(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Truths

Let's consider some truths:

The average illegal immigrant family receives an average of $30,000 in government benefits. Yet they pay only about $9,000 in taxes per year. That creates a $21,000 shortfall that the American taxpayer has to make up. That's like buying each of these illegal immigrant families a brand new Mustang convertible -- each and every year." -- Robert Rector, Ph.D, The Heritage Foundation

The bulk of Mexico is nothing but a drain on my society.

Border security? A joke.

A $5,000 fine per illegal Mexican?

A joke. Like you can squeeze blood from the proverbial rock? GFL.

We let some dude with TB into our country because we used "discretion."

MEXICO CITY — It wasn't Miss USA's night.
Booed mercilessly at the Miss Universe pageant by a Mexican audience angry at U.S. immigration policy, and seen by millions of TV viewers as she slipped and fell on the pageant stage, Miss USA Rachel Smith nonetheless managed to take the high road and offer her Spanish-speaking hosts an enthusiastic, "Buenas noches Mexico. Muchas gracias!"

You know what, folks?

Fuck Mexico. Fuck illegal immigrants. I've had ENOUGH.

Typically when you do a post like this, I try to defend or explain my president. But the very nature of the things he has been saying to the press core rub me very wrong.

I more than like President Bush. He is the only POTUS that has ever shaken my hand. He has personally answered my son's letters. So that makes this very hard.

Bush is very wrong on two key points to me. The first being autism. The second being immigration. The immigration thing is really starting to wear thin on me.

This is not just a misunderstanding like his position on autism. This is a core value difference.

You and Fred can poke fun at Bush or rant about him. For me, this problem over values is personally hurtful and troublesome. I aint joking. I aint angry. I'm truly hurt.

It’s Official: George Bush IS an idiot!

BWH: first, let's cut to the reality chase: he didn't personally answer your letter. Some drone wrote whatever you received. That's not just on Bush; it's on EVERY and ANY person sitting on that chair.

Wearing THIN? You are being VERY kind.

And no, it isn't "some kind" of "misunderstanding," it is clearly a Value Difference.

There is a Revolution brewing. You are a part of it. This revolution may be at the end of a pen or the end of a GUN.

I am done with supporting Bush. You can be "hurt" with poking fun at the current president.

There is rage. There is resentment. There is anger. There is a reason I am REFUSING to send ANY MORE MONEY to the RNC.

There is a line here. In the sand or the dirt.

You cross this line?

I am DONE with you.

I have HAD IT with appeasing or satisfying ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

We don't know if the country will "curl up and die" with the lack of illegal job placement?

Let's just LET THAT HAPPEN.

2008 will be an HISTORICAL ELECTION. We are UP TO HERE with ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

In ALL seriousness, I blame the RNC for this as much as I blame anyone, Bush never has been a real Conservative, and he has drifted so far away from the Republican party that to even describe him as a RINO is giving him the benefit of the doubt...

Many were terribly pissed off at me for my attitude towards Bush a while back and that's OK too, it seems a lot of eyes have been opened wide now, but blame Bush, blame the RNC, blame whoever, this nation is in one hell of a mess and Bush is the HMFWIRIC, and someone has got to stop him before he fully kills the RNC...

It's not that I really give a damn about the RNC either, I'm an Indy, but given the option of ANY Dem as opposed to 'most' Repubs, I have to back a Repub candidate, and that BWH is called 'the lesser of 2 evils', and by God, we deserve a lot more than the lesser of anything...

The Dems NEVER gave a damn about Conservatives, we're not going to vote for em any way, the Repubs promised us the moon and after Billy Blowjob we fell for it, hook, line and sinker, maybe the RNC didn't change but their head MORON has either changed drastically or was one hell of an actor right from the start...

I have no idea what the short term solution is, I have a couple of ideas but they are really against the law so that lets me out, I won't go THAT far, but we have about a year and a half of President NumbNutz and if he's not reigned in BY the RNC, and I mean right now, the damage may well be irreparable, if it's not already...

BWH, I'm sorry if our feelings regarding Bush cause you pain, I really am, but if you'll remember, a while back I took a man, a fellow blogger, at his word when he apologized to me and asked for forgiveness, and I was terribly blasted by many readers of this blog because of it, and to date, not ONE of them that did the blasting, even after they received a detailed explanation of my reasons has come forward to say, "I'm sorry man, you were right to make your decision as it concerned you", and to be VERY brutally honest with you, for some time I was hurt by that too, but I got over it, and you'll get over the Bush hurt too...

Politics ain't for the thin skinned or feint of heart, I have learned that it's a hell of a lot more like a combat zone or a gunfight, and I can handle that...

BZ, I both understand your frustration and wholeheartedly agree with your words, but what are we to do with Governments (the U.S. and Canada) which continuously ignore the electorate?

