(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Let's Talk About Van Jones: Ten Important Points

1. It would appear our illustrious Green Jobs Czar, Mr Van Jones (he of the stellar and unimpeachable character), took time off, prior to his appointment, to record a very popular CD hosted by Mumia Abu-Jamal entitled WARTIMES: Reports From The Opposition.

This runaway success, on Mr Jones's "Freedom Fighter Music" label, was unearthed on Weasel Zippers via Free Republic:

Van Jones, Barack Obama's Green Jobs Czar, produced a record album entitled "WarTimes: Reports from the Opposition" a few years ago that was narrated by convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal and featured a clip of an interview Jones did where he slammed the United States and Israel and proclaimed his stand with a "global struggle" against the United States. Jones used his Ella Baker Center for Human Rights to found Freedom Fighter Music, the label WarTimes appeared on. WarTimes is also the name of an anti-war-on-al-Qaeda propaganda newspaper Jones helped organize.

The album was unearthed by the website Verum Serum, which posted a YouTube video with highlights of the album.

About three minutes forty-five seconds in to the highlight video, there is a brief interview with Van Jones at an anti-Israel demonstration where Jones criticizes Israel and calls for Palestinian 'right of return' then unloads on the United States:

"We see violence against poor people and poor people of color within the U.S. border, at the U.S. border, and beyond the U.S. border and you see U.S. tax dollars funding all of it. And so we have this now global struggle against the U.S. led security apparatus and military agenda that impacts people here and impacts people around the world and I think that we need to see our problems as linked."

Mumia closes out the album by describing it as a "small tease of the truth about U.S. imperialism's war on the world."

2. Mr Jones could quite potentially have a great deal to do with Our Hero's Cap & Tax campaign.

3. Unfortunately, Mr Jones has a bit of a potty-mouth, as he called Republicans "assholes" during a February energy conference in Oakland. Video is here.

4. Jones is an avowed communist:

Speaking to the East Bay Express, Jones said he first became radicalized in the wake of the 1992 Rodney King riots, during which time he was arrested.

"I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th," he said. "By August, I was a communist.

"I met all these young radical people of color – I mean really radical: communists and anarchists. And it was, like, 'This is what I need to be a part of.' I spent the next 10 years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary," he said.

Trevor Loudon, a researcher and opponent of communism who runs the New Zeal blog, identified several Bay Area communists who worked with STORM, including Elizabeth Martinez, who helped advise Jones' Ella Baker Human Rights Center, which Jones founded to advocate civil justice. Jones and Martinez also attended a "Challenging White Supremacy" workshop together.

5. The Obama White House isn't saying much about the learned and rational Mr Jones.

6. Nice job of Mr Jones portraying former President Bush on crack. Sterling work, sir, such a professional individual you are! A cut above!

7. Mr Jones says that "only suburban white kids" shoot up schools. Imagine that. And apparently only black kids shoot up black kids. LOTS of black kids. Huh. Must be genetic. Note to self: look into this.

8. There is already a call for Mr Jones to resign. Frankly, I'm surprised it's coming from an actual Republican:

Rep. Mike Pence, the no. 3 Republican in the House, is calling on Obama green jobs czar Van Jones to resign.

This sort of thing would usually be laughed off by Democrats -- a conservative Republican telling a Democratic appointee to quit.

But the Obama team isn't exactly jumping to back Jones today in wake of revelations that in the past he signed on to one of the "truther" groups that claimed 9/11 was an inside job. Oh, and he called Republicans a**holes in a video earlier this year before he was appointed.

9/11Truth.org spokesman Mike Berger told the Washington Times over the phone that all of the signers had been verified by their group. He said 9/11Truth.org board members “spoke with each person on the list by phone or through email or individually confirm they hae added their name to that list.”

“I think in most cases they spoke to them personally,” he added. “No one’s name was put on that list without them knowing it.”

Dammit. I hate it when facts get in the way of a good Communist, Socialist Racist like Mr Jones.

I already wrote about Our Miss Jones last Tuesday.

Mr Obama has, apparently, in his own learned and scholarly life, never heard of a phrase similar to "you are judged by the company you keep."

. . . though you might dare to posit that this is nothing more than common sense which, as Glenn Beck points out, isn't much common anymore.

10. Common sense? And wondering why the DEM/MSM is tanking across the nation? How about this salient little factoid you won't read anywhere else (via Byron York of The Washington Examiner):

From a Nexis search a few moments ago:

Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the New York Times: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the Washington Post: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on NBC Nightly News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on ABC World News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on CBS Evening News: 0.

If you were to receive all your news from any one of these outlets, or even all of them together, and you heard about some sort of controversy involving President Obama's Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, your response would be, "Huh?"

