Bloviating Zeppelin: Why I Still Like Newt Gingrich

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Why I Still Like Newt Gingrich

Yes, you've seen this video before -- please see it again. Newt simply swept over this reporter; he had no reply and neither did any of Barack Hussein Obama's supporters. This is what we could get with Newt as RNC chairman. Yeah, a lot of you will exclaim NG is "more of the same." I politely disagree. Newt is an educated, scholarly fighter with a great and accomplished knowledge of history. This is not to say that Michael Steele is a poor choice; I simply think Gingrich is better, a "name," and can get people writing checks again which, after all, is incredibly important.

That's IF someone is actually going to write a check...

When they boot the RINOs, it's a maybe, the RNC has got a lot to prove to me, I have never been a Repub, yeah Gayle, I know, I AM DAMNED TO HELL FOR IT, but hey, until the Repubs completely pull their heads out of RINO heaven, I won't support em in ANY way... Sorry BZ...

Bush: yeah, that's part of it, but we have to IDENTIFY them in the OPEN first -- EACH and EVERY one of them, PUBLICLY.

TF: Identifying the RINOs is primary; we ALL need to do that. But there have to be baby steps first.

Well, when they start actually doing it, we can write *baby checks*...

Baby steps is NOT what they need to do BZ, not in MY opinion, there needs to be a serious and MASSIVE remodeling done at RNC, the policies of Bush lost this election, the weakness of the RNC candidate, McLame, lost this election, the fact that many saw McLame to be 'Bush version 3' lost this election and the RINOs led the charge, the 'fall for anything that comes out of the RNC RINOs' is what lost this last election...

The same people that thought Bush was GOD and worshipped him while thousands of troops died because of his inept leadership lost this last election...

IF the RNC doesn't do a 180° turnaround, they will lose it again too, Obama is shaping up to be 'Clinton version 3' and that can and may very well get him a 2nd term in 2012, lets face it, for the last 8 years the RNC has pretty much screwed up everything they have touched, and I know, Obama is going to do the same, but until he screws up worse than Bush and the RNC did, and until such time as the RNC takes over the reigns of leadership by bulling their way back to being CONSERVATIVE, as well as Republican, they still won't get elected as dog catcher...

I bear a lot of animosity towards the RNC, I have NO use for the DNC, but the DNC gives you exactly what you expect them to give, NOTHING...

We had much higher hopes for the Republicans after Reagan but Bush 41 began the demise of the RNC and Bush 43 brought it to a fairly solid conclusion...

The RNC has it's work cut out for it, and if I personally don't see massive changes by 2010 and mid terms, I am telling you right now, I will vote 3rd party, Dem, an occasional Repub, whatever it takes, but I will NOT support the national platform...

The media's made a clown of Newt almost as much as Bush........
Newt helped them, too, a bit, in my opinion.

He's smart, he loves this country, and he's got GREAT ideas, but he can't really go much further than he has and though I think I heard him say he'd run for pres, he's doing important stuff now with the organization he founded.

We need to fix the media..how, I don't know, but we have to STOP the constant anti-conservative drumbeat or NO leader on our side will succeed.

I like Newt as well but I'm not sure he's the one we need. If he can show he would repeat 94 in a plausible manner than by all means.

Shop, not taking issue with YOU, but you mention '94 and a Newt repeat...

It's a lot like baseball, you can be the greatest player alive, win ALL kinds of awards then have a bad spell..

The Owner and Coach look at you and say, "Yeah, you were good, but what have you done lately??"
