Bloviating Zeppelin: What A Collection of Dolts

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

What A Collection of Dolts

I'm sorry, I customarily attempt to temper my labels and name-calling but the "major story" in Washington on Monday was Mr Obama's stunningly-stupid order to his cabinet to locate and identify $100-million dollars in spending reductions.

I'll just cut to the chase: Mr Obama is a bleeding moron.

And the media that covered it are equally moronic, as are the sphincter-breathers who took a collective intake of air from their southern regions and gushed with approval.

$100 million dollars? An "m" and not a "b" or a "t"? As one observer wrote: "The thrifty measures Obama ordered for federal agencies are the equivalent of asking a family that spends $60,000 in a year to save $6."

The county where I work is damned near $100 million in debt -- as contrasted to the friggin' Federal Government?

Then Mr Obama, apparently not satisfied with this cretinous directive, upstaged himself in terms of lunacy and stated that the amount is a "drop in the bucket."

If so, then what in the hell was the point of making such a blockheaded announcement in the first place?

[ . . . wait for it . . . wait for it . . . ]

Because he knew the bulk of the electorate -- and certainly the media -- are actually that stupid.

Yes, BZ, there is no other conclusion that makes sense. When you think that 52% of voters on 11/4 actualy voted Hussein in. That is the only concusion that fits, as I said.

Texas, He believes WE ARE and the people who voted for him ARE.

He thinks he can do just about anything and get away with it. He can say he stabbed his dog to death for fun and convince the tin foil hats who voted for him that that is the moral thing to do.

Now, I'm not an economist or a highly trained politician, but isn't 100 million how much we are paying PER DAY in interest on his asinine trillion dollar budget?

What.

A.

Putz.

And this, I am sad to say, is the turning point of not slamming the sitting President. The DOLT in Chief is really, really, stupid if he think that everyman is going to allow him to continue.

Anyone know how to start a recall petition?

Cary, I can't tell you how much I've truly pulled my punches here. You and all my readers have already sussed out the fact that I seldom if ever delete ANYone's comment, that I solicit comments at every turn, and I attempt to purposely hold "name-calling" at arms'-length. I really do want to minimize verbal and written hate and discontent; when we stoop to NOTHING but name-calling we tend to lose the logic and factual argument. And I always defer to facts and logic as opposed to emotion.

But sometimes, now, with this administration, with everything we think, dream, hear, read, see, feel seemingly controlled or TARGETED for CONTROL by the media and our government, I find myself extraordinarily tasked.

Everything you have averred to is why I consider you a blog worth reading.

No, name-calling does not accomplish anything, but as with dealing with terrorists, you have to give them what is understood - which is why diplomatic negotiations with armed fanatics won't work, and civil discourse with the left is doomed to failure.

His handlers are insulating him from the rising anger out here. He believes CNN. He doesn't realize how foolish he is looking. If he did he'd be hiding under the bed.

BZ, for some reason I realized today that I did not have you linked on my site. (I just had to rebuild after a database problem where I lost all of my links and a few articles.)

That problem (the lack of link and the database issues as well) has now been corrected.

What we are seeing here is more of what we have seen since the rise of liberal politicians began. They usurp our rights, massively expand government and spend like drunken sailors as a rule. So, to make themselves appear more moderate, the give back a small insignificant piece of the puzzle and make a huge deal about it while flat out lying to the American people about their intent.

Just look at what we have seen so far. Obama stated that he would never take away our guns, which may be technically true, but he will register each and every one, require a federal license to own any firearm, register, encode and track your ammunition usage, ban entire classes of weapons, clips, accessories and gear, but he would never TAKE your gun. Just simply control every aspect of it.

He said he would veto any bill with earmarks attached to it. Oh yeah, except for that bill, uhm, and that one... Maybe even that one there. Then in true Clintonesque form, he redefines what an earmark is to excuse his flat out lie to the American public.

He ducked and dodged the piracy issue until he was forced to sign a document allowing the military to act on their own to protect the lives of American citizens. Then when the op was a huge success it was apparently all his divinely inspired plan that set it in motion.

Now we come to spending, sure he has committed an economically crushing and unsustainable 1.2 trillion dollars a year for the next ten years, but hey look at him now. He is trying to cut $100 million dollars of wasteful spending out of the budget. That means he is a fiscal conservative, right?

It is the same old liberal bullshit political maneuvering we have seen for decades. He is just exceptionally good at it (or maybe that is his staff).

CC: never in my advanced number of years have I been witness to a government so concerned with REDUCING freedoms whilst simultaneously crowing about the freedoms it is allegedly enabling -- and in such plain view, aided and abetted in all aspects by the media.

Uhm, actually Libdouche, they are a collection of criminals. One of the qualifications to be nominated for a cabinet position in this administration is that you are apparently required to have evaded taxes.

You are sounding more pathetic each day.

They are all SOS.

Stuck On Stupid.

The good General used the phrase and it is the #1 most easy identifier that we have today. See someone spouting the same old clap-trap? That person is SOS.

Amazing what hothouse politics has gotten us on all sides... pampered candidates, spendthrifts that pull out a penny from their pocket and call it lots of cash, and the same old 'we should be so happy they are giving us a tax cut'... on our money.

That goes for the Big Governmentites on the Left and Right, Democratic or Republican. I don't want to hear about how great 'Progressives' are be they Democrat or Republicans: they got us into this mess starting with Teddy Roosevelt and ending up with Barack Obama. Same damned play book, and all of it is authoritarian, Big Brother and preachy as all get-out. They *do* practice what they preach: less choice for citizens, more money to government and big smiles of how this is so very good that you have less liberty.

To hell with them.

Voting for the lesser evil means you get evil.

'Reaching across the aisle' to help the spendthrifts, the Big Governmentites and those who want more government is helping to remove liberty with the force of government behind it. That is NOT being 'bi-partisan', that is helping to remove liberty from the people. Don't tell me how that is in any way, shape or form 'good'. It isn't.

Doesn't matter how nice the guy is, what he suffered through or how many promises he or she makes.... the net result is Big Government. And poor citizens.

Would you like a little evil with that or a little more evil with that? Choose your evil column! Really you will like evil! Truly!

Uh-huh.

And each step of evil is... evil... big, small, little or large... we are impoverished. The people. You and me. Citizens.

Not Subjects.

That is what we give up with this lovely 'lesser evil' concept.

Do you want to be a Citizen?

Or a Subject?

Decide for yourself and be satisfied or be told what to do and LIKE IT as it is what you deserve?

I don't like that from Democrats.

I don't like it from Republicans.

I don't like it one little bit.

An option to vote FOR returning liberty and removing officious and evil government from my life, please. I will vote for that. But no more voting for 'lesser evils' - you are supporting evil that way. I will vote for NO ONE, the blank slate, if I keep getting that and I somehow always do as what the party machines churn out is evil. And no amount of participation has stopped that, in case you missed it out there. This game is rigged. And it is the dolts in the picture and their counter-parts across the aisle who smile ever so sweetly in their handshakiness and crafty 'bi-partisanship' that hoist the sails directly E. If your party nominates someone who is only good in comparison to 'the other guy' don't expect me to find anything actually good about him.

That doesn't wash no matter how hard you beat it on a rock.
