Dead

The immigration bill is dead, after having failed its first vote on Thursday. And this just in: the bill has now failed its second vote. It will likely be pulled completely on Friday.

And yes, that is an actual photo of a portion of the US/Mexico border fence.

Here's a little peek at our future: the number two most popular name for boys in the United Kingdom is now Mohammad. The number one name is Jack.

Also, the US border fence was completely approved 6 months ago, for a 700 mile segment. Why have only three miles been built?

One only has to look at how that TB patient was allowed to leave the airport in Montreal, for the latest example of how it appears to be a non-issue to this government.

One of the weakest parts of the border is the middle of the St. Lawrence River. The natives, on both sides of the border, continue to claim sovereignty over the water and ferry anyone/anything across for the right price.

Thanks to the U.S. Air Force and NORAD our skies, at least, are well-patrolled, and the U.S. Navy assist with patrolling our coastlines. This Canadian is truly grateful for America's help, wherever it may be.
