Second Veto In Two Terms

President Bush has pulled the promised veto out of his sleeve.

Bush rejected legislation that would require the first U.S. combat troops to be withdrawn from Iraq by Oct. 1 with a goal of a complete pullout six months later.

And I'm so happy that he did! There were a lot of other proposals - pet projects of the Dems - attached to that Bill that got vetoed too, one of them being their plan to raise the minimum wage. LOL! As Ken (Concerned Citizen) said on his blog, they shot themselves in the foot! I say they shot themselves in both feet. :)
