Bloviating Zeppelin: Demorats Reveal Themselves

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Demorats Reveal Themselves

Thanks to Bushwack for my theft of the Sharpton video. And thanks to Joe Biden for continuing to be a remarkably excellent source of ignorance.

Sharpton in a rare revelation of the truth.

And Biden as his usual self.

Five days to review any bill online before Mr Obaka signs something crossing his desk?

The Demorats still have no true idea of what they've done. Nor does the rest of the country save a few persons with actual insight as to the realities involved.

One tax -- on tanning salons! -- starts immediately. Today.

19 million students will shortly be overcharged for their tuitions -- their loans now controlled by the federal government -- in order to fund healthcare. Way to go, kids, voting for Mr Obaka!

Seniors in Medicare Advantage are going to find their benefits slashed.

What did Bart Stupak get for his placing a national shiv up the sphincter of taxpayers and subverting this nation? Oh yes, of course; three airports in his district are to receive roughly $700,000 in grants. Mr Stupak sold his vote -- on the promise of an "Executive Order" -- for pennies compared to Mary Landrieu's $300 million "Louisiana Purchase." Stupak became the pivotal vote.

ObakaKare will affect states' budgets. Fourteen states already have filed suit:

States faced with unprecedented declines in tax collections are cutting benefits and payments to hospitals and doctors in Medicaid, the health program for the poor paid jointly by state and U.S. governments. The costs to hire staff and plan for the average 25 percent increase in Medicaid rolls may swamp budgets, said Toby Douglas, who manages the Medicaid program for California, which hasn’t joined the lawsuits.

For California, with a $20 billion budget deficit, the extra load will cost at least an additional $2 billion to $3 billion annually, said Douglas, chief deputy director for California’s health care programs. He said the overhaul is currently projected to add 1.6 million people to the 7 million enrolled in his state’s program.

“We face enormous challenges just sustaining our existing program,” said Douglas in a March 18 telephone interview. “I just don’t see states having the capacity to move forward on these changes in this environment.”

But hey, no problem. We can just cut more cops and more firefighters and release some oppressed inmates in state prisons and revamp our penal codes so that county prisoners only have to do a quarter of their actual sentences. Right? Because, after all, we can't cut welfare or in home care or SEIU employees. Zounds!

Oh Amerika. I shake my head. You have no idea what you've elected and what you've allowed your so-called "representatives" to do. You know: the people who really do not represent you and couldn't care less about what you want.

A "representative Republic"?

Not hardly.

BZ, this is proof that most people vote on emotion rather than logic. Most of the morons who voted for him, don't look at what they think, and see the outcomes of it. They just act on an impulse, rather than thinking things through. Remember BZ, the socialists here in Amerika always think its cool to be a socialist. If they lived in an actual socialist country instead of a free one, their tune would change. Well comrade, vodka for all?

The one sure thing about these demonrats, they keep giving. This HC travesty will be the rallying cry in November, but I'm betting there will be MANY more examples, and reasons to vote the bums out..

Can't wait to hear your resident moonbats take on the Sharptongue video.

Wait I heard the N-word....

That's the truth. We have been fundamentally changed and the masses don't know, and most of the Democrats in Congress don't know it.

I will not accept any Congressperson who accepts that this is a done deal.

I heard O'Reilly on FOX say last night he was tired of the healthcare issue and so was everyone else. Then he further skewed the seriousness of what we are facing by having Bernie Goldberg on who said something very similar to this:

For Democrats, healthcare is a moral issue, for Republicans it is an economic issue.

I wanted to throw something at the television.

Yeah, we are all tired of this issue, but I plan for it to keep me awake. We cannot go to sleep on it. We cannot accept it.

I hope SCOTUS get on it fast.

ps: I'm also outraged that John McCain has had his mug on TV for the past two days - saying he would not accept this. He's a bit late - he missed the party and showed up for the wake.

Loved your rant. I feel it too.

Wasn't the bill over 2000 pages? Right there, I call, "Political malpractice!"

This week should have been an eye-opener for many. They clearly stated that "there are no rules, we make them up as we go", "we're going to take over the insurance companies", "socialism is what the people voted for", and on and on.

Sharpton will admit to Obama being a socialist now that he is in office, but during the campaign he would have never uttered those words. Actually Obama is way passed being a socialist of the European varity, he is a full blown Marxist, but will only be able to move so far for fear of being revealed to the general public---it will be a little here and a little there. But with the fall election looming I'm sure he's worried about his huge majorities in the House and Senate and the distinct possibility that many of his programs will not pass and those that have already passed may not be funded by a new Congress.

And now we see:

1) Congresscritters wrote themselves out of O-care.

2) For all the histrionics, children with pre-existing conditions and young adults aren't covered.

3) A tax on tampons! Good going!

4) States can opt out of the individual mandate if they just conform to the federal guidelines, pretty please with sugar on it and screw your State laws and constitutions as this is the federal government mandating you to do this.

For all the supposed 'good' this is supposed to do, you would think that someone would have bothered to read the damn thing... but supporters seem to care more in bleeding hearts and don't notice when their wrists are slit.
