She said IRan and Syria are going to take over Lebanon and soon are going to destroy Israel and take over. She said our freedom could be gone in an instant UNLESS WE STAND UP..

The way our government and now congress is going.. We are going to have to fight this ourselves.

Now with Aljazeera on our cable t.v. and the libs in congress, and the "Dinner Jacket" in Iran teaming up with other countries and Bin Laden it is a scary scenario.. Bush CAN'T cave in to the libs. Chance: Islam is going to spread like fire thru Europe and America it already is spreading in these locations. The question I have is why are so many Americans of all racial groups and western Europeans and eastern Europeans going Islam meaning converting to Islam? Many Christians in America and Europe have converted to Islam with out being forced.

I feel it has a lot to do with feelings of non satisfaction and unhappiness with Christianity. Many Christians and catholic Christians are unhappy with Christianity. They don’t feel the inner fire that Christianity once had -- and most Christians who still are Christians understand what I mean by inner passion for the Christian religion.

Chance: Islam has a lot of passion that moves on the emotions I have been to Muslim mosque many times, I have been to many Churches many times, I have spoken with many Jewish people about the TANAK (Old Testament of the bible) and the Torah and the mitvots, I have been inside of a Sikh temple and spoke to the religious leader. I have studied many religions even Hinduism and Buddhism.

Out of all the religions I have encountered I will say that the Islamic Mosque have an energy of powerful passionate emotions that are electric in the atmosphere of the mosque. Americans and Europeans are joining Islam because they feel a void that Christianity in its current form can not fill. Many so called Christians are really Christians in name only this also applies to people of other religions.

I know many Jewish people who are Jewish in name only and care little for Judaism. They see it as a religion that is good for making business contacts with other Jewish people in positions of Authority. But not as religious practioners they prefer the secular life, I have met and conversed with many Rabbis too who were pious. Hassidics are more pious many of them follow the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov (Israel Ben Eliezer רבי ישראל בן אליעזר).

Christianity is loosing to Islam because it has too many people in name only.

Could it be that there is MUCH value to the "traditional" trappings of various older religions and "updating" religions to accommodate "progressive beliefs" is a path to the destruction of that selfsame religion?

Chance: The problem is that Christianity has not updated itself and Islam has not updated itself they remain too conservative, and have not updated themselves to fit these modern times. Also when culture, religion, technology, etc does not update itself according to the time period of that generation -- the people will go out and seek something new to fill the void. We had typewriters then word processors we needed something faster then came the computer. We had records, then cassette tapes, then CDs, now Ipods and zune electronic recorders that store hundreds of songs.

Chance: The same thing with religion it has too be updated Islam needs to be updated, Islam is way too conservative and this is what’s actually creating the terrorists. The terrorists see all of the good material benefits of Liberal America and Liberal Europe they wish their conservative Muslim countries had all of the civil rights, personal freedoms, voting rights, etc that Liberal America and Liberal Europe have. So they can not take their anger out on their own corrupt leaders because they will be killed. So they attack America and Europe because they envy America and Europe’s Liberal freedoms. This is why they hate us because of our freedoms -- and they wish they have these freedoms in their Conservative Muslim countries but their Muslim countries are too conservative.

But Islam still has an inner passionate emotional fire that can be felt by many who come in contact with Muslims and Mosque. And it is this powerful passion of emotions combined with the teachings of the Quran and Hadiths that causes many to convert. Christianity has lost that fire because many Christians no longer feel it in their souls.

Chance: Religion must be able to progress and change to some degree according to the needs of generation. Christianity will under go a powerful change and the esoteric (hidden or secret) side of Christianity will replace this basic exoteric (public basic teachings) Christianity and Christians will be happy. Religion is progressive and when something stops progressing it will be abandoned by the followers. This is part of the reasons Greek, roman, and other ancient religions are no longer around. Yes these people were conquered by other people but the Jews were conquered and sent into captivity many times but never lost their religion. That’s because their religions kept progressing this is why you have Hassidic Jews Hassidim was influenced by the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov.

Progressive movements verify that old saying that change is constant. Progressiveness verifies what Buddha said becoming and existing. Also, every new beginning comes from some other beginning end.

Chance: Every time people hear the word progressive they think about the political left. But Progressiveness is in all area not just politics it is in economics, daily life, religions, etc never stop progressing when something stops progressing it dies or is abandoned.

I wrote an essay titled the scientist and religionist in it I combined science and God and showed that a higher intelligence exists. I used science to verify the higher intelligence instead of just say I believe in God.