And all this in the light of:

- Unemployment at a 26-year high;
- Approval ratings for Congress at a 24 year low;

Das Hopenchange. How's that working out for you, Mr Obama?

BZ

P.S.
Why is it that our Mr Jones cannot seem to locate a beautiful, strong, classically-sculpted African female with which to form his ideal bond? How and/or why does he find black females apparently lacking for his close personal relationship and breeding purposes? Why are his private, personal choices seemingly not in keeping with his public persona and support? How many powerful, solid, aware, supportive, strident, vocal, gorgeous sisters did he purposely ignore in order to make and finalize his familial choice? She is clearly one Lilly-White chick. Does this somehow not seem conflicting to you? She may be an UberPolitik choice. But how does this choice make you feel?

CBS news said: "He [Van Jones] took a bullet for his boss."

Let's hope the next bullet finds Van Jones' former boss.

Why these people who make it to the highest position in the land make such stupid mistakes is beyond me.

Glad he's gone, that was a bad choice.

As far as who this asshat married, doesn't matter to me. I have many friends that have married outside their race.

Good morning defenders of the Constitution and Glenn Beck. Great news about the coward Van Jones and his resignation. As my Mom used to say "Good riddance to bad rubbish". I do think he will continue as an advisor to Mr. Obama. He'll just fly under the radar. On another note, I think it's time to mount a campaign to let the other "news" organizations know what we think of their refusal to cover the controversies in the White House. Their silence on the issues covered by Glenn is deafening and tells us everything we need to know. Have a great day all.

Democrats are freaking crazy, but as you note from his San Francisco perch, this is the typical West Coast Liberalspeak - and it's the language of intellectual 8th Grade bullies.

Whether a Black man marries a White woman or not makes no matter...but when a Black man THIS angry at Whites does, THAT is the curiosity.

Odd that his website doesn't mention he helped found STORM..which is REAL tough to Google and one site I saw was some computer WARNING! WOW, when the WH wants things protected, GOogle obeys, BZ.
Great piece here..very comprehensive..thanks for that info.
I hope you come see what I wrote on him...a slightly different angle.

Good point Z, and I would agree. Malcolm X at least demonstrated his new found beliefs (mixing races weakened the black man) by finding a strong black female to marry and have children with. With this man's hatred for whites in our society, this comes across as an oxymoron.

All the lamestream media are talking about the 9/11 Truther aspect. Hose same media aren't touching any of the other of the points in this post. Of course.

The last time I checked, CNN wasn't even reporting on the resignation of Van Jones. That figures. CNN stands for "Communist News Network."

Just show's how a nation of quivering morons attack someone highly educated because of fear mongering from the likes of a moron (Glenn Beck) to thwart their own progress as a nation. And it's all racial.

He has resigned and it appears to be a bigger blow to Obama than I thought it would be. As far as him marrying a white woman, any woman of any color who would marry a communist of any color is no prize for anyone.

A communist, supporter of a cop killer, racial demagogue that can't 'walk the walk', and wanted to use a position to change the entire Nation's infrastructure to the ends of overthrowing the system. Yes the FBI did a 'background check' on him, but how, the hell, did they miss those things? The guy would have been unable to get a SECRET clearance from that background, but he passes FBI questioning? WTF?

Each of those is an immediate disqualification from having anything to do with the upper reaches of government outside of elected positions. Remember the bozos that are elected have a 'Right to Know' about anything they want to stick their noses into...their 'vetting' is in their States and Districts. Van Jones was not elected and needs a clearance to step into the WH to work... and as the President is also the highest classification authority by statute, going around 'the bureaucracy' requires one man, and one man only to authorize that under any Administration: the President. Even then the statutes can wind him up in deep kimchee for neglect of duty...that is why the WH claims incompetence, as it gets them away from willful neglect of duty.

The dems never vetted Obama so is it a surprise he didn't vet any of his picks? How many people have had to step down or aside in the last 7 months????

What I find funny about the Obama phenomenon and people like Jones is that they are portrayed as brilliant minds.

Obama is barely able to speak other than to mutter uh um and ah's sans teleprompter and the best Jones could do it call Republicans assholes. Not brilliant.

Ranando: me too and that's precisely my point. My wife is Mexican. But I don't predicate my entire life around WHITE WHITE WHITE, the WHITES are horribly and insanely REPRESSED, I'm nothing but an ADvocate for WHITES, it's ALL about the WHITES -- and, oh yeah, my wife is Mexican.

Who CARES who he married -- ? and God bless him for his choice, it's a free world; UNLESS your ENTIRE UNIVERSE revolves around BLACK BLACK BLACK BLACK.

That gets SO damned tiring. And, quite frankly, UNnecessary.
