(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Wyoming: GOP

In Saturday's Wyoming GOP caucuses, the results:

Romney: winner. Huckabee: zero.

Of course, you could say that, after all, it's only Wyoming. Demorats don't even have their cauci until March 8th.

But a Huckabee Tsunami?

Not convinced.

What troubles me most about these recent polls and the Iowa outcome is the shallow reasons given by the voters for voting for Obama and Huck, voting for "change" that's completely undefined by the voters, and frankly not really defined by the candidates either, change from what to what? what has Obama promised other than raising taxes and invading pakistan? and all the GOP candidates have histories that are at odds with their current positions, people DO change their mind about things though, even I have a time or two. seems like even Reagan would have a hard time with voters nowadays, after all, he was for amnesty in his day. seems like today we have a big block of voters who will vote for something as shallow as whoever has the best hair, and another block who demand that the candidate MUST be in 100% lock step agreement with THEM on EVERY issue or they 'aint worth shit!

And therein, Mark, lies the rub. At a time when GOP and/or Conservative voters are less inclined to go with someone who isn't completely in line with their thinking, the GOP simultaneously seems to be moving from moderation to the Left on any number of issues -- issues that would make yesterday's Democrats look Conservative and today's Republicans appear pure Left.

I know that I'll never find a candidate in lockstep with me; that's a given. What disappoints is the GOP's concomitant abandonment in bits and chunks of CONSERVATIVE principles.

For Christ's sake, NONE of the GOP will even say what Ron Paul just had the nards to (though he'll piss off his hardcore Libertarian base) say: NO more anchor babies in this country.

My God, am I gonna have to look to RON PAUL as a candidate? Endorsed by Truthers and KKK devotees?

well, we had Hunter and Tancredo, but neither one got any support, why, I don't know, because either one of them were better than the others we still have in the running on border issues. guess the border is not that big a deal to many in the GOP. but.... Romney, Huck, Giuliani and Fred all say they want to secure the border now, why don't you believe them?

He's not endorsed, he had a picture taken.

Good God, Bush had his picture taken with the leader of the people that killed 3000 American, hell he had him over for dinner.

Ron Paul was good enough for Reagan, maybe we should at least take a look.

McCain/Paul! OR Paul/McCain. Paul's for a closed border (unlike Huck, who caved into the liberals on immigration). Ron Paul also respect the Constitution (unlike Romney---or apparently Roody), and could win moderate voters. Paul might also prevent McCain from turning Iran into glass.

Check out these Bay Area freaks (if you can stomach it). That's the sort of rats CA conservatives and libertarians are up against.
