Is the day that the United States federal budget ceases to run on straight revenues for the budget year. The rest of the year will be running on debt.

This is the earliest date in the history of the United States that revenues have run short.

Simply frightening.

Only on a certain date are you actually working for your OWN benefit.

I just got my monthly paycheck and it was more than last month. I asked why and was told by our company accountant that is was because of Obama’s tax cuts. Every employee got an increase in pay and no one was complaining. I’m still waiting for this huge taxation that the minority is talking about. My federal withholding tax DID NOT GO UP, IT WENT DOWN. Even when I’m done paying California’s sales tax, I will still be ahead at the end of the year.

I guess 3 months is a long time for some folks.

Ranando - It is one thing to disagree with politicians (it is what this country is based on). It is another thing to be an ignorant racist. Being Black has nothing to do with politics. It must be nice that you were born white. Did you go to Harvard? Were you a US Senator? Obama did both, so keep race out of this.

Lets see what Obama does with the 2011 budget. He has said numerous times that this is a Bush era budget that he is letting stand because things were already in motion. If this happens again in 2011 we have real problems.

Lets be happy that he is including all spending in this budget and not leaving out a few hundred billion that was spent on the war.

Oh yeah - wasn't it Bush who presided over the largest increase in government in recent history? And didn't we have a balanced budget when he came to office?
