Bloviating Zeppelin: Why Liberals Love Islam And Their Uncovered Meat; Why We Need "Smileys"

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Why Liberals Love Islam And Their Uncovered Meat; Why We Need "Smileys"

Lucky that Islam, the religion of peace and, moreover, understanding, has decided that women who are raped absent a hajib (see immediate left) are asking this act to be committed upon them. From The Bangkok Post:

Al-Hilali likened unveiled women to "uncovered meat" in a fasting month sermon in Arabic to 500 worshippers at Sydney's biggest mosque.

"If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden, or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats' or the uncovered meat? The uncovered meat is the problem," he said.

Al-Hilali told the congregation he leads that a woman who stayed home and was veiled would be safe from sexual assault. "If she was in her room, in her home, in her hajib (veil), no problem would have occurred."

This comment has become an issue because a number of teenage Australian girls were subjected to hours of sexual degradation during a spate of gang rapes in Sydney that occurred between 1998 and 2002. The suspects in these assaults framed their rationale in ethnic terms, the young victims being informed that they were “sluts” and “Aussie pigs” while they were being hunted down and raped.

As a result of the above comments by Al-Hilali, Australians and Prime Minister John Howard have reacted strongly:

"They are appalling and reprehensible comments," Prime Minister John Howard said. "The idea that women are to blame for rapes is preposterous."

Sex Discrimination Commissioner Pru Goward accused Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali of inciting sexual assault by excusing the perpetrators while blaming the victims. She said the Egyptian-born Mufti of Australia should be deported. "It's time we stopped just saying he should apologise," Goward said of the leader of Australia's 350,000 Muslims. "I think it's time he left."

From FrontPage magazine:

In Australia's New South Wales Supreme Court in December 2005, a visiting Pakistani rapist testified that his victims had no right to say no, because they were not wearing a headscarf.

And earlier this year Australians were outraged when Lebanese Sheik Faiz Mohammed gave a lecture in Sydney where he informed his audience that rape victims had no one to blame but themselves. Women, he said, who wore skimpy clothing, invited men to rape them.

But these ideas didn't begin in Australia.

Fjordman, in his "Blog about Islam, Scandanavian Affairs and Global Politics writes:

Numbers released in January 2005 indicate a sharp rise in the number of rape charges in Malmö, Sweden’s third largest city:

Alarmed at last week's police statistics, which revealed that in 68% of all rapes committed this year the perpetrator was from an ethnic minority, leading Muslim organisations have now formed an alliance to fight the ever-growing problem of young second and third-generation immigrants involved in rape cases against young Danish girls.

The German journalist Udo Ulfkotte told in a recent interview that in Holland, you can now see examples of young, unveiled Moroccan women with a so-called "smiley". It means that the girl gets one side of her face cut up from mouth to ear, serving as a warning to other Muslim girls who should refuse to wear the veil. In the Muslim suburb of Courneuve, France, 77 per cent of the veiled women carry veils reportedly because of fear of being harassed or molested by Islamic moral patrols.

Clearly, Muslims seem to perceive that many Western Cultures dress and portray themselves precisely as the above illustration to the left -- making them, naturally, subject to whatever resulting "justice" and "incidents" occur.

Do the Logical Extension.

By deciding that you will, for example, vote Democratic and embrace the overturning of the Patriot Act, the abandonment of Iraq, the gutting of call and internet monitoring, the elimination of waterboarding (which I shall freely admit I believe occurs) -- well, you have or you will ensure that Islam comes closer and closer to guiding your life in America. That is, if you happen to survive the CBN event that will result.

It stuns me to think that the very persons who speak of "understanding Islam" and according an attorney to every Islamist captured are those who would first be eliminated under Sharia law. What part of "the United States is a corrupt and secular society and should be completely destroyed" don't you get? How many times do Militant Islamists have to tell this to your face -- literally?

For certainly American women deserve to be raped, do they not? And American women deserve to be the recipients of "smileys," do they not?

A "smiley." Holy Mother of God.

How ignorant can you be?

TO Bloviating Zeppelin

Chance: Islam is about 500n years behind Christianity, Christians we use to be just like the current Muslims. We use to be like this 500 years ago with our fanaticisms and the more Liberal and modernized we westerners became the more we stopped acting like certain currently religious Muslims. Liberalism would eliminate many of the problems that currently plague Islam; Muslim countries suffer because they are too conservative and not Liberal enough. They have no freedom or civil rights.

