The Federal Government: Working AGAINST States On The Spill

Can you believe this?

How difficult would it have been to round up thirty fire extinguishers, and some life vests and allow the barges to keep doing their jobs?

Yes, ladies and gentlemen. See my prior post.

The purpose here is political.

The purpose is to bankrupt this country, change it markedly, oppress you, enslave the electorate and eliminate capitalism.

Make no mistake.

  • Der Fuhrer has let this happen to advance his agenda. He has had plenty of help. EVERYONE of these people need to be held accountable. Will they?

  • I don't know about you, BZ, but my friends and I've been emailing news articles for the last few days and asking ourselves IS THIS AMERICA? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
EVERY single day, it's "what do I blog NOW? there's SO MUCH horrible stuff going on, who can decide?"

Jindal must be at the end of his rope and HE SHOULD SUE SOMEBODY! they are working against THE PEOPLE! GEEESH!!

By Blogger Z, at Thu Jun 17, 09:50:00 PM PDT

  • Jindal got ON the problem from the very beginning. Why? Because HIS state was on the line! Jobs of PEOPLE in HIS state! BP BP BP BP, right right right. BP is responsible.

But because there's an accident in an intersection directly in front of my face, people are injured, I don't just shout to the occupants: "Hey, you need to SUE!"

I get my ass out there and see if I can possibly HELP.

  • This shouldn't surprise anyone. The Feds have been working against the states for some time. Dare ask yourself how it is that the Feds can regulate the sale and purchase of firearms and ammunition of citizens within the same state?

  • And now there is a move afoot to have Hillary and Joe Biden change places... sigh...

  • Can I believe it?

    Yes. Yes I can.

    And that's the problem

  • Toaster: no.

Soapster: because they say they can, not one state has said "no," and the final decision on paper is with SCOTUS.

NFO: are you KIDDING me? I have not heard of this! Do you have sources?

cj: have YOU heard of that?

You tell me where in the Constitution it states that the Federal Government has the authority to regulate intrastate commerce.

  • That's the point. That's the 10th amendment. They don't care. They're just going to DO it and remain unchallenged.

  • At the risk of sounding like a broken record...
If this administration were actively trying to destroy this country from every front, could they do a better job?

The first domino is teetering. Are you ready for the chain-reaction to start?

  • Anyone, up to and including the man-child in Chief, that is screaming SUE at this point is an IDIOT!

The most important thing right now is stopping the oil flow... Litigation can follow at some point in the future...

By Blogger TexasFred, at Fri Jun 18, 11:04:00 AM PDT

  • Seeing the feds work on something like this oil spill is, as the old saying goes, like watching a "Chinese Fire Drill". They each are so afraid of doing something wrong, so the easiest way is to do nothing! Das Fed ist Kaput!

  • Gutless wonders - the whole bunch. The attitude is, "What's good for my career is what's good for the country."

  • What gets me are those worrying about the shrimping and fishing industries and the jobs with them. In LA there are 13 petroleum industry jobs for every 1 in the fishing and shrimping industries.

And this insansity is going after ALL OF THEM.

  • Obama is not stupid. When I hear people say he is 'in over his head' he isn't. He knows exactly where he wants to take our country. The stupid part is that he won't get re-elected because he is pushing socialism through at break neck speed. But then again he may have something else up his sleeve to ensure another four years or more. Who knows, but most
socialist leaders don't give up their spot easily.
