Ladies And Gentlemen:

I'm busy at work cleaning out the office and wrapping up various issues; I likely won't be posting for a day or two. It's pretty amazing how much stuff one accumulates and how much stuff there is to trash over a period of about six years.

  1. Sorry to hear of your job demotion. Good to hear that you still have some sort of position. we are retired and live in Canada, for which I am so very thankful. Hard on the family to be demoted or lose a job. Hang in there, we are pulling for you. But man, it is still a long time before those next elections come along. Good luck to you and yours.

  4. Now you are going to leave a fish wrapped in newspaper in the bottom left drawer (locked, of course), right?

  8. BZ,
Take your time, and do what you need to do.

We'll be here when you return.

BTW, I've been where you are right now. Back in 1997, I had to leave my place of employment of 18 years. It took me days to clean out my "stuff."

  9. You are going to be fine because you are a fighter and not a whiner. You'll make it. So sorry to hear about it though.

  10. BZ - just think of the next office, maybe with a corner window, looking out to mountain peaks, or on a lake... or something, that might be in your future. Just keep dreaming cause it makes dreams come true.

  11. In much the same boat but for different reasons... finally a drug has been released that is going after the worst effects of my catalepsy. It is a major change in energy levels and attention span... I have put off too much since early 2005 due to lack of those things. Now I must play catch-up... hard days ahead, but finally I can actually start putting some plans into my daily schedule.

Mind you the FDA sat on this due to its LABEL for over a year... gotta love how a proven, safe and effective medication can wait for an idiotic LABEL to be approved by the FDA.