Chance: As a conservative I will say this all of this white on white infighting of conservative and Liberal is contributing guaranteed to the elimination of the white race from political power in America. The Republican party is becoming a non-white agenda party so why do white conservatives waste their time blaming Liberals when their conservative Republican party is becoming 100% just like the democrats in other words Liberal and non-white agenda first. You people remind me of that old black on black violence that plagues the souls that are reincarnated in black skin. I feel that from the destruction of America as mulatto racial group will become the majority and that will be good to have everyone looking like me.

Chance: So Bloviating Zeppelin I enjoy speaking honestly instead of covering up things that need to be said in public, and I know that it scares many people. But I get bored going along with lies. I enjoy open dialogues when I comment It makes some people oooooooo! I am not going to touch that comment.

Take care, Bloviating Zeppelin and thanks for informing us about this incident.

I posted on this today, but you did a much more comprehensive job than I did. Excellent. These people are barbarians and if the left and P.C. crowd don't get a clue, we are all doomed.

Deb,

We're not doomed. Don't worry.

This is the aspect of Muslim culture that I really have a problem with. Chance is correct, Muslims are about 500 years behind the rest of the world. Eventually they will catch up but in the meantime, they destroy any credibility about a wanting peace when they treat their women like... wow, I don't even have a word to describe it. It is sickening no matter what you call it.

Just 500 years? Hmmmm... 1506... Cesare Brogia was still around, just escaped from captivity and was joining up with his brother-in-law to exact some retribution... Niccolo Machiavelli was giving the foundational reasoning for citizen soldiery being better than mercenaries and was in service to Cesare just prior to then, and was still formulating the basis for "The Prince"... Lucrezia Borgia was just mid-way through her career of political bed-hopping, leaving tumult behind her for her brother Cesare... the Italian Renaissance was in full swing with the help of the Borgias and others, and da Vinci already a well-known scientist and military planner, was just returning to Milan after spending time under the employ of Cesare after having already finishing 'The Last Supper' and just finishing up the 'Mona Lisa' around age 54... Copernicus had witnessed a couple of lunar eclipses, had graduated studying canon law and was gathering his observations together and working damn hard on math... Columbus died after having mutliple expeditions to the New World having beguiled money from clenched fists of kings throughout his career... the Holy Roman Empire was creaking along and decaying slowly, but deeply... and the thing that would finally do in centrally controlled religion, namely moveable type printing had been around for about 50 years and the man who would use that to bring the Roman Catholic Church under question, Martin Luther was a year away from becoming a priest, thus all the things *he* railed against were still going on and rampantly, such as sales of lessened time in purgatory and such like.

Modern day Islam hasn't really learned to cope with moveable type, and this whole business of individual liberty that was becoming established as an idea in 1506 receives only brief play after a couple of centuries of exposure to it directly. Their tactics and methods, however, are era-spanning as they use non-State based warfare which was made illegitimate after the end of the 30 years war which was still some way off in 1506, seeing as how it was signed in 1648. Thus this was still the world of fiefdoms, kingdoms, empires (miniature, medium, large, small and jumbo in the case of China), mercenaries, impressed serfs, knights were starting to get pressed out of the battlefield to become just 'cavalry'... Islam, itself, had three empires going: Ottoman, Safavid, and Mughul. Which sort of puts the kibosh on 'unified Islam' and 'living in peace between fellow Muslims', as each of these had their own fair notions of what they should do and they did *not* get along very well.

So, religiously I would have to place Islam somewhere around to the point right after the Bible had been put together but, in the case of Islam, everyone decided to keep to their local traditions in addition to the common Koran, and try to 'agree to disagree', which became disagreeable almost immediately. So a kind of stasis after the Council of Trent in 1563 for the Bible for the similar period, but with no one in Islam agreeing that the Koran was actually *it* and that their local writings should be given less credance. So Christianity was a bit more backward in 1506, to say the least, but with centralizing and cross-communicating authority, it was able to extinguish the major Western branches, while the Eastern went their own ways. Islam is *way* before even that, and still trying to figure out the actual, real, line of succession after Mohammed. They have been squabbling at that for centuries prior to 1506 and are STILL DOING SO. When you can't even figure out who the legitimate heir to helping a religion along IS you have a major problem, especially if that is foundational to the religion and belief system that grows up around it.

