Bloviating Zeppelin: All Animals Are Good

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

All Animals Are Good

And not just to eat, either.

PETA and other wacky anthropomorphists need to take a big dose of Reality in term of their views of animals and humans.

First, let's check out Timothy Treadwell who, along with his girlfriend 37-year-old Amie Huguenard, were killed in 2003 because Tim was stupid.

Here is a man in China who survived a bear attack and was the recipient of the world's second face transplant.

Let's next check out the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, who was killed in 2006 when he got too close to a stingray.

Here is what Great White Sharks do in their spare time: they eat those cute little seals with Big Human Eyes.

Recently, a zookeeper lost a good portion of his arm to a crocodile -- who evidently didn't realize the man meant no harm and only had good emotional intentions.

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- A zoo worker had his forearm reattached Thursday after his colleagues recovered the severed limb from the mouth of a 440-pound Nile crocodile, an official said. The crocodile severed Chang Po-yu's forearm on Wednesday at the Shaoshan Zoo in the southern city of Kaohsiung when the veterinarian tried to retrieve a tranquilizer dart from the reptile's hide, zoo officials said.

Waitaminnit: PETA, are you having second thoughts?

P.S.
I'd like mine really rare, please.

No they aren't having second thoughts. They are cheering. The animals are winning.

I'm afraid BWH is absolutely correct!

A coincidence. My Sunday post is also about a bear, but not quite as gory as yours! :)

Anonymous: morons? You mean those animals aren't the type with which you'd like to cuddle up to and soothingly whisper "kootchy kootchy koo"?

C'mon ya turdball, ALL animals are good! No one says croc, done with a little butter mesquite rub, ain't GOOD.

I'll take mine medium rare. Never had croc before. Alligator is pretty tasty...perhaps they're similar.

Shark, on the other hand, I HAVE had, and it's freakin' delicious. Mmmmmmm. Cut that sucker up into steaks and pop 'em on the grill....

Gott go now. Hungry. Animals ARE good.

LMAO!

Since cattle flatulence causes more emissions than autos, I'm doing my part of offsetting by eating more burgers and steak!

I likes mine medium rare....succulent and juicy with lots of steak sauce.

Just got back from the market, we're having giant racks-o-ribs, marinated, some great BBQ sauce, all cast onto my Weber Genesis Silver, some Coronas, some Heinekens -- now THAT'S enjoyment on a Sunday, boys and girls!

My eyes, my eyes :-)!!

Peta people care about animals to the neglect of humans. My mother-in-law is a big animal lover and animal rights' person. She has also made it pretty clear that she cares more about her animals than her own grandkids. I'd say that her priorities are a little screwed up.

Maybe since Peta loves animals so much, they will volunteer themselves to be the next meal. Sounds good to me.

Zep,

Thanks for the kind words about our site which you posted on Gunny's Firing Range. Wish I was humble and modest, but we're way too cool to even attempt to fake it.

Gunny has it right, shark is good eats.

Treadwell: His mistake was not realizing that animals are out for 2 things. Protecting their turf, and filling up on lower members of the food chain. They are fueled by nothing more than instinct, and nature's preprogramming.

Cool Blog. I've seen your post's on Gunny's many times and wondered who the hell you were.

Gotta ask about one of your pic postings. Are you sure that's a Chinese dude that got mauled by a bear, and not a post-op photo of Michael Jackson. Maybe I'm weird, but I see a striking resemblance.

Porcus: I checked the code and dammit, you're right, it WAS a photo of Jackson. I HATE it when I get upstaged like that!

These animals are apex predators, you don't go and cuddle them. Stevie Irwins death was an indescribable tragedy but he knew the risks he was taking. You can all boast about eating them, take them out without your precious guns and see how cocky you are.

If it wasn't for the all the beautiful animals of this earth all of you morons would be dead. Because animals keep the earth's ecosystem going, and without a healthy ecosystem, you fat red neck hicks couldn't breathe.

Just because some people get attacked by animals doesn't mean they're evil. Animals don't kill from jelousy or rage like PEOPLE do. They kill to eat and in self defense. And people are ALWAYS attacked out of carelessness, stupidity, or both.
Natural selection, I say.

And if it weren't for all the beautiful animals of the earth, I wouldn't have the nice two-inch ribeye I barbecued last night, or the tri-tip I'm now marinating. Man-0-man, tri-tip plied with some great marinade for 24-hours? Great taste and tender like you wouldn't believe. My hat is off to the Weber Company as well!

Finally, anonymous, let's review facts you should have learned in elementary school. It's not animals that are photosynthetic, it's plants. So, no, you and I don't need animals to breathe. We need plants. Remember photosynthesis in 3rd grade? You might want to check this URL. Just a tad bit of education for you. Come back and comment again, please, after your mommy has tied your shoes. She needs to limit your computer time, however. Just a suggestion.

Dear Save The Sharks:

Better late than never to the blogpost. Welcome aboard and please return. In any event, I don't think we're much off here; the post, as you might surmise, was written with just a slight portion of my tongue firmed in-cheek implanted. You're entirely correct, animals don't kill for jealousy or rage as do humans. Point made. Mostly they kill to either survive, to feed or to repel a perceived threat. Timothy Treadwell applied human anthropomorphic emotions to beasts that feel or understand no such thing.

Eventually, yes, completely Darwinian.