Second, is Canada's inexcusable inaction in not arresting the TB patient in Montreal, as he was already red-flagged by the U.S. Yes, I know that he should never have left Europe, but, more importantly, he should NEVER have been able to leave the Montreal airport. This is the reason that I don't visit too many times, as I'm so deeply ashamed of Canada's inaction on a variety of related issues. Wanting to be viewed as the perennial "nice guy" is no excuse.

BWH: in my opinion, you have gone OUT of your way to be understanding and supportive of your president -- and mine. But how many times can he and the Republicans continue to spout things that are simply WRONG for this country. Not just "inappropriate" but actually WRONG. No matter what ANYONE says or writes, it IS ALL ABOUT the demographics. The "majority wins" and, in terms of repopulating this country AND in terms of porous borders, this country IS going to change. Let MORE terrorists into this country to do their work: the country will be horribly damaged. Let more illegals into the country, it will BECOME the country those arriving left behind. We simply do NOT do enough to even protect ourselves and that's not just disgraceful, it's massively dangerous.

As you all know, I've been bashing Bush for a long time. I started on September 12, 2001. I was attacked and bashed to no end and I attacked and bashed back. I said things to my fellow Americans I wished I had never said. I was banned from blogs for saying what you all are saying right now.

On September 12th our borders should have been closed, period, we were attacked.

I still can't comment on some blogs even though we completely agree, on everything.

I thank Fred for reaching out his hand to me, if for no other reason but to say I've made a great friend.

BZ, you have always been fair and decent and we didn't agree on much back then.

The bottom line is our borders need to be sealed and now.

This President has not done it, why?

Sat Jun 02, 07:20:00 AM PDT
Blogger Ranando said...

It's really a simple process.

You pick up the phone and call the head of Homeland Security and say the following, "I want our borders sealed. If people want to enter our country legally, let them in, if not shoot em. Treat them as invaders"

See, really simple.

Ranando: yeah, I CAN remember when you WERE banned all over. But the President and the GOP had to DRAG ME, KICKING AND SCREAMING ALL THE WAY in the journey TO these decisions. I want nothing more than to support my president in every way. I want it desperately. But on the other hand, whether it is he or others, I still reserve the right to point out what I consider to be errors. And apparently I am not the only one with similar opinions. I didn't "hate him off the bat" and wanted nothing to do with him. I don't hate him now. I don't UNDERSTAND him and WHY he supports what he supports. And I dislike placing labels (though sometimes I succumb when I'm particularly virulent and tired).

But I just don't get it. What happened to Conservatism? What happened to keeping this country safe in every and ALL aspects? What became wrong with wanting your country to be a sovereign states holding on to its LANGUAGE, its BORDERS, its own CULTURE and PERSONALITY?

Ah, it is now dawning upon some that the Right in America is not 'conservative'! When RNC donations drop by 40% in one shot that tells me exactly how much of the Republican Party is 'conservative' and how much is on the Right. Of course the Right, by being Transnational Capitalists have lots more money and can leverage that against the 'conservative base', but, as the saying goes: money talks.

There must be a re-alignment of conservatism *away* from the Right and towards its more traditional outlook towards the common, working man and safeguarding him against government and corporations so that individuals can have the ability to lead a good life. I note that the Republican Party doesn't say that any more, and that capitalism gets the almight 'free pass' without any examination of it to ensure that corporate power does not, as Jackson put it, 'prostitute Government' to the benefit of the few and powerful.

Strange that I find conservatives espousing that very thing with 'free trade freeing people' and getting hooked on putting forth that capitalism is all benefit, no problems and the surcease of problems amongst men. Far be it from me to point to the suffering of people under tyrannical regimes that we trade with and make profit off of their lack of rights, that the idea of trade freeing people has failed for 90 years when it was first applied to the Middle East by this very same Nation, and that capitalism has, within its breath, Fascism and dictatorships of many sorts which tend to be authoritarian and deadly to the rights of man. Mind you it is these corporations that have now weaseled out of the tax code, gotten subisidies from the Federal coffers *and* import illegal labor in contravention of all laws of the Union and have arranged for the penalties of hiring same to be misdemeanors.

How come that doesn't look too conservative to me?

When *will* conservatives break from the Transnationalist led corporate Right? I see all sorts of decrying about 'moderate muslims' not protesting against radicals, and yet I see little activity by conservatives to actually safeguard our Rights to have a Nation that is not influenced by mere corporations that are legal constructs. Or is this a Nation of, by and for the Corporation? Notice how they utilize and use conservatives to get their way?

Ronald Reagan promised to bring a big old axe to government and hack off a few of its limbs, like the just standing up Dept. of Education and the Dept. of Agriculture and quite some other extraneous bits of Federal Kudzu. Instead he brought the watering hose and fertilizer with him.

Newt tried to lead a movement towards conservatism, but became the leader with a feet of clay against sinecured concerns and entrenched politicians unwilling to budge from their paths. He was a man leading a movement... it was not a movement creating good men and women to push for the greater good and creating leadership because of that movement.

