(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Well, you knew this was coming:

Ahmadinejad lauded in Iran for "Lion's Den" visit
TEHRAN - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad may have faced ridicule in the United States by suggesting there were no homosexuals in Iran, but he won praise at home on Wednesday for taking his country's case to "the Lion's Den".

Generally, politicians and media in the Islamic Republic -- even some who have previously criticised the president -- described Ahmadinejad's visit to New York as a triumph and denounced the university president who called him "a petty and cruel dictator".

But wait; there's more:

By fearlessly and courageously walking into the 'Lion's Den' ... he is sure to become even more of a hero in the Arab-Muslim street than before," the daily Iran News wrote.

And, of course, more:

Around 200 lawmakers hailed Ahmadinejad's "historical and memorable" stay in New York, saying in a statement his "courageous" speech on Monday had made Muslims happy while angering Iran's enemies like Israel, the Mehr News Agency said.

What a wonderful propagandist puppet the United States made, allowing Ahmadinejad to make his speech at the UN and then, further, inviting him to speak at a so-called "prestigious" university. What a willing dupe we were, what useful idiots. Is this not precisely what myself and hundreds of other Conservative bloggers wrote would happen following his speech at Columbia?

Thank you Columbia University, you have just assisted in further legitimizing Ahmadinejad the Mad in the Islamic world, as well as making life for all Israelis and, as an extension, the rest of the planet even more dangerous.

Next time, perhaps we could deign to lean into the punch a little more, eh?

It's difficult to convince anyone when too many people, including Americans, equate Bush with Hitler. We guard the back door and the Devil walks in the front.

Still I think over the long haul, the Iranian lunatic may have harmed himself in this way.

Ahmajihadinutjob bought himself a ton of street creds with the other Islamic nuts jobs this week and we let him do it...

One word to State and the visa could have been denied, but then it looks like we're afraid if him...

What the hell, we can always hope for a mid-air tragedy I guess...

What disturbs me about this visit was all the young minds of mush who cheered, applauded, and got all starry-eyed at the little bastard. most of those showing so much support for him wouldn't last five minutes in his country without getting beaten senseless by the cops for un-islamic dress or walking around un escorted by a Man. they even suck up his position on the Holocaust! jeez, even wikipedia has a pretty good outline of that. what are these schoolkids thinking?

I will take a page out of the Dem's playbook... WE didn't invite him THEY did..

The only invite he'd have got from me, would be to a Pig Pickin, Koran flushing, hosted by a faggot Rabbi under a banner of Muhammad taking it in the poop shoot by a big dog.

Do I sound a bit angered by the whole thing????

WE know the nature of this beast, Shoprat. You and I, we of this limited nature. We as Conservatives with a capital C. We tend to look at the world with the Eyes of Reality. We tend to deal with facts rather than emotions. To me, that's one of if not THE largest difference between the Left and the Right -- the Left deals with feelings and emotions; the Right deals with facts and reality. But at this point, sir, who outnumbers whom?

Fred: Precisely. He sure as hell did. And we DO appear to be afraid of him -- and Columbia does us NO good when, in one small example, its idiot Bollinger sends mixed messages (but only because it's a butt-clenching ploy to deal with the negativity heaped upon him at the last second -- it was ALL about HIM saving SOME sort of "face" when he saw how the cards were being tossed).

Mark: that's another issue entirely, yes indeed! Those young and malleable minds who BUY INTO his line of racist, sexist, nationist, anti-US deathly BULLSHIT. This is how STUPID they are: they are on the FRONT LINE of those persons who would be slated FIRST TO BE KILLED in his "ideal" world. They are NOT thinking.

Bush: the only thing you perhaps neglected would be the multiple rubber bladders of pig blood splattered on his clothing as he passed by. Or maybe sending him 10,000 shares of Hormel? A gift certificate to Honey Baked Ham? An autographed photo of Arnold the Pig?

This was precisely my point. We were going to get nowhere with him and he would obviously use it as a propaganda piece in Iran. This was exactly what the Iranian students at Columbia told Geraldo would be the outcome.

