Bloviating Zeppelin: Justice Stevens To Retire

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Justice Stevens To Retire

Mr Obaka will get his chance to make a SCOTUS appointment:

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens says he "will surely" retire while President Barack Obama is still in office, giving the president the opportunity to maintain the high court's ideological balance.

Do you think the GOP will be able to muster any kind of thorough investigation and vetting into their pick?

I think you can answer that one yourself.

Who will be his newest pick.
Will it be another wise Latina?
Perhaps Lady Ga Ga?

As long as he doesn't get to replace a conservative. When that happens I will really start to worry.

In better times, I've said that whoever controls education and SCOTUS controls the nation.

So you know where SCOTUS is going. . .

Maybe Congress will be so wrapped up in replacing Stevens that they'll be too busy to go through with Cap and Trade, or illegal immigrant amnesty. At least we can hope for a silver lining.

I still plan on posting from your comment at Malcontent's blog, but just posted a question on my blog that I want some people to answer before it moves down on the page...

Who knows, other than the pick will be as far left as they think they can get away with... sigh...

NFO: and just how are cohesive is the GOP regarding their ability to unify in questioning potential candidates, or shall they go "Good Doggie" on Mr Obaka?

As long as he's replace one libeal with another there's no reason to get upset.

Hopefully the consevative voices on the bench will stick around until January, 2013...

His pick should be a simple choice.

Bill Ayers.

The guy needs a real job, yaknow?

Never get past the Senate, but that hasn't stopped Obama in nominating people so far. Really surprised that Ayers isn't a Czar of some sort... so he must be waiting in the wings for something important.