It is a strange thing that in a Nation of Free People one automatically looks for *leaders*, instead of figuring out a good way to lead amongst men. Leaders are frail, human and bound by their own limits. Leaders can be Saintly or Devilish, sometimes both within the same person. Good leadership grows from movements and do not seek ever changing leaders and whims to guide them, but instead see that path of liberty and freedom as undying. A perfect goal that guides us all.

I put forth that the test of conservatism is the question: do conservatives actually uphold ideals or are they merely on the Right? Good direction forward can be that which hews to the greater good and insures that good lives can be led. That is 'progress' and yet towards an everlasting ideal of Liberty and Freedom.

But then I am no conservative, but a Jacksonian.

I look about for some folks that can help bring down these two edifices that now overshadow the People. This Left and Right that is killing America. And only conservatives can hit them both at the exact, same time and change the course of this Nation back to that of the People.

As one weak and frail man, I see those that care for this Nation abused by those they place trust in. I offer a hand to help stand up and look around in the hopes that some of what I see, you may also see. A land that has stepped into Hell one fine day, because we could not distinguish sunshine from sulfur. Now they wish to lay down and roast here... I refuse to roast in Hell with the Left and Right and watch my Nation wither before it bursts into flames. We can only find that sunshine of freedom if we dare to march out of this Hell of our creation *together*. I know this hot place will get me, but if others can see the landscape and find the way... then America is on Her Path again, and Her People will see that true light of Liberty and Freedom once more. Because I trust in the People, not in myself nor any single leader. The leaders are temporary, the Path is fixed. A path of a People coming together to have something different and special amongst mankind.

A Republic of Free People.

I'm going to admit something here, BZ. I'm confused. I'm confused as to why a president who owns a ranch in Texas isn't more sympathetic to the problems Texas, and other border states are facing. Besides, it's not only the border states anymore... they're everywhere. Also, it's not simply illegal hispanic immigrants, it's a matter of national security. So I'm confused. None of this makes any sense. President Bush isn't making any sense and the liberals sure as hell don't make any sense! But they never did anyway. I'm also angry, but most of all I'm confused. I want, more than anything, to understand why the hell this is happening!

Gayle, I know you don't put a lot of stock in my opinion but if you'll indulge me for a minute, Bush lied to us, ALL of us, he is not, nor was he ever, what he claimed to be, he is truly a wolf in sheep's clothing, but he's a really dumb wolf, he just had the right people pulling the strings...

And I am not trying to make you mad or start a fight with you Gayle, I have seriously missed talking to you, more than anyone, but this is MY opinion and you know I stick to my guns, I feel Bush is basically a moron on the border thing, he is pandering to what he, and his handlers believe to be a HUGE voting base for the RNC in the future...

But it's not going to happen that way, Mexican-Americans traditionally vote Dem, that's the facts...

Please consider this an overture towards a civil discourse, Ranando has MORE than kept his word to me, he has become a very good blogger and has expressed his regrets, many times, for the way things went in the past, and he HAS become a real good blogging buddy, and I know that's where a lot of our difference sprang from, but I am not gonna turn my back on ANY man or woman that comes to me and asks forgiveness, ever though MANY have turned their backs on me...

He was governor and it is in somebody's handwriting. But forget that.

When I used the term "misunderstanding" I was very clear. I think Bush and Santorum both have a misunderstanding of autism. But Bush genuinely hurt my sensibilities in that immigration press conference.

I will not rant about any president. They all do stuff I don't like. Even my favorite, Reagan, did some bonehead things. But this may be the first time that I have been this let down.

I have only held two presidents in true contempt. But Bush is working on increasing that number.

Excuse me for butting in, but after reading these comments I'd like to add mine, if I can.

I voted for President Bush twice. I sincerely liked the man. After the first term, there were things I was scratching my head over. Things that concerned me. The first was right after he defeated Gore, he said he'd work for a compromise with the Dems.

WHY? You had a majority in the House and Senate. If anyone needed to compromise, it was the Dems Mr. President! He had at least 6 years to get stuff done. I feel those 6 years were wasted.

I feel like I have been gamed, had, owned, screwed, whatever you want to call it, by my President. I actually feel hurt AND used in the way he has let me down.

I've tried to blow it off as long as I could. I'm the type of person that if you have my trust and then screw me over, it's over! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

For whatever his reason were, President Bush has lost my trust. I no longer feel he has my best interest, including my family's safety, at heart.

And what's even more bothersome to me is that I have no idea who should replace him. I sure hope someone does something to change my mind and quick.

I was so PO'd at Perry last election, I voted for Kinky even though I didn't agree with all his views. I actually thought he could get something done.

Afterwards, I felt a little low. I didn't "feel" good about my decision. Not that I regretted not voting for Perry, but because I didn't have a good option. I only had someone "to settle" for.

I hope I don't have to "settle" for another leader in 2008.
