Bloviating Zeppelin: How I See John McCain

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

How I See John McCain

Ooopsie; McCain got Putin confused with Angela Merkel. Huh? And just who's pushing McCain, do you think? Would you be surprised if I told you that it was . . . nah! (Thanks, Michael Ramirez.)

Schwarzkopf Endorses McCain

I have to tell you, this means alot to me. I have the highest respect for Norman.

Hunter goes with Huckabee, good thing I never got behind this guy. It just goes to show us, we don't know any of them.

I am not real happy about the chances of McCain running our country, I don't think he will be worse than Bush. BUT I do think he is one step above either of the Dems.

I hope that all this apathy about the republican candidates subsides and we as a group elect a Repub to run the nation, if not our SCOTUS will go full lib before we get another chance at it and then the Repubs will really have us over a barrel.

If we hold our nose and elect a repub, he will have to appoint 1 maybe two judges in his term, if they are not conservative enough, the repubs in the senate will not confirm them.
If we elect a DEM, we will get Lib judges appointed and I don't know if the Repubs in the senate can block it.

Message being this might not be a good year to protest vote, even if the repub candidate is a RINO, he can repair the damage done by previous idiots.

We get the SCOTUS straightened out, THEN we can protest vote. Just my opinion I know there are those that disagree with it but the bottom line is the SCOTUS is the ones allowing some of the BS shit that is called MAJOR issues now.

Hunter surprised me, I thought there was a lot more to him than that...

McCain never surprises, he is a delusional old man suffering from long term PTSD and he is a danger...

Ranando: I have to tell you, this all just gets crazier, hazier and more confusing. And yes. We really do NOT know any of them.

Shop: the media PUSHED McCain AND Huckabee. I think they pushed Huckabee just because they could. I think they're pushing McCain because they know that, for many Repubs, he's a Hot Button.

Bushwack: McCain makes me shred my tongue and teeth. But yes, in my opinion he's better than any offerings from the Demorats. You let ANY Demorat in and you can count on SCOTUS lurching hard a-port and staying there for YEARS. Again, IMHO, it's ALL about getting into SCOTUS appointments.

TF: Hunter surprised me as well; I had a few future hopes for him.

I will not be voting for John McCain or any other Congresscritter. John McCain beyond the Congresscritter general rule, as he has earned his scorn, as I see it... and its *not* on the things so many others care about, although I do the fine-tooth comb bit on the ACU ratings.

The idea that John McCain could be the GOP nominee makes me rather ill.

So ill that I am hoping Mitt Romney, perhaps the most virally based candidate in history, is the actual nominee. It has come to this.

If it is a McCain ticket in November I don't know what I am going to do. I have said there is no way he will ever get my vote. Then I remember the WOT and that the Democrats want to surrender victory to defeat by our enemies.

Why can't I be one of the folks that is more interested in American Idol than the future of our nation? It would be so much easier.

Well as far as McCain goes he don't give a rats ass if you like him or not, and personally I DID look into him, but there's too much to him that don't quite sit so well with me. But, he's consistent in his beliefs and much of the success in Iraq is because of the surge that he advocated VERY early.

His illegal immigration policy makes it almost impossible for me to like him much.

He is a true military man, a hero, that alone does deserve a ton of respect and it is much needed in the Oval Office.. BUT if he was to be elected I believe he'd finish off the Republican party as we once knew it.

And that cartoon only lists some of McCain's sins. You'd have to make a huge cartoon to fit them all in.
