(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

I Continuously. . .

. . . slap my forehead in amazement and wonder:

1. FORNICALIA SENATOR DIANE FEINSTEIN CALLS FOR SENTENCE COMMUTATION OF CONVICTED USBP AGENTS COMPEAN and RAMOS:

After presiding over a Senate hearing today, Sen. Dianne Feinstein has decided to ask President Bush to commute the sentences of former U.S. Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, an aide for the California Democrat told WND.

Feinstein will have a letter delivered to the White House tomorrow, said spokesman Scott Gerber.

Following the Senate judiciary committee's examination of the controversial prosecution, according to Gerber, the senator said "it became very clear the sentences did not match the crime."

When you read of this, did you not slap your forehead and ask: why is this coming from a liberal Democrat like Feinstein, and not our "conservative" 43rd President George Walker Bush?

I cannot help, like many of my readers, in thinking: why is it that our current CinC is bound and resolved to keep our borders open, cater to Mexico, offer essential amnesty to illegals yet cannot find it within his own good heart to extend this amnesty to two dedicated USBP agents who acted in good faith in the defense of our nation and whose crime certainly does NOT match their sentences? Why must this clarion call emanate from the liberal side of the aisle? I shake my head, again, in confusion because, after all, sometimes silence speaks and even drowns out volume.

2. AL GORE STILL FAILS TO UNDERSTAND THE DEFINITION OF THE WORD "HYPOCRITE":

ONLY one week after Live Earth, Al Gore's green credentials slipped while hosting his daughter's wedding in Beverly Hills.

Gore and his guests at the weekend ceremony dined on Chilean sea bass - arguably one of the world's most threatened fish species.

Also known as Patagonian toothfish, the species is under pressure from illegal, unregulated and unreported fishing activities in the Southern Ocean, jeopardising the sustainability of remaining stocks.

Gore continuously fails to understand: when you go far out of your way to portray yourself as the spokesman and expert in a given field, expect that all your actions and words shall be adjudged in the context of that expertise in which you yourself espouse.

He'd best watch himself; his faux pax may impact his earnings potential:

JULY 17--If you're looking to book Al Gore for a 75-minute "Environmental Multimedia Lecture," the former vice president will cost you $100,000, plus travel, hotel, security, and per diem expenses.

Not just "duh." Fuckin' duh, you ignorant nematode.

The FBI report, issued last week, says the smuggling organization "used to smuggle Mexicans, but decided to smuggle Iraqi or other Middle Eastern individuals because it was more lucrative." Each individual would be charged a fee of $20,000 to $25,000, according to the report.

Of course, this wouldn't be true because, after all, if our porous borders were an actual threat and not just a "damp ankle" issue for all our good Mexican friends, "conservative" President Bush would have repaired the error, would he have not?

What? You mean our friends the Saudis may be throwing more cash per body than the average drunk Coyote Mexican Slave Trader? Avarice? Greed? And moreover, might we ask the possible reasons for considering this advanced cash amount per person for Middle Easterners as opposed to the nominal $100 to $500 per-person charge for the average downtrodden hard-working and US-law-abiding Mexican? What? Do you detect the sound of my hand traversing some distinct distance between a starting point and the ending point of my rather exposed and follically-challenged forehead?

and finally:

4. NEVER, EVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POTENTIAL CRUELTY OF HUMANS, OLD OR YOUNG:

COTATI, Calif. -- A three-month-old kitten is fighting for his life after allegedly being set afire by two teenage girls last week. The male shorthaired kitten, named Adam, received second- and third-degree burns over 75 percent of its body and was being treated at an animal hospital in Cotati, in Northern California's Sonoma County, officials said.

The kitten has undergone two surgeries and had its tail and the tips of its ears amputated.

Two girls have been charged with cruelty to animals in connection with the case. They were arrested last Friday after allegedly pouring flammable liquid on the cat, only 8 weeks old at the time and setting it on fire.

Would it be ill-advised of me to state unequivocally that I would be the first in line to volunteer to dip these girls in powdered magnesium and find an adequate source of ignition?

I slap my head in the wonder and astonishment of it all. . .

I will never understand the likes of Al Gore. If he wants to live this extravagant lifestyle I do not begrudge him that. But to lecture your average American about driving an SUV or using up too much electricity when he uses 20 times the average person its ludicrous. No one takes kindly to being lectured to by a hypocrite, especially about a mythical issue such as global warming. Unbelievable!!!!!!!

As for the girls lighting the poor kitty on fire I would be extremely concerned if I were their parents. That kind of cruelty to animals indicates a very scary problem.

LMC: not only a scary problem but, at least for males, an indicator in terms of profiling of a murderer in the making.

Hey, if Feinstein thinks the punishment should fit the crime, maybe she can turn those efforts toward the sociopaths who lit the kitten on fire.

Save your money on the Al Gore speech; rent a copy of "An Inconvenient Truth". You're getting the exact same thing for about $99,997 less. And, it's still a waste of money.

Nah Feinstein does nothing for the betterment of mankind. She's just latched onto this to draw the non existant fire away from her Husband for Hire scheme in which she made millions.

The "girls" who did that to the little kitty should be dipped in sugar and honey and then thrown into a pit of hungry red fire ants.

1. Some libs know that this is a major issue and where the votes are. This is not necessarily where her heart is.

2. Gore is the High Priest. He has exemptions from Gaea herself.

4. I wouldn't actually do it, but I think I would dip them and stand there with a lighter asking them why I shouldn't do it.

ACK! BZ, your Avitar is scary! :)

Okay, taking it one at a time, your first post is definitely a head-slapper! I have to think that Feinstein is doing that just because Bush is not doing it. Remember, anything he doesn't do, the libs are for and vice-versa. Why he's not doing it I don't have a clue. I'm as flabbergasted as you are.

Regarding AlGore, he should take a lesson from Edwards. I mean, even Edwards took the hint and quit getting $400 haircuts.

I posted about the Iraqis being smuggled across our southern border too. We're on the same page. :)

Your last topic about the kitten is so sad. That girls could do such a thing! I hate to even contemplate what would happen to a child of mine that would do something like this. I'm sure I'd be locked up for child abuse! Even though they are girls I think it's a very good indication of murderers in the making.
