Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

The Media Deserve To Die

I've been living for some time now. And at no other time have I ever seen the media in most every form as clearly and obviously biased against one political party as now. And then take umbrage that anyone would particularly notice.

The moderator of Thursday's vice-presidential debate is writing a book to come out about the time the next president takes the oath of office that aims to "shed new light" on Democratic candidate Barack Obama and other "emerging young African American politicians" who are "forging a bold new path to political power.
Gwen Ifill of the Public Broadcasting Service program "Washington Week" is promoting "The Breakthrough," in which she argues the "black political structure" of the civil rights movement is giving way to men and women who have benefited from the struggles over racial equality.

Do the two words "fox" and "henhouse" somehow magically spring to mind?

NBC and Katie Couric specifically don't mind the ratings bump they recently received from the Palin interview, but they intensely dislike their subject:

Sean McManus, the president of CBS News, extolled Ms. Couric’s interviewing skills, but he acknowledged that Ms. Palin had something to do with the attention. “We benefited from having an interview subject that most of the American public wants to see,” Mr. McManus said. “So the fact is this was a great opportunity, but you have to be able to take advantage of that opportunity, and we did.”

I could go on, but why? They still cannot comprehend the reason for their diminishing ratings on every level, TV, newspapers, magazines.

I have never before been witness to such media hatred, condonation of hatred from the Left and solicitation of hatred -- all pointed against Conservatives and the GOP.

This hatred is absolutely consuming them -- my local newspaper The Sacramento Bee being a perfect example: hundreds of firings and layoffs, a physically smaller newspaper.

And they still refuse to understand the reasons.

The Chosen One is going to CHANGE this nation, as sure as I am typing this...

And the undecided vote is going to allow it to happen...

Lock and load, we're in for a hell of a ride, the Missouri *Truth Squads* are only the beginning, Obama WILL be the next Adolph Hitler given ANY opportunity, and I won't have to worry, I'll be gone in the 1st wave...

I AM armed and ready, but if he can get the military and law enforcement behind him as in the *Missouri Truth Squads*, take a silly guess as to what the son of a buck loving bitch will do when he has REAL power...

Reactionary?? I think not, preparedness... A ounce of prevention if you will, because IF the MUTT is elected, there won't be a USA for very much longer...

They figure that as soon they regain power, all their critics will be silenced and they will again profit as the only game in town.

Sean Hannity says that journalism is dead. He's right!

I don't think it's so much that they refuse to understand the reasons as that they are so stupidly blind-sided by their socialist agenda that they are actually putting it ahead of their profits. But what I can't understand is if more people are dropping away from the liberal media because it's too media, why are so many going for Obama? Honestly BZ, people just don't make sense!

If Mccain came out tonight and told the American People that he voted NO on the Bailout Bill, he would be the next President.

Plain and simple.

Hmm. If only it were that simple.

It is disgusting how they ooze over his "majesty." It makes me ill. I wrote a few articles over the last couple days highlighting the ignorance and stupidity of the msm and many Americans that are so, so enchanted with that real nobody.

It's not just the "MSM" it's the Bill Maher's and John Stewart's, The View type shows.. hell even the "Hollywood" Insider show is all over Plain. Some morons actually look to these shows as though they are ACTUALLY news.

And ALL of them are heavily skewed left.

It's no different than Saudi Arabia's state news.

Gayle,

You made an assumption, I think, that is, that the polls are actually accurate. Now, granted I live in N. Texas, 90% of the people I know believe Obama would be bad for all of us.

You know what, All? I think we are ALL going to be pleasantly surprised come November 4th -- and a decent deal of it will ride on tomorrow night. Many people anymore don't care much about Obama and McCain; they care about either the success or failure of Sarah Palin.

The great thing about all of this is that there are millions JUST LIKE US who are fully aware of this and hate it. The sad part is that they don't see why their ratings and subscriptions are tanking. They think it is because of the media online now and people have free access to it. Of course that doesn't explain their low ratings on t.v.

Anyway, my point is that most Americans are on the ball, aware and smarter than these people who live in bubbles know.

BZ, what has been bothering me lately is the bias the ALASKA media is demonstrating. The Anchorage Daily News is infamously leftist but they are really pulling all the stops lately in helping to uncover every blemish, real or imagined. I'm frankly disappointed, I had hoped for better.

And isn't that sad, Steve, that Alaskans can't even support their own when it's been proven that she saved Alaskan taxpayers money.

LONERIDER

I live in San Antonio and there are Obama signs all over my subdivision and a few McCain ones. I think many of the McCain supporters are not putting signs up for fear of vandalism. I have not put one up for that reason since I would probably shoot the vandal. HEY, wait a second, I think I will put several up and then shoot the bastards, one less vote for Obams for each one!!!!!!
