(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Obama: Raise Debt Ceiling AGAIN By $1.2 TRILLION DOLLARS

It's broken record time all over again: the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.

Mr Obama and his administration is truly insane.

He believes it's time to kick the debt ceiling up again. In his mind it should never stop. There should never be a limit, no boundaries, no perimeter, no threshold that should never be exceeded. Just keep spending and spending and spending.

Though there likely is little if any gold in Ft Knox. Despite there being no gold standard. Despite there being no silver standard. Despite there being no backing of American cash except how people feel about American cash.

That concept in and of itself should be sufficiently frightening.

From The Washington Post:

President Obama formally notified Congress on Thursday of his intent to raise the nation’s debt ceiling by $1.2 trillion, two weeks after he hadpostponed the request to give lawmakers more time to consider the action.

Congress will have had 15 days to say no before the nation’s debt ceiling automatically is raised from $15.2 trillion to $16.4 trillion.

In a letter to House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio), Obama wrote that ”further borrowing is required to meet existing commitments.”

And my gosh, didn't we do all of this just the past summer? Why yes, we certainly did.

Don't you enjoy watching your nation self-destruct before your very eyes?

Insanity has been redefined by the Obama regime.

I am TIRED of watching this nation fall apart, I am tired of the libbers that destroy her, I am tired of the RINOs that destroy her, I am tired of the self proclaimed erudite and faux conservatives that are destroying her.

That my friend is exactly why I am considering making the move into politics.

A good friend told me it would be a mistake to get into politics, he said ALL politicians succumb to the ills of elected office and that NO politician can fully speak the truth.

He told me that I was much more effective attempting to make changes from the *outside* than I would be on the *inside*.

I have to disagree.

BZ, you know that since back in at least 2005 when we began to get acquainted, I have stood for what I believe to be the truth, and have been damned vocal in speaking it. I honestly believe that it's possible to engage in politics, as an elected official, and not fall victim to the *dark side*.

Someone has to do it. Someone has to set an example of REAL conservatism, not just give it *lip service*. The insanity has got to stop. It might as well start with me!

You may be able to do it on a local level, but I am absolutely convinced that by the time you reach a state and national level, you're too corrupt for the average good of either the state or the country. I too am tired of featherbedding bastards and bastardettes who live to do nothing but get re-elected. I'm not a believer in altruism per se and I wasn't too sure about Mother Teresa. If you can keep it "real" and "local," then more power to you. But by the time 95+% of politicians arrive in a state capitol or the national level, they're mostly gone. There are, of course, a few exceptions but they are far from the rule.

Money and power. That sums it up. And moreover, having the POWER to CONTROL the MONEY.

Obama has made it quite clear that he's going to govern without Congress.

And what is Congress doing about that?

Nada. He has carte blanche.

Obama has always done what he wanted and never gave a rats-rear-end about Congress' approval. We have seen how he spits on the Constitution.

Another fine example of American tax dollars being flushed down the proverbial commode.

I am with TFred, I am so tired of this man getting away with crap and congress just sits and watches him doing nothing at all.

Fed up with it all. I want my nation back from greedy, vile and dishonest politicians.

Someone is going to have to grab the lead here, it just seems that noone has the ethics or morals to do what is right. It seems to me that all most everyone has another motive for wanting to get elected, either trying to get rich or chase women or whatever the case might be. Since JFK to Clinton, it the same motive.

I am anxious to see how Rubio from Florida is going to be involved, I guess he might be a strong VP candidate for Republicans this year, provided he excepts the offer, that is provided he is even offered the VP post.

I believe he would be a very good man to be #2....

Well, I believe it CAN be done, I believe there are many good Americans out that could do it, if only they would.

Incorruptible people are indeed a rarity, but they DO exist.

Congress and the Senate are filled with those that CAN be bought, that's why the rules need to change, that's why Rick Perry put forth HIS idea of a *part time Congress*, one that has to rely on a job and takes public service as an honor and a duty, not a fortune making career.

And another thing, TERM LIMITS for BOTH Houses, that and the part time status would go a long ways towards honesty and credibility.

Read the book Throw Them All Out Texas Fred. If you still can manage to survive w/o your name being destroyed because of the corrupt people already there; you'll get my vote when it's time to pull the lever.
