(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Mr Obama: A Massive, Unprecedented, Unrestrained Budgetary Screw-Up

The Truth finally had to come out.

Mr Obama and the MSM hinted around the issue when it was discovered the projected US deficit wasn't $7 trillion -- it was $9 trillion. Shucks. Just a little error.

WASHINGTON – The federal government faces exploding deficits and mounting debt over the next decade, White House officials predicted Tuesday in a fiscal assessment far bleaker than what the Obama administration had estimated just a few months ago.

Figures released by the White House budget office foresee a cumulative $9 trillion deficit from 2010-2019, $2 trillion more than the administration estimated in May. Moreover, the figures show the public debt doubling by 2019 and reaching three-quarters the size of the entire national economy.

Let's review, shall we?

Former President Bush signed off on the first TARP in 2008. Shame on his ass. That's just one point; I won't go into the rest.

However, in the late -90s the bulk of the Demorats just literally INSISTED that people whom EVERYone knew couldn't re-pay were provided loans for homes that they couldn't afford.

Once that gate was opened, the Greed Was On. Blame should be placed on BOTH sides: the BUYERS (who knew, in their hearts, that the loan provided was bullshit) and the SELLERS (who mades cash from minimal backgrounds and were incentivized by the Fed).

The current arrogance of the Obama Administration is beyond astounding.

"Money is the Mother's Milk of politics." -- Jesse Unruh, Fornicalia

The Obama Administration spent BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars on so-called "stimulus."

And NO ONE can account for this money.

And Americans didn't seem to much care.

Then.

Until, months later, NOTHING POSITIVE seems to be occurring.

The "stimulus" PROMISED by Mr Obama?

There is NO stimulus. There are only your hard-earned tax dollars pissed away. 20,000 checks going to dead persons in the "stimulus"?

Not just thousands.

Not just hundreds of thousands.

Not just millions.

Not just billions.

But Mr Obama's "Little Mistake" encompasses TRILLIONS of dollars.

Where is your OUTRAGE?

Where is your DEMAND for ACCOUNTABILITY?

Where is the Obama Administration's acquiescensce to the Truth?

And -- on top of this -- Obama wants to CONTINUE to spend money he doesn't have and to lay the debt upon your children's children's children.

That is, if they deign to continue to procreate.

ObamaKare. Cap & Tax. Illegal Immigrant AMNESTY.

Those are Mr Obama's Job One.

I only ask You one question:

WHO, in our country, is the ONLY source of cash?

Is it the City? Is it the County? Is it the State?

NO!

It is you.

The American Taxpayer.

YOU fund this nation and -- when demanded -- the WORLD.

HARDER WORK -- and MORE OF IT!

Millions of lazy people demanding their entitlements depend on you.

This is a Crisis of Leadership -- or , actually, a LACK therof.

Mr Obama no more has any viable idea of how to conduct this nation than he has a viable idea of how to program his DVR.

P.S.
Ted Kennedy died. I wonder what he'll say now to Mary Jo?

And, TF -- NO ONE -- and I repeat -- NO ONE -- seems to be holding him ACCOUNTABLE for the BILLIONS and BILLIONS and TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS spent.

Yes.

We.

Are.

well BZ, as an Army Infantry veteran, we had a few cuts we had to make in our unit in order to please the upper brass. we, as well as the rest of the military and the DOD, had to go without necessary equipment so the morons in DC can spend our cash some other way. it is shameful these people are telling us to tighten our wallets as they spend more.
is it possible to go back to the gold standard? and how are we going to PAY BACK all of this money to other countries? it seems like a bad dream, and TF was right, its just getting started and even if we vote him out of office, the Gipper stated that the only thing close to eternal life is a govt program.

a pretty good reason why govt programs, state and some counties too, don't go away, is because they have most of their workforce vested, and in order for them to be fired or laid-off will take an act of God. that's why they can't end programs. the people pretty much have a guarentee to have and keep their job. they do that to keep workers, be it lazy or not.

and how is it we can have career politicians? if a president can only be elected to 2 terms, shouldn't everyone else be in the same boat? isn't that sort of a dictatorship in and among itself? the congress?

BZ,
I agree with the point made by TF. Once money is fiat, it doesn't matter anymore. When we went off the gold standard in 71, under Nixon, now there's a real conservative for you, it was game on in spending money.

There's not much of a leap when it comes to spending money when you print it at will and nobody and I mean nobody, checks your spending.

This isn't about health care, it's a straight out power grab by a group of a**holes who think they know more than we do.

It's time for We the People to take back power.

Chris: and so? Did you do without water at night? So you would wake up in the morning parched? Did you do without a few bullets in the magazines of your rifles because fewer attacks came at night? Or did you do without lights at night so you couldn't see your way into the latrines?

LOT: I concur. Money doesn't mean SHIT to Obama.

An excellent post.

This morning, the lead story in the WaPo blares, "Deficit Projected To Soar With New Programs." Kennedy didn't die early enough for the WaPo to tank that headline in favor of going on and on about the passing of "The Lion of the Senate." Heh.

However, now that Kennedy is gone, that's all the news is going to cover for days upon days. The whitewash of Kennedy's career is on -- not a single mention of Chappaquiddick until 1.5 hours into CBS Morning News today. It's going to be a minor point, of course. And in a few days, I imagine that BHO will give the eulogy at the funeral. Pffft!

Now, why don't Americans show outrage about BHO's lying about this looming deficit? Well, for one reason, many of us are scrambling financially. In this household, we save and saved -- and lived off the interest from those savings. Well, look at the interest rates on savings now! 1%? Incredible! At the same time, my number of clients is down, and Mr. AOW cannot find a full-time job. We've obtained expensive private health-insurance, with a monthly premium we can barely pay. This household is caught in a squeeze. Thank God we don't have a mortgage payment or we'd be sunk.

