Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Lunacy Unrestrained

Canada is about to drill ten miles outside the United States ANWR range. They are about to drink our milkshake because they can and we cannot.

The one thing we fail to talk about is those costs that you don't see on the bottom line. That is coal makes us sick, oil makes us sick; it's global warming. It's ruining our country, it’s ruining our world. We’ve got to stop using fossil fuel.”

In the world of Obama, if you're from Texas, you're slated for Re-Education Camps in Chicago. And you'll have to walk there due to no oil.

If you have a site on Blogger, get ready to be deleted if you're Right Wing or Conservative. Blogger is already shutting down anti-Obama blogs. Thanks to Mark from Class8Commentary.

Wesley Clark found time this past weekend to denigrate what John McCain experienced during Vietnam:

Well, I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be president," Clark replied.

"Riding" in a fighter plane. Last time I checked, F-4 Phantoms had to be piloted.

Sorry, I'd rather have Cindy McCain as P-Wife over Michelle Obama as P-Wife. I seriously dislike loud, obnoxious, lying, rich, ungrateful females playing all possible victimized black cards.

the election was lost in the primaries. the choice is between the biggest liberal idiot ever considered for Pres. or the biggest liberal idiot appeaser who wants to out liberal the liberal as Pres.

McCain was certainly not my first choice, but when the only realistic choices are a head-cold or Ebola only a fool would choose to suffer Ebola.

Shoprat is so right!

They'll have to drag me to Chicago as a dead body, BZ, 'cause I'm not going there any other way.

Since I have that Obama video at the top of my blog, and that Obama "Sheeple worshipping Obama" picture at the top of my sidebar, I guess that sooner or later my blog will be eliminated. *sigh* How can that be legal? What about censorship? Oh, I forgot. Freedom of speech is only for the liberals.

the choices, as I see them are either vote for a socialist world order, or vote for a socialist world order. because that parade is marching on either with Obamessiah or McCain. It's more like choosing where do you want the malignant tumor? in your liver? or in your lung?
but y'all don't go gettin your panties in a twist, I imagine I'll vote McCain, if for no other reason than Obamessiah's surrogates are really pissing me off with the cheap (and really stoopid) attacks on McCain's "lack of experience". you would think they wouldn't want to bring that issue up for people to think about...
I'll probably have to check that box with my left hand, while I hold my nose with my right, and scream out like I'm passing a kidney stone or sumthin...

My biggest problem with the two presumptive nominees: they don't do policy.

Neither wants to be President, but Super-Senator.

I have had it with the WFB Conservatives 'standing athwart history yelling STOP!'.

How about some of that counter-attacking stuff? Appeasing the Left gets you Leftism each and every time. Opposing Leftism means you need legislators that will go in, each and every day of their terms, looking to expose the problems of 'good government', demonstrating how 'reform' isn't doing a damned thing, that giving more to government is making us poor, that government services are so rife with non-help and actually hurting people that no amount of 'regulation' or 'law making' will fix it, and generally looking in a determined fashion to expose each and every attempt of any Congresscritter to give *more* to government to do. Because the Leftists are doing that from the other side each and every single day and have the easy out of the media on their side.

You can undermine, undercut and roll back that agenda, but you cannot do it from the WhiteHouse if you have an appeasement party that will not do more than whimper about how 'unfair' the poor press is. If more government involvement is hurting our Nation and Liberty, and I can see that it is, then it should be damned easy to show up day after day to show each and every problem it has. Day-in, Day-out, Day-after-Day, 365 days a year with an extra for Leap Years.

You can show the American people the sick who are refused social security and medical help by electing people who want to do that.

You can show the corruption of the powerful by the use of the budget by electing people who will do that.

You can elect someone who wants 5-day work weeks for Congress and no extra days off.

You can elect someone who will document each and every 'exception' to every law that Congress puts in for itself, starting with the EEO laws and workplace and OSHA regulations.

What you can't do is get that from an appeasement party. And there are quite a few that are more than ready to go and see tyrants overseas and terrorists to appease them, too.

Elect those that will understand that they will have the hardest time of their lives standing up to these petty aristocrats Upon the Hill and these tinpot tyrants of law drafters.

I will vote against the appeasers: better a bare face fiend wanting to smother me in 'good ideas' than someone who talks like they will do something and then does not a single, damned thing to support my liberties and protect my Nation.

What happens when tyranny starts to dictate taxes without consent and impress people to its will? See example, 1776.

No more 'reformers' as they will not seek to repeal the power, just ameliorate it to be less awful not understanding that the power, itself, is the problem.

No more of the 'bi-partisan' appeasers.

You want my vote? Protect this Nation, uphold our laws, seek to repeal those hurting our liberty, confront our enemies, and get this damned government out of my life, my health, my business.

If anyone runs on that, they have my vote in a hot second. And my backing, too.

I can't stand McCain, but anyone with half a brain better go to the polls and vote for him. It is a choice between a sane liberal and an insane liberal.

It has nothing to do with party affiliation either, just picking the one who will not put our country in danger.

THAT SAID, we will still put his feet to the fire regarding putting our interests above the caribou or the polar bear and make sure he picks a stellar VP. As BZ says, it is SCOTUS that is vitally important as well.

If McCain were in the private sector, he'd be a used car salesman. that is the only profession a washed up senator would be any good at. I can't recall any senator being elected for president and I think the reason for that is that up to just this past year or so Americans knew what senators are, are wheeler-dealers, deal-cutters, salesmen of the crassest order. wheeler-dealers do not a leader make. that's not leadership, that's bullship.
so, say we manage to elect the used car salesman instead of the mac-daddy. what have we got? all McCain's campaign consists of is simply agreeing with the mac-daddy on all his domestic issues mac-daddy brings up. Mac-daddy says he wants to give the people this, and the used car salesman says "I wanna do that too!". that is the used car salesman's campaign strategy in a nutshell. this is great, awe-inspiring leadership? I think not.
The only serious reason I will probably vote for the used car dealer is his past experience in Viet-nam general Westley Clark so kindly brought up this weekend. he showed then that he loved his country. and I think he would do what he could to protect it. other than that, domestically, he just wants to out liberal the liberal. most of his policies are just plain stoopid.

I believe Kennedy was the last sitting congressman elected. Johnson was too but not at the time of his ascendancy to president.

I too am getting tired of the "tell them what you think they want to hear, then do as you damn well please" BS in politics.
I find it hard to believe that McDem and Ballsack are the best this country has to offer for the presidency.

Buying stock in a company that does Exploration & Production in Canada is a really good idea.

There is no reason we can't get rich off this. Infact much of the E&P is done by our Oil and Gas companies.

The thing that sucks is: much of the revenues will go to Canadians with mineral rights.

Obama is so wishy washy on energy anyway. He likes nuke. He hates nuke. He waffles more than Kerry.

Bo Snerdly is right about one thing: The republicans are scared to call night dark in this campaign.