Yet, idiotic liberals are patting themselves on the back because they "engaged" with a foreign leader and the President of Columbia even said mean things to him.

Liberals will never learn.

Yes sir, that's exactly what Columbia done, they legitimized him. You saw it coming, we saw it and it happened.

Just plain stupid.

Quick question, Why didn't domeone I.E.D. this p.o.s.? 20 lbs of semtex under a manhole cover would have been nice. Asleep at the switch I suppose. Oh wait, I didn't say any of this. It's all a plant by the commie lovin' lib-tards!

Dee: Yes. There was precisely no learning. There was precisely no engagement. There was only what HE wanted WHEN he wanted, WHERE he wanted. Timing is, after all, EVERYTHING.

Gunz: just like it was a prearranged aria, choreographed.

Thunderstick: SOP is to spot-weld those bad boys. Did you forget that?

While I most whole heartedly agree with Mr. Bushwack, I must say that I think that would be animal cruelty, to the dog. Poor thing.

This is nothing new, the A-Rab media has been using our Leftards and their media bitches for sometime now(see "Pelosi in Hijab" in Syria).

I guess it WILL take 9/11 times a thousand for these sons of motherless goats to get it.

Jenn: you have made the point I stated way back in late 2004 when I first began the blog: we simply will NOT understand the criticality of the situation until we see a mushroom cloud over a major American city, or lose another 3,000+ citizens to a CBN event. And even then, I remain unconvinced that we'll respond appropriately, dependent upon who or what sits in the Oval Office.

And folks wonder *why* no one addressed Hitler as a problem in 1935-36... you could hear something like this then:

Rhapsodized Hearstian British Press Tycoon Viscount Rothermere: "The most prominent figure in the world today is Adolf Hitler. His mastermind magnetizes the whole field of foreign politics. ... He eats no meat, and has followed Mussolini in giving up both alcohol and tobacco—a practice to whose benefits I myself can testify. Hitler takes practically no exercise. . . . Music is, indeed, the only influence which can relax the Chancellor's stern self-control. . . . His love for children and for dogs. . . .Hitler is in the direct tradition of the great leaders of mankind who appear rarely more often than once in two or three centuries. He is the incarnation of the spirit of the German race. ... I am profoundly convinced that the better he is known to the mass of the British nation the higher its appreciation of him will be. . . . The future of this country, as the greatest world Power, is bound up with the actions of this man who is the uncontested ruler of the strongest Continental nation."
- Time Magazine, 24 JUN 1935

Soon it was the Anschluss and Austria, and yet you could hear this on the radio in America:

Now we know that Neville Chamberlain, who is a Realist and masterful man, has made up his mind that the time has come to give up attempts at ideal solutions to the European problems, such as through the League of Nations. To deal with facts, as he found them, and the two outstanding facts were the two dictators, Hitler and Moussolini. Both had grievances that had to be recognized and it's possible were right. Before Europe would turn over in bed and most dream comfortably. And Chamberlain told his Cabinet that he was going to settle this and on a Realist basis.
- John Steel, American Radio

Watch out so you don't step in the 'realism'! And the worse part of it is that you could hear this sort of tripe coming out of the mouths of Representatives in Syria just a bit ago. I am sure that equally glowing reports on the Iranian President can be found today... from Americans... because he is a 'man of peace' just the way that lovely 'man of peace' only wanted the Sudetenland...

It's insane!

People I talk to keep telling me what a great thing it was, that he was allowed to speak and expose himself for what he is...that we showed them what a great thing freedom of speech is that he denies his own people. BUT THEY DON'T GET IT, that it was never about addressing us, but using us for propaganda purposes back in Tehran. In extending the invitation for him to speak, it was ever a lose-lose situation. Doesn't matter one iota how Bollinger treated Ahmadinejad. He automatically comes out the winner in this.

Wordsmith: PRECISELY CORRECT!!

It WASN'T about freedom of speech; it was all about USING US!!
