Bloviating Zeppelin: Is This Really Fred?

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Issues, that's what I'm going to be Voting for, NOT personality. besides, Ranando has a point, this guy is surrounding himself with Bushies (globalist pricks) like Hillary is surrounding herself with former Clintonistas (globalist pricks). what is he really bringing to the table? an easygoing southern manner? hot young wife? taste for fine cuban cigars? while I can appreciate all that, I want somebody committed to the GOOD OLD USA!! not globalism.

So: is he what he is, a good ol' country fried boy slow to brawl, or is he a city slicker agendist masquerader? If not Fred, then Rudy? If not Rudy, then Mit? If not Mit, then Hucky? If not Hucky, then Ron? If not Ron, then Tom? If not Tom, then. . .

All indications are that Rudy will be the front runner, but only time will tell. As I've said before, whoever the front runner is, I'll vote for him. Any Republican will be better than Hillary Clinton and if it comes down to voting for the lesser of two evils, well then, what choice do we have?

They all have problems, needless to say, but who else gets connected via the Macau Triads to the purchase of the partially completed Soviet CV Varyag, but Hillary Clinton? And when looking up that I then ran across my major beef with yet another candidate, this on the R side. Apparently saving R hides and taking a dive on investigating the connections of the Clintons to China via the PLA used Triads was a bit too much... mind you, that would have uncovered not only money transfers but technology favors to China from the Clinton Administration, plus some other perks to COSCO and the like.

Less than impressed on that... far, far, far less...

In addition, not voting at all is not a choice... it's surrender.

The unbelievable thing to me is that it is still such a toss-up. JC Watts was on Hannity's show last week saying that Hillary is going to get the Dem nod for sure but as for the Republicans who knows? It is such a crap shoot at this point. I think Fred, Rudy and Mitt all have an equal chance at it.

It is too bad as we talked about before that we couldn't have somebody like Jeb Bush who everyone could rally around. I hate to say it but with all this infighting things are not looking good for our side in 08. But you never know, a lot could happen between now and next year.

LMC: you're right, tons could occur in that amount of time. Quite frankly, I'd like to see Hucky or Hunter rally around. Fred has not knocked me out with a right cross but I'm not convinced he's well.

Anyone goofy enough to vote for Rudy might as well vote for Hillary...

Rudy is a damned RINO, and not a very good one at that, he's a hell of a lot closer to being a Dem than any of the RepuliBot crowd will ever admit...

Now don't take me the wrong way, I would hate to see Hillary, or ANY of the current list of Dems in the White House, but with the Dems at least you KNOW what you're gonna get, fucked over, with Rudy, it just depends on which of his political personalities wakes up that day...

The individual (R) in question of the Senate committee to investigate Chinagate/Donorgate and the flow of People's Liberation Army funds into the coffers of Bill Clinton's campaign and to various supporters was a Senator by the name of Fred Thompson. He stopped his committee in the investigation phase and did not continue it as one Sen. Arlen Specter was under scrutiny for funding irregularities for his campaign.

I have no problems with the (R) 11th commandment. That commandment does not mean that you let those in your own party get shielded from scrutiny at the expense of the Nation's need for honest and accountable funding of its presidential campaigns. That is why we now see Hsu, Chatwal, Jinnah, Oto, Peter Paul, Nemazee and others showing up. The corrupt practices of the Clintons was not gone after and dug into by one Senator that promised to do exactly that.

I have deep problems with that.
