(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

End of Story

The Supreme Court of the United States has spoken:

08A407
DONOFRIO, LEO C. V. WELLS, NJ SEC. OF STATE
The application for stay addressed to Justice Thomas and referred to the Court is denied.

This issue, at least with regard to the Donofrio case, is ended.

But, in my opinion, legitimate questions remain.

Why has Barack Hussein Obama spent literally millions of dollars to obfuscate and deter? Why not simply kill those wearing tinfoil hats and proffer the documents, expose those accusing him as frauds and charlatans? This is, on its face, a remarkably easy issue to quash.

Or has an historic and, in truth, shocking precedent been set? And how will this precedent be viewed or, more importantly, interpreted in the future by those seeking higher office with, shall we say, not America's best interest in mind and heart?

This is a very uneasy day and decision for me.

Your thoughts?

The sad part is that some people hate Bush SO FREAKING much that Obama could be a million times worse but they will NEVER admit it.

Perhaps because they are not the frauds and charlatans...

BZ,
I don't know what to think about this. I agree with Fred. At this point we are stuck with him. Hopefully it won't be 'till death do us part', but that is a great quote because if you think about it, he could make it that way by changing term limits. I would think that would be impossible, but stranger things have happened.

ON a side note, I think Obama is a socialist and always will be, however I don't think he is going to make it obvious at first and we can see this via the fact that he is making the left mad right now. Just give him time. He will seize the moment if we are brought to our knees fiscally and in foreign affairs. It is when we are at our lowest, he will introduce socialism as the answer, but it will be a 'slow fade' a slow 'deception'. We are already heading that way with these bailouts. People don't realize that govt. takeovers of private business' is socialism.

The governments rules in this auto bailout basically curbs what the CEO's get paid. THAT is SOCIALISM. They are in effect taking over these auto companies and the trickle down effect of that will only get worse. Their hands will get deeper into the business' and it will become completely govt. owned and run.

Fred,

If you think you were wrong about me because I supported any and all efforts you ever undertook than so be it. Your radio show, your friends at the deli, Donald Douglas, Iraq, Bush, what ever it was I was there; all you had to do is ask.

Your right, I’m not a Conservative, nor a Liberal; I’m an American first and foremost.

And of course, everyone realizes the automakers WILL likely receive their cash; Congress appears to have made that perfectly clear. I think that, in order to lessen the PR impact, they're going to parse out the case, a smaller chunk up front -- the Big 3 will return for their other chunks later.

As you say, BZ, the automakers will get their bailout. Will it even make a difference in the end? Not if they don't drastically change the way they are operating.

As for this decision by the Supreme Court, I'm shocked and truly disappointed, and it's a decision that is beyond my comprehension. I really feel as if I'm living in the twilight zone. How can we accept him as the president when we don't even know if he is a legitamate born United States citizen?

"Hopefully it won't be 'till death do us part'"

He has 2 very good insurance policies to make sure that doesnt happen. Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi. If for no other reason than those 2 I hope he lives thru the term.

I see no way this law suit takes away an Obama presidency. IF it did, the riots, and destruction would be epic. Not that it's a real bad thing, sometimes a little revolution is a good thing.

As far as this little diddy by Ranando "Anything and I mean anything will be better than what we have had for the past 8 years."

Now that just shows your blind hatred for a man that GAVE 8 years of his life for his country..

History may smile on GWB, for several things, but it will take TIME to see if his gambles paid off. A good leader gives his team what they need, not necessarily what they want...

We have a recession, largely created PRIOR to BUSH with the subprimes. WE have a deficit, LARGELY due to inaction of Democrats in the 90's that allowed 9-11-2001 to occur, Bush's cabinet was the MOST diverse in the history of the office, MORE millionaires were created during his terms than any other, There was NO terrorist attacks on our soil since 2001.

Now if I had 2 more web pages to talk about the shit I disagree with him on and an hour to do it, I would,. but it would be saying it again and again...NOT HELPFUL
Bush is DONE, he did his terms and he did what he thought was right... NEXT.

Obama will get exactly the respect Bush got from day 1, the fraud, cheater and conspiracy theories can resume as planned. Pay back is a bitch.
