The most important week for Mr Obama, EVER:

This week will "make or break" Mr Obama and his so-called legacy.

SCOTUS will rule on ObakaKare.

There is a problem with your statement that it's the most important week for Obama. It doesn't matter anymore. His minions are all in. The Hispanics have spoken with their amnesty and the blacks vote with their race on a 90% level. The only hope we have is if EVERY LEGAL REGISTERED R and Indy come out and vote. Not likely. Always On Watch said...: I'm fairly sure that the SCOTUS will declare the individual mandate unconstitutional. I say this based on the arguments that were made during the official SCOTUS hearings on ObamaCare. It seemed at the time that the SCOTUS justices -- enough of them, anyway -- saw the slippery slope involved about mandating American citizens to buy a private product.

I do wonder if Obama will issue an executive order as he recently did about immigration laws: "It's the right thing to do." As I understand executive orders, they are untouchable by the SCOTUS. However, I may be wrong on that one.

I'm not sure that the SCOTUS will totally overturn ObamaCare.

Now, here is something that I'm sure will happen if the SCOTUS rules against ObamaCare: the single payer system will become the next push. There is Constitutionally nothing to prevent the federal government from contracting with private companies as is done in Canada. Honestly, I've heard both good and bad about the Canadian system. As single payer hasn't been on the horizon here in the United States, I haven't done enough research on the topic.

BTW, recently this household was put through the wringer when Mr. AOW was to have cataract surgery. I inquired as to why all the red tape. Response: "New federal regulations that went into effect in January of this year." Those regs are part of ObamaCare as some of ObamaCare just kicked in.

Otherwise, it's an act created by a so-called "Constitutional Scholar" -- Mr Obama -- and will prove he's not much so if his Legacy Bill fails in SCOTUS. And his immediate election in November? I'm not quite so convinced. The "moderates" will have a great deal to do with this, and I suspect the economy will be the linch-pin. Obama is doing EVERYTHING he can to NOT mention the economy and to distract national attention elsewhere.

AOW: if he's "too old" under ObakaKare, the question will be: why waste the money for cataract surgery on someone that age. Yes, that's how ignorant the panels will be. Hello! YOUNG PEOPLE don't GET cataracts! I'll check the link!

Scotty: yes, it will likely go 5-to-4 and Kennedy will be the critical vote.
