(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Sarah Palin: Mixed Or NO Messages

Sarah Palin went on a recent whirlwind tour in the Sarah Palin tour-bus the past Memorial Day weekend.

For what reason?

When one customarily takes off in this fashion, it clearly means that one is running for some kind of office. Sarah Palin has announced nothing, yet we find her in some kind of obvious Campaign Mode.

Campaign Mode for what?

No one knows. Does she know? She isn't saying.

Oddly enough, Politico.com (and I'm not a fan of Politico these days) nails it when they write:

Day 2 of Sarah Palin’s bus tour, and the former vice presidential nominee has prompted little more than confusion over exactly what she is up to.

Though Fox News captured Palin saying, as she got off the bus at one stop, that she thought a Republican could beat President Barack Obama in next year’s election, she has done little to encourage belief that the trip is a precursor to a 2012 run of her own.

“This isn’t a campaign bus,” Palin said, according to reports. “This is a bus to be able to express to America how much we appreciate our foundation and to invite more people to be interested in all that is good about America and to remind ourselves we don’t need to fundamentally transform America, we need to restore what’s good about America.”

Hello?

If you're not running, then what are you doing? And for whom are you raising money? You don't have SarahPAC for nothing.

Initially, I liked Palin's guts. I admired her stance. But the more I got to know her and then examine her path, the less I had to admire. When she stepped away from the governorship of one of the easiest states in the Union to control -- for her family -- I knew that she simply wasn't Presidential material. Because if she couldn't wrestle in the political mud of a lesser state, then she was hopelessly outmatched on a national level for President.

You can or will either gut the intestines of your opponents or you won't. Politics is that way.

Further, though she speaks an initial good line, I began to examine what she really brought to the table. And I submit that she has done little, if anything, to increase her broader knowledge of history and/or world affairs.

She thinks too small. And she shows me no interest in large-scale learning.

In the meantime, whilst she conducts bus tours, I ask again: why is she doing this and why hasn't she announced and -- further -- if she isn't a candidate then where is the money she raises going?

While I don't think this Woman would be a top choice for President, I have to wonder why she can't seem to do anything without drawing criticism, hell, if she breathes, someone, usually a talking head on TV throws an absolute wall-eyed fit. why?
what's wrong cheerleading conservative principles?
Obama got elected cheerleading liberal principles, which is being dissatisfied with the world and your life and chanting for hope n change. as whining is considered the most noble thing one can do in his circles. don't have a problem with anyone who might point out that individual freedom is better than some socialistic narcissistic new world order.

one other thing to consider about running for any office these days. people with families DO have to consider their families wishes, safety, and well being. the absolute anal exam a candidate and even the candidates family gets by the press nowadays is far beyond what should be expected. this keeps more than a few good people from running for office, anyone left willing to go though that process has to have a few screws loose upstairs. so we get nothing but nutjobs running for office now, why? because that seems to be what we want. most want someone who will entertain them, not any kind of strong leader.

Allen West made a very good point the other day on C-SPAN.
He basically said "You don't need to let the enemy fix your artillery before the battle" Right now there's a lot of positioning, some are going drop off some are going get on. Palin right now is doing a very very good thing. She knows what happened to her in 08. The entire Republican field knows what's coming. The MSM is staked in Obama's camp. The Obama LIBERALS are going to fund his ruinous run. Sorros and his pals are going to demonize the front runner. FACTS.

So the longer the R's can go without a "Leader" for them to attack, the progressive message appears unorganized and more of a snipe operation. Palin has the big boys in the media all a flutter and they are hanging on her every word. That's great... Keep up the distraction for now.

One thing I like is, ALL OF THEM have the same basic message, repeal obamacare, lower taxes and get government off our backs all why BASHING Obama at every turn. A unified message is being played no matter WHO the person is. That's GOOD.

Right now, the MSM is having to snipe, nit pick and flail away for stories on Palin and in doing so is missing several gaffs that every campaign has... Funny Stuff.

If you're not going to believe what the woman tells you, what's the point of asking the questions?

She's explained why she resigned and it was only in part due to her family.

She's explained the bus tour.

She has a pac to help other conservative candidates who believe in the same things she believes in.

If I thought you were really interested in learning about her beliefs and values I'd suggest you go read her posts on FB, where she explains her beliefs and values.

I'm sorry, but I see it as a "vaginal" exercise.
It's a female thing to be mysterious in their actions at times.
It will kill any chance of me voting for her.

It was the lawsuits, all of them frivolous, which was the reason she resigned. They were breaking her, they were an inordinate expense on state resources, and were making it impossible for her to govern-all of which was the intended effect.

Most people don't realize, Sarah Palin had, and has, three major enemies, and she has had them from day one. They are-

1. The Democratic Party
2. The Mainstream Media
3. The Republican Party

That last is all inclusive. It's not just the state Alaska GOP and the Murkowski clique, which is arguably the most corrupt political machine since Boss Tweed. It's also the national Republican Party establishment. That bunch doesn't give a shit whether they beat Obama or not. It would be nice, but as long as they keep their piece of the pie and maybe get a few tax breaks and some hefty government contracts for their special friends, the hell with the rest of us.

They don't really believe in free markets, all they are is crony capitalists and RINOs. They don't need somebody like Sarah Palin coming in and screwing the pooch.

Mark my words is another conservative like Palin is nominated-say for example Herman Cain, or Michelle Bachman, or Allen West, Jim DeMint, etc., they will be facing the exact same bullshit as Palin, and for the exact same reasons.
