Bloviating Zeppelin: Another Blow

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Another Blow

Not just to Hillary, but to the GOP as well.

Hillary hied her ass directly into her rental jet the moment the polls in South Carolina closed. The writing was on the wall and she knew it. Results:

1. Obama
2. Clinton
3. Edwards

Yes, Barack Obama delivered another roundhouse kick to the sagging (sorry, read: experienced) jowls of the Hillary Regime.

This is SO not in keeping with The Great Plan. The Great Plan consisted of one sole strategy: Hillary Clinton running roughshod over any competitor, supported by every Demorat, for two primary reasons: 1) She is a Clinton and 2) She thusly deserves it. She honestly and truly believes: she is owed this Presidency.

The problem is this: Hillary is simply a polarizing entity within the Demorat party. She is (as I have bleated forever) insufficently Left for The Left. Because of this polarization, if she wins or loses it will not be by a wide margin.

Because of this innate polarization, I submit that Hillary is more inherently "beatable" by the GOP than Barack Obama. And I will tell you, in the most base terms, precisely why:

1. Hillary doesn't have a lock on what's left of "feminists";
2. When Hillary opens her mouth, it's reminiscent of nails screeching on a chalkboard;
3. No one admires thick ankles;
4. She wields power in its most abject fashion and people recognize this on a subliminal level;
5. Many will hold for Hillary when, in fact, in the back of their brains they still want Bill;
6. Hillary represents Old School;
7. Obama represents New School;
8. Obama doesn't spew Black Urban Gutterspeak;
9. He's White enough to not be immediately threatening on the first-glance-surface;
10. He is well-groomed, wears a suit, has a presence;
11. He doesn't have a southern accent; that in and of itself kills Edwards and killed Thompson;
12. People are so OVER with ANYONE possessing a so-called "southern accent";

And here is what I think appeals to a good number of persons about Obama:

Obama is a vacuum. Obama is whatever you want him to be. Obama conforms to whatever your general Left-Leaning brain envisions. He is an empty vessel to be filled with what exists in your brain, in your world. Because he has been sufficiently nebulous on the issues, in order to acquire the greatest amount of appeal.

He is a younger, darker Bill Clinton: dynamic, a presence, willing to be what you want him to be when you want him to be it. Anyone remember what Joe Biden said about Obama?

So: could the GOP beat Hillary? Yes, I believe that is possible.

Could the GOP beat Obama?

The bulk of the electorate, quite frankly, votes its emotive gut. Bottom line: who is more likeable? Hillary or Obama?

I think we can all do the math on that one.

P.S.
On the GOP side, it still amazes me that we are leaning towards a doddering liberal, John McCain. Michael Medved, a man I once respected, is simply wrong.

That sums it up very well. I listened to Obama's victory speech, and the masses shouting "Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can!" and thought, "How vacuous...great rhetoric but devoid of substance."

They both suck donkey balls, but the Dems are still eating it up like a bargain buffet at Circus Circus. Pretty sad.

I agree with you, and hope that Shrillary wins the nod from the demorats; she's more beatable than Obama.

I think we have all seen the type of individual Obama is: supporting of an overseas dictator-wannabe with ties to al Qaeda funders and organized crime, giving phonecalls to said dictator-wannabe when he stages ethnic cleansing attacks to protest an election he lost, working with Chitown mobsters on land deals that have helped his previous campaigns, whitewashing his past with concerns to his father, mother and their connections to radical politics back in the same country as the dictator-wannabe who feels 'entitled' to be Prime Minister because his father couldn't get that self-same 'entitlement'.

Yes a politician of privilege who can't even be bothered to show up to *vote* when he was in the Statehouse and all too often in the US Senate. A man avoiding a record as it would be a *record* to judge him by. Amazing how the Left goes on about how many in the R party have supported dictators and authoritarian actors on the world stage and then NOTHING when one of their OWN does the SAME THING.

To hell with the Left if they have no ideals worth standing up for... that indicates all they want is *power*. As an ideal, being power-hungry is pretty much at the bottom of the barrel with all the rest of the dead scum that has drifted down there. And their 'change' will get the US involved in the heavy Balkanization of Africa beyond its already wretched state and then, because we have such a kind hearted fellow in Barack Obama, we may get involved in an endless 'humanitarian war'...

JFK at least stood against Communism.

Obama?

He is an 'agent of change', all right... for the *worse*. Just like Clinton got us involved in Kosovo, which everyone seems to want to run over to the al Qaeda enablers of the KLA there, Obama wants *that* in Kenya to join Somalia, Sudan, Eritrea... and then let those conflicts spread outwards. Because he and the Left have not learned the critical part of Iraq:

You cannot *keep* peace until you *make* peace.

And quite a few on the R side have forgetten *that* lesson, too.

We'd better hope that Hillary wins the primary, BZ, because she's going to be easier to beat than Obama. She's got a lot more skeletons in her closet than he does.

I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would want four more years of the Clintons. GAG!

There are two many unsettled variables to predict what will happen.

When I look at both sides of the primaries they are just a complete mess. If you would've told me 6 months ago that John McCain would be doing this well and that Obama would be giving Hillary this much trouble I would've never believed it.

I was cracking up this morning listening to McCain's campaign guy compare him to Romney by saying that McCain is the consistent conservative in the race. Nothing could be further from the truth. A more accurate statement would be, he is the most consistent Republican to stab Republicans in the back.

I'm not giving up on Rudy just yet. I know the polls don't look good but my Rudy guy called and said he is doing very well in Florida. I'm having him on the radio show tomorrow. That said, even if Rudy doesn't come to the forefront, there is no way we pick the traitor McCain. We will settle for Romney light years before we do that.

No, that would go to George "Just Print More" Bush.
