Bloviating Zeppelin: More Internal Strategery?

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

More Internal Strategery?

What is happening now?

There are "rumors" circulating about the internet that Joe Biden may pull his VP consideration, possibly due to some "health" issues.

The Delaware Senator took issue with an attack ad from his own side in an interview with CBS, telling Katie Couric that the Obama hit on McCain’s ignorance of computers and technology was “terrible.” The ad paints McCain as out of touch — and all but calls him ancient — but doesn’t mention that the Arizona Senator’s war injuries actually prevent him from using computers for an extended period.

Senator Joe Biden disagreeing in public with his running mate, Barack Hussein Obama?

Are we, in fact, being "set up" for a removal of Joe Biden as Demorat VP candidate because of the fallout the Obama Camp has received following his choice? Is Hillary waiting in the wings?

Thoughts?

And moreover, because the Demorats need to combat the Palin Female Factor?

What did I tell you. I got it from Gayle. But, I really don't think it will make or break things. Personally, I think more women will be excited with the Palin prospects over the Clinton prospects. I don't think they will want to wait 8 years for Hillary to win. I think they are looking at Palin to follow McCain and either move into the Presidency by default or election. The liberal media cannot stand Palin but I believe that the average working/homeway woman sees a lot of themselves in Palin.

I hate to be a Dem strategist but if Biden does step down maybe Obamas best bet would be to pick the "other" Clinton. BJ still has quite a following in the party and its not like he did anything except Moanica while in office.

Biden steps down, and the Dems are seen as trying to pander to the group that decided that the Reps are the party that really means change.

They are in an untenable position, and are well on their way to losing the election that was theirs to lose.

Cary: I disagree massively. This election was THEIRS to WIN and the GOP's to lose. The Demorats were sitting in the "Everyone Hates George Bush" Seat and were counting on unhappiness with the Bush Admin to win the presidency. And with all the things that had occurred when the GOP actually HAD power (and we pissed it away!), and with a Young Black Man on the Demorat side, they should theoretically be WALKING AWAY with the election.

And yet: THEY ARE NOT.

But they're still gonna lose.

BZ,
You know what I think, but I am not sure yet.
I don't know what the Clintons are thinking, and I have no clue if Hillary's best political course would be to be the V.P. or to wait and hope, or manufacture, an Obama loss so that she can run again in 2012. That said, she could become prez. easier after being V.P.

I just can't let this one go though. I don't think Obama will let this continue on with Biden and just lose.

It IS FUN TO GUESS what they might do next!

What if Biden steps down and Obama picks Sebelius?

I think either way. Whether Biden leaves and Obama picks someone else they are going to lose! Isn't this great!!

BZ - I concede the point. It was the Dems' to win, and they have cheerfully plucked defeat from the jaws of victory.

Now for sports, and the backpedaling competition just getting underway...

I don't see Hillary doing anything beyond appearances to help Obama. I think she will sit this out, quietly help destroy Obama, then say "I told you so." I could be wrong but I don't think so.

i hope to hades shoprat's right.

The way Biden's going, we can stop wondering about how some doctor will prove he's got an illness...he's sounding MENTALLY ill!

FOX mentioned it tonight; spooky to hear it actually 'out in the open'

Biden did nothing for Obama. He's just a liability. I fear that if there really was a "last minute" change, and Hillary became the VP, it might revitalize the Dems.

Can you picture the advertisement that comes out after that?

"Sen. Obama said that his two years of campaigning gave him 'executive experience' equal to that of a Governor."

"Sen. Obama said that this was the ticket that would change America."

"Sen. Obama picked Sen. Biden as his running mate."

"Sen. Obama didn't check Sen. Biden's health records."

"Sen. Obama didn't examine Sen. Biden's record."

"Sen. Obama got the first major action of his 'executive experience' WRONG."

I'm a Jacksonian and I thought that message up all on my lonesome in 1.5 minutes, most of it typing, which shows just how easy this stuff writes itself right out of the box.

Will we see the end of the 'Gaffe-tastics'? Just imagine what it will take for *that* to happen from Sen. Biden, who's self opinion is more inflated than Hillary's and with less cause... and then Sen. Obama would have to hire a food tester... if you think he has problems with Biden, just wait until you see a Clinton on the ticket with him. He would look older than McCain by the end of the election.

The Gaffes you don't know vs. the treachery you do.... hard decisions for Sen. Obama. Ones of his own creation. He will get the pain he deserves at his own hand, no matter how you look at it.

Blo,
I just did a piece on Islamic law in America and referenced you. I just linked your blog instead of the post because I couldn't get a link on the single post due to the link on the title. Long story, but anyway, just a heads up.
