  • I will be voting down the line, item by item against the Right-Wing Conservative Religious Born-Again Bush-Bot Fanatics.

I don't want your Religion or my Religion or their Religion anywhere near or in my Government, my Public Schools or my State Policies.

    That's what important to me.

Also, McCain voted for the bail-out, That's Socialism, they both voted for Socialism, that's a fact.

  • I don't know what more to say, Ranando. I don't know what more I can do or suggest. I don't know, given these precise circumstances, what else I can suggest. You either vote for Obama or you vote for McCain. You either vote for a disastrous America under Obama or you vote for a CHANCE that SCOTUS will continue on a given path. Because otherwise, Obama will completely TRASH this nation.

And it won't be pretty for you.

  • What's great about blogs is that we can come back and see what we all said about a McCain or a Obama win.

We will just have to wait and see.

After a year we can come back and see who was right and who was wrong.

    We'll just have to see.

  • Ranando: but here's the deal. I don't believe it's about who's right or wrong; I believe it's about how we can go forwards or how we can go backwards. I try to keep a relatively open mind. A year from now, with an Obama win -- I do NOT believe SCOTUS will survive. But that's just me. And I freely admit that I am biased in one direction.

A year from now? I submit it will be a nation run not necessarily by Obama, but more pointedly by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

Obama isn't that smart or strong.

  • IF you don't do THIS and IF you don't do THAT, YOU just did so and so by voting your conscience....

Let me see if there's a nice way to respond to this....

    Nope...

BULL SHIT!! If you voted, you did your duty, no matter WHO you voted for, and anyone that doesn't believe that is just as bad as the son of a bitch they are trying to keep out of the Oval Office...

If you DON'T vote, then you have no right to gripe but this guy is as big a one way moonbat as the moonbat himself...

  • And Ralf Creevy's bio looks strangely familiar...

  • No big mystery, it's a blog I'll be inhabiting when My Muse hits.

TF: you DID your duty, you voted. We'll just have to leave it at that because, anything further, we'd have to call it vulgar.

  • The author in this article was 'dead on right'. That is all I have to say.

  • BZ, somehow, I expected better from you, of all people...

On Nov 5th, when the numbers come in, IF Obama wins with better numbers than McLame and Barr put together, I am afraid I am going to be in a "You can ALL kiss my ass" mood... And to be really honest with you, I am damn near there now!!

I did NOT stay home, I did NOT vote for Obama, if you find that VULGAR, ask yourself WHY I have that "Kiss my ass" attitude... Opinions, like assholes, so they say, ALL stink... This post is a case in point...

By Blogger TexasFred, at Sun Oct 26, 09:36:00 AM PDT

  • I agree with the article, BZ, and left a comment there. If someone is voting for Ron Paul they may as well not vote at all. Thanks for the link!

  • I am voting to keep Barack Obama out of office.

I am voting for Gov. Palin.

That's it, the best person for the job who is running. Not a communist or a democratic socialist.

There is almost literally no one locally that I *can* support at this point. I have an R that is chummy with Pelosi and likes to visit dictators. How he is *not* a D is beyond me.

And my CRF application is in the mail tomorrow... an old defense is a *good* defense.

  • Fred, that's not what I meant. By vulgar, I meant that it will be OBSCENE if Barack Hussein Obama wins. You voted your conscience; so be it. I had to do the same.

  • As I have said several times as well... I will vote for McCain/Palin.

I love how folks throw "Religion" in the mix..

Let me say this as nice as possible:
IF we had a little MORE Christian religion in schools (Not the extreme version, but the basics like we had when we were in school) WE as a nation would be better off.

While the belief can be challenged, IGNORING it all together as "Fake" or forgetting the teachings in the bible because you don't like some words in it leaves us with out the possibility of GOD in our lives. How's that gone lately? Not well I see.

You keep banging your head against a wall, until we as a nation start putting GOD back in our society we will be headed down the path we are now.

Religious rant? NOPE I believe the Bible offers the best guidelines for people to live. Do I? Not very often I'm afraid... But in the early years of school it might make people think of consequences for poor decisions.

  • Whose God are you talking about?

Your God, My God or their God? Indian God, Jewish God, Muslim God, Hindu God, which one do you want in our schools?

    Which Bible? Which version?

I put Bible thumpers right up there with Gay People, I don't want to hear about it.

  • If Obama wins we are in for a rough ride. I think many rights such as gun ownership are in serious jepardy. The SC could be in even worse shape than you think. He may get a Dem run congress to increase the number of justices thereby putting even MORE libs on it and insuring its stays lib for quite a while.
