid hamas with advanced conventional weapons. Then President Bush would have a strong Israeli ally with weapons and soldiers in the Middle East and there would be no need for America to bring back the draft. Because Israel has many soldiers already, and if need be Israel can hit Muslim countries with powerful weapons if asked to do so by President Bush.

Chance: So Condi Rice is just making sure that the plan happens and that is that making sure that Hamas and the Palestinian people become freer from any type of Israeli occupation. So once totally free they will feel free to attack Israel and try to wipe out Israel -- thus giving President Bush the Israeli ally that he needs to fight eventually all Muslims countries in the Middle East.

This is the real plan behind the scene.

Condoleeza Rice was not addressing Mahmoud Abbas when she said that. She was talking to a group that describes itself as "nonpartisan and supportive of a Palestinian state living side by side with Israel." I don't believe that's ever going to happen, but isn't that what everyone wants? Don't all civilians deserve to be "free of the humiliation of occupation?" If this group she was talking to is indeed "nonpartisan", then I see no reason to be calling Condy "stupid."

To say that civilians in Palestine deserve to be "free of the humiliation of occupation" does not mean we are planning on giving them weapons, as your first commentor here implies.

BZ, peace in the region around Israel is like the elusive snipe hunted in swamps with gunny sacks - non-existant. However, it is a desire to try to establish peace in the region via negotiations between Israel and Palestine. Attempting to arbitrate between Israel and Palestine is a noble cause but one not likely to succeed. The radical Muslim mindset will never accept a free Jewish state on land they consider to belong to allah. For the US to abandon any and all efforts to negotiate peace would be considered unacceptable within the eyes of the rest of the world. Regardless of whether or not peace can ever be attained, the process must be exercised... and to act as an arbitrator we must produce rhetoric that is appealing to one or both sides. It is a line I would not wish to walk.

Personally, I believe we should take a stand with Israel and tell all Muslim nations - hands off. We cannot do so becasue of our dependence upon oil from the region. We are presently in a catch 22 type situation, damned if we do and damned if we don't.

I would not condemn Condy for her rhetoric in this circumstance; nor the administration she answers to.

Blo, Thanks for posting this. It is important.
ONe thing I must make clear, however is that one should never take one issue and determine that someone sucks and I don't think Blo was doing that. He was addressing the 'issue' saying he disagrees and that what was said clearly was stupid. Doesn't mean that the 'intentions' aren't good and pure. After all, seeing peace is a GOOD THING, however, what Blo was saying and what Yoni,me and every one who knows the 'history' is saying is that it is stupid to think there will be peace among two parties where one is HELL BENT on the destruction of the other. They are focused and are willing to die for it. It is a biblical issue.
I don't think there are any conspiracies here, but the fact of 'legacy' is on every president's plate.. This one can be done in places like Iraq and maybe Iran if we topple their leader, but even then you have a MULTITUDE of Arabs backing the palestinians and agreeing they should be evacuated from the land either by annhialation or shipping them all over to Europe..

THat is the cold hard facts. Even the leader in Iraq believs this way although I don't think he wants to kill all of them. There are some sane leaders in the Arab world, but they all believe the same thing. WE are not going to change the mindset of these people.

I believe what Bush wants to do is noble, but out of that nobility could come the death of a lot of Jews.. And we will find these people are pretty stubborn.
I think it is wrong about establishing democracy as a legacy of America at the expense of the lives of many Jews. I don't think Condi wants Jews to die, but she isn't seeing the reality of it for some reason.

OH yes, and after re-reading my post, my english kind of stunk, so i hope you all know I am pro-Israel here, it kind of read wierd. Sorry.

I must say Condi and Bush are surprising me regarding this Israeli-Palestinian thing and it stems from the 'political' part of being a president.

Hey there guys;
I agree with Old Soldier. Peace in that part of the world is elusive and may never occur, but it makes sense to try to forge some alliances nevertheless. I am saddened by the innocents that get hurt via this madness! In any case, I think Ms. Rice was choosing her words VERY carefully and they were well chosen.

I have disagreed with her stance on a few issues, but strangely not here. Then again, perhaps I am blinded by my devotion to her;) hehehehe Have a great week everyone:)

Can't have Peace in the Middle East unless you know the basis for it. That does *not* including funding terrorist organizations that just happen to have won elections that puts them in charge of some National entity. There is a reason for the State Department's list of terrorist organiztions: you don't give them *anything*. Hamas is specifically ON that list as of late 2005, and my guess is that they still ARE.

We apparently *still* lack a Foreign Policy and are making it up as we go along. And making it up *poorly* if I may say so. This void in the Administration has done no service to the Nation since 9/11 and is giving folks wonderful ideas about arming up quickly to further erode the Nation State system. If an end is not put to this, then it will surely be the end of us.