In a Monopoly game context: they got to roll second and there are two colors of dice and they cannot decide if they should add color one to color two or color two to color one. Christianity has circled the board a few times, been in and out of jail a number of times, bought up everything that was worth having and *now* we get complaints from Islam that it was supposed to WIN. They are not even on their first roll yet, and the turn order is not set: so if you squabble everyone else gets to keep on playing. Now they have found out that the rules of the game of building a religion require some cohesion and color precedence is *still* stopping them. This is not rocket science... it is Ensuring Religious Continuity 101. If L. Ron Hubbard can figure it out, then what is up with Muslims? More to the point, if a carpenter from a small town can figure it out, then why couldn't a merchant trader's son a do that same thing few centuries LATER working in the EXACT SAME REGION?

1506? We should be so *lucky*.

Chance: to a degree I can certainly agree with you in your terms of "white on white" -- revolving around, again, on both sides of the aisle, on White Boy Guilt. And yes, the Republicans ARE becoming similar to the Democrats which is why I find myself more and more distancing myself from Republicans and embracing only Conservatism. But I still don't see a third party, much less a viable one; I too enjoy speaking and writing honestly and am glad that you do as well. I'm not For Whites or For Blacks; I'm FOR CONSERVATISM. I recently read that, in a few hundred years, most persons will be brown, over 6' tall and sport larger genitals. It will be because, more and more, there is more intermarriage and intermixing of the races and, to me, this is only obvious. I am a perfect example. My fiance is Mexican. She's not "Hispanic;" she's Mexican. You can see the southern Indian in her, not the Spanish. But who cares? I still love her with all my heart. I'm not about race, I'm about mindset, perspective and theory.

Debbie: thank you; I'll check out your blog indeed!

James: I disagree. We may not be literally doomed but, absent very stiff internal fortitude and drive, we are on the cusp of some very serious civilization-and-nation-changing events.

AJ: I cannot even begin to match your knowledge of history; to me you have made the argument about the overall placement is Islam in terms of the rest of the world. We must NOT, however, forget that Militant Islam is LEARNING how to manipulate our technology AGAINST us and to work and play not only our technology but our society, our openness and our goodness and willingness to believe in the inherent goodness of others -- than anyone, given enough time, can be talked out of harming others or coming around to another way of thinking.

This Western mindset is just plain stupid. And massively dangerous.

Mr. Z - Agreed with on the enemy, but we must also understand that their ideology is of the fantastical nature which does not stop them from doing many things, but also takes strange and irrational directions. Their own work on an end-game to terrorism is chillingly frightening and has no conception on how economies work and uses true 11th century or older concepts to try and make a go of it in the modern day. So for a very short term it could go forward, here and there, but then would be consumed by the forces it brought to a halt. Which would just make everything *worse*.

So they have *outlook* but little *foresight*, and depend upon the fantastical to keep them going as an underpinning of their planning. Which is why they are not in charge of Afghanistan and much of the Muslim world, and are living in caves... Iran has a bit more solid foundation in the economics, but it is using the old-fashioned State-based methods and is finding out *those* limits and frighteningly so. Still they are *limits* and they have problems dealing with those.

They want certain results and *believe* they can get them, but have no basis for gettting there other than that belief. They can, do and will do anything in following that belief, but that does not make it one bit more realistic in what actual outcomes will be. Thus they perpetrate horror upon horror and wonder why the world did not crumble *instantly* to them. They live in this world but their outlook is not rooted in it, but in one gone past. They can use means and methods, but cannot understand how to create new means and methods, just tinker with what there is.

That will be the end of them if we get up off our butts and work on it.

I am a liberal, but I agree with you. I don't understand why many fellow liberals view Islam with such an open mind given the fact that this horrible religion oppresses their women, executes many homosexuals, and employ such draconian methods that would make anyone cringe. Islam is a FAR greater threat to liberal ideals than any right-wing evangelist christian sect in the US. I once spoke with a classmate of mine at University. He was a Muslim and spoke of the "peaceful" attitudes of Islam and how it was so misunderstood by the public. However, he was one of the most homophobic people I had ever met. He spoke at great length about how Gays and lesbians deserved to be placed in concentration camps and needed to die and that they were an abomination to God. Had I the courage, I would've asked: "how is this the peacefulness that you speak of in Islam?"