In order to hold this administration responsible, the mainstream media have to harp on the issue. Is that going to happen? I think not.

Furthermore, we have at least two generations of Americans who have bought into the idea of various entitlements, all of which are on the backs of the taxpayers, of course.

Things are going to have to get worse before the American people as a whole come to their senses. If they ever do. So many have to seem a form of political ADD.

Texas Fred,
I briefly looked at the site Oath Keepers. Mr. AOW is a veteran, and I'll show the site to him.

Mr. AOW is typically not much interested in politics. But now that he bartends part-time at the VFW, he's picking up more on political matters.

A Democrat removed the old and corrupt National Bank system citing that putting such power into the hands of politicians and their followers was not only open to abuse of the public treasury but was being abused. Then a Democrat recreated that system in the Federal Reserve, but made sure it didn't need to get re-authorized at any point.

Now we find ourselves with the economy the plaything of the Incumbistani Political Class: abuses under one party continue on another and then are sustained on passing it back again, over and over and over again. Yet the idea that political appointees would NOT be open to partisan corruption or just lining their own pockets without re-authorization seems to have been missed by the modern Left and Right.

Then we put the housing system together with lots of brown-nosing political friends. THAT would never be open to abuse, now, would it? Nor would they EVER lobby Congress to make them more powerful by RELAXING regulations on them...not ever! Save that they did, of course, do that.

Medicare/Medicaid? Heading towards bankruptcy and insolvency because the federal government SOLVED the problem with that, right? SSN actually SOLVED the problem of poor elderly, save that it is nearly out of cash and will be insolvent taking money from general taxes within a year or two. Those are such wonderful SOLUTIONS, no?

Corruptocrats at the Fed and FHM systems.

Medical 'assistance' that has only jacked up the price, made the system more confusing and now threatens to go bankrupt.

Social 'security' that threatens the financial security of the Nation because no one will put the retirement age up around 72 or 73... or deeply means test the program... or even question if it is wise to remove the 'burden' of one needing to lead a good and productive life to HAVE a retirement. Can't ask THOSE questions or you are a MEANIE.

Now these same folks want to put in a 'health care reform' that does not SOLVE the problem because government can't SOLVE the problem at all? There is no SOLUTION to the rising cost of health care save to stop subsidizing it, enact tort reform, and have people shoulder the burden so they understand its TRUE cost and don't just pass the bill on to an insurance company or to the government which is our funds for the Nation going to help someone who should be looking after themselves? That isn't the government's role, it is our role as CITIZENS. Amendment IX and X: we reserve that to ourselves, we do not give it to the federal government.

When these 'compassionate' liberals and conservatives actually demonstrate that they understand how government works and why it is the most horrific place to vest things like health care and retirement, I might just listen to them. Instead they live in a faerie land of certainty that government will DO A GOOD JOB when every indicator is in the opposite direction.

That deficit and National debt is paying for people who are stuck on stupid on the idea that government can do good directly. They are, unfortunately, living in an unreal world that doesn't exist and we PAY for that DELUSION. Time to pull the money tube on these junkies and addicts of pipe dreams wanting to live as 5 year olds forevermore at great cost to the public.

If government can't do a job that it wasn't given in the first place then it should give it back and say: Sorry, can't figure out how to do it, it is better off with the people directly. But that is radical, these days. Probably revolutionary in a few more months. And the loving left? They are the supports of the old ideas now... the retrograde ones...

Gotta love that.

Save for the coming cost.

For that I mourn for my Nation and her people. But I am under no illusions that long lasting and equitable peace can not be bought without a bloody civil sword. And it is always the 'nice' ones who start the bloodshed and thuggery these days... how unfortunate... for them.

AlwaysOnWatch, they have mentioned Chappaquidick in some articles about Kennedy...as if it's Republicans who just couldn't let that go and destroyed his chances of the presidency. Unreal. But, who doubted THAT would happen?

As for Obama.......if we had a media that actually WORKED, all of this would NOT be happening (but, of course, he'd not have been elected, either)

BZ,

On the main post: Yup, yup, and AMEN!

On Mary Jo: Taking nothing away from Teddy's guilt, she was with him of her own free will. She worked for his campaign. Like a woman who associates with a drug dealer or a bank robber, she may not have been guilty, but she chose her companion and paid the price.

BZ...we actually were told to put 2 less rounds in our mag. Every other soldier got NVG's. Water was plentiful, but diesel fuel was a commodity, so there were less supply trucks bringing us goods. I understand as an infantryman there are large amounts of shitty times and we have to make due without, but if u are already running on fumes, what is there to take away? we had to run less Strykers and Bradleys because of the fuel during training because of the cost. The Army was always known for training their soldiers in the most realistic scenerio possible. Not anymore. Instead of carrying our weapons we had to carry around dummy ones on a road march, to help control the cost of weapon cleaning kits. Thank you Clinton!!!!!! Oh, and why did he fire 25percent or more of our military again? This has got to stop.

As someone who wouldn't be caught dead with a Kennedy man, I can see your point, but... it doesn't excuse him from not trying to get her out of the car when he got himself out. Rather a narcissistic response I would say, but it was very telling about his overall character. That is why most normal people couldn't bring themselves to vote for the man.

How would American veterans ever be able to vote for a man who demonstrates that he will never have anyone elses six??? That character flaw doesn't engender confidence in leaders. The people in Mass just have to be a few bricks short of a load. They keep voting in that lying, coward John Kerry as well.
