Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Tuesday, In Consideration of Monday

"Snow Day." Again. Such it is with Life. At least in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

When the snow came down on everything Sunday night and continued into early Monday, the writing was on the proverbial wall. It was a Snow Day. But moreover, a "Global Warming" Snow Day because, after all, it can be not only too hot to indicate Global Warming -- it can now be too cold -- it's Global Warming.

So I called in "Global Warming" to work. And when my ass hurts and my back stings because I shoveled all my "non-existent snow" (due to Global Warming, of course) off my deck, I suppose I should just chalk it up to: Global Warming!

Isn't it con-veeeee-nient, as the Church Lady says. Global Warming, during the winter, just happens to fall onto the rather resplendant altar of the Leftists. They categorically state they have no religion but, of course, you and I know that they do.

I can temporarily update on the internet (though I still can't get my car out), so here's a photo of yesterday. I also just watched a resident try to get up the hill in their front wheel drive car, which stalled. Looks like her husband came to the rescue in an older, heavy 4X4 pickup and towed her up the hill.

I got the car dug out -- somewhat. I may try to get up the hill later today. Still no plow-truck.

The religion of global warming is alive and well. They bought Al Gore's crap hook, line and sinker. Now they're desperately trying to justify their position. Good luck, suckers...

Yeah, it is too cold because of Global warming. The weather is going to extremes now because I haven't changed my lightbulbs and now we are heading for an 'ice age'!! What a bunch of psychos!

I had an idiot that wanted to take ME to task, told me, "It's supposed to be cold, it's winter"...

I not so nicely reminded him that I am in Texas, it's 18° and winter is still several days off...

He got pissed off because I happened to mention that Algore was a MORON...

" I happen to have lived in Texas and Texas doesn't get snow and ice"...

Oh yeah?? tell that to the 191 drivers that had wrecks on it yesterday PM and the over 100 so far today, here in Dallas county...

I hate MORONS...

We don't have too much snow the moment in my neck of the woods, but boy is it cold!

I wish Algore was right. We could use some global warming.

It is freezing and it was a snow day here for us as well. So much for Gore's global warming...

I just heard on Bill O'Reilly's show tonight that somewhere in Massachusetts they were complaining about Christmas lights contributing to global warming. Turns out they were just grinches who didn't like Christmas. Unbelievable!!

Made it down the hill anyway, late yesterday afternoon. I'm old enough and wise enough to know when I can/can't do something without hurting myself unnecessarily. My back ain't what it used to be 10 years ago.

BZ, Your back problems are because of global warming. You see:

Because of all the styrofoam you have in your house, it is causing atmospheric changes in your own home! But it gets worse. The plastics form as a toxic conduit that is amplified because you did not have the right pressure in your tires.

The lower height of your vehicles prevented the proper airflow that could have allowed the toxins to evacuate your premises. Plus, your old truck has been a burden on nature and nature is fighting back.

The toxins that you are pushing into nature are going into the pipelines and out of the faucets in your home. And those non-efficient light bulbs that are not eco-friendly are emitting radioactive waves that are stimulating the unstable isotopes in your water supply.

so, you are consuming this tainted water which destroys you internally. Also, you are bathing with this which is affecting you externally.

All of this could have been prevented if you would have just chosen to be a liberal!

Note how they refuse to call it global warming now, for the very reason that it's getting colder, they've decided to call it climate change. That way, any weather change and they get to blame it on man.

Good on you for referring to it as global warming, this is how the left set the terms of debate and most out there are happy to allow them to do this, we must call them on it every single time, that's what they called it at first.

Hope you make it through the cold ok.

There has been a house for sale on Haystack Hill, right across the creek from our place but up 800 feet or so, stunning views. Goldfish and I keep thinking about it as we would both get local hire pay increases that would about cover the mortgage but when the weather outside is frightful, that 100 yard walk to work from company housing is so delightful . . . not sure if I want to give it up. Looks like you got dumped on BZ!
