(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Mexico: Rife With Dangerous and Uncivilized Barbarians

If you were holed up in a cave a little while ago, perhaps assuming the fetal position in anticipation of the wonders of ObakaKare, you might have missed the fact that there were over 60 drug-related murders in Mexico very recently -- two of them being Americans -- and in the span of just one weekend.

In fact, in the past three years there have been more than 18,000 murders resulting just from drug violence in Mexico.

People complain about the casualties in Iraq; Mexico is more dangerous than Iraq. More journalists have been killed in Mexico than Iraq. Some have already quantified Mexico as a larger security threat to the United States than Iraq.

Mexicans also pay religious homage to the Saint Death cult figure, who is worshiped by thieves, drug-runners and some "law abiding" households. They say their "faith is being persecuted by the government's war on drug cartels." Numerous roadside shrines exist everywhere.

In the meantime, March 12th, from San Antonio News:

BROWNSVILLE — The Zapata County sheriff Thursday was questioning why a Mexican military helicopter was hovering over homes on the Texas side of the Rio Grande.

It was one of the more jarring incidents of the fourth week of border tensions sparked by drug killings, and rumors of such killings, in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.

Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez said he'd reviewed photos of the chopper flown by armed personnel Tuesday over a residential area known as Falcon Heights-Falcon Village near the binational Falcon Lake, just south of the Starr-Zapata county line. He said the helicopter appeared to have the insignia of the Mexican navy.

“It's always been said that the Mexican military does in fact ... that there have been incursions,” Gonzalez said. “But this is not New Mexico or Arizona. Here we've got a river; there's a boundary line. And then of course having Falcon Lake, Falcon Dam, it's a lot wider. It's not just a trickle of a river, it's an actual dam. You know where the boundary's at.”

The sighting came amid ongoing fighting between the Gulf Cartel and its former enforcers, Los Zetas. The mounting death toll and crisis of fear in cities across from the Texas border have drawn global attention, as has a news blackout in affected cities due to the kidnappings of eight Mexican journalists, at least one of whom was killed.

As violence continued Thursday with a highway shootout in Tamaulipas, a Senate subcommittee in Washington heard testimony that drug cartels are trying to infiltrate U.S. agencies along the border, with corruption cases among Homeland Security personnel on the rise.

This is a wide-open country, essentially run by drug cartels. Period.
Any American traveling to Mexico for a so-called "spring break" is an idiot.

Any American traveling to Mexico on a cruise line and actually stepping off-ship is an idiot.

Mexico is out of control.

And whilst these things manifest, Mr Obaka believes it's in our best interest to grant amnesty to those illiterates who have already caused an entire nation directly south of us to crash and burn.

Why? One word: votes. Period. A CIS study indicates so. PDF here.

And let's look at the facts as well. The American media and government would have you believe that Conservatives are the only ones proffering a "hard line" on legal immigration. Clearly, because they're simply racist -- ?

Then what would explain a CIS (Center for Immigration Studies) finding which indicates in part:

- In contrast to the leadership of many ethnic advocacy groups, most members of minority groups think immigration is too high.

Hispanics: 56 percent said it is too high; 7 percent said too low; 14 percent just right.

Asian-Americans: 57 percent said immigration is too high; 5 percent said too low; 18 percent just right.

African-Americans: 68 percent said it is too high; 4 percent said too low; 14 percent just right.

- Most members of minority groups do not feel that illegal immigration is caused by limits on legal immigration as many ethnic advocacy groups argue; instead, members feel it’s due to a lack of enforcement.

Hispanics: Just 20 percent said illegal immigration was caused by not letting in enough legal immigrants; 61 percent said inadequate enforcement.

Asian-Americans: 19 percent said not enough legal immigration; 69 percent said inadequate enforcement.

African-Americans: 16 percent said not enough legal immigration; 70 percent said inadequate enforcement.

- Most members of minority groups feel that there are plenty of Americans available to fill unskilled jobs.

Hispanics: 15 percent said legal immigration should be increased to fill unskilled jobs; 65 percent said there are plenty of Americans available to do unskilled jobs, employers just need to pay more.

Asian-Americans: 19 percent said increase immigration; 65 percent said plenty of Americans are available.

African-Americans: 6 percent said increase immigration; 81 percent said plenty of Americans are available.

- When asked to choose between enforcement that would cause illegal immigrants in the country to go home or offering them a pathway to citizenship with conditions, most members of minority groups choose enforcement.

Hispanics: 52 percent support enforcement to encourage illegals to go home; 34 percent support conditional legalization.

Asian-Americans: 57 percent support enforcement; 29 percent support conditional legalization.

African-Americans: 50 percent support enforcement; 30 percent support conditional legalization.

Full PDF file from CIS on the topic is here.

The CIS concludes:

Republicans are right to want to attract Latino voters. They are indisputably a growing share of the population and the electorate. But expanding the future flow of low-skilled immigrants into an economy ill-suited to promote their upward mobility will clearly be counterproductive given the evidence presented here. At the same time, Republican opposition to higher immigration levels can be too easily typecast as racist and xenophobic. This is because the party’s elites have failed to deliver a clear message that they want a pro-immigrant policy of reduced immigration and that these two goals are complementary. Such a policy would also prove to be the best means for moving immigrants toward the middle and upper income status that will promote their geographic and political mobility.

You grant amnesty to Mexicans, and you import Mexico into the United States.

If you want complete chaos in our nation, you simply continue on this track.

Remember: Mr Obaka is completely willing to sacrifice the safety of you, your family, your neighborhood. All for the sake of VOTES.

I remember hearing very often that Bush was only soft on immigration because they felt that MX needed a safety valve or it'd implode and then WE would get MILLIONS coming over the borders for refuge...
We should have put our army on the border, BIG TIME.

And yes, the media would hate it known, also, that most good Mexicans who came legally are REPUBLICANS..as are most CUBANS.
But, then, we have a country stupid enough to believe Michael Moore's right about Cuba when Cuba's escapees like Gloria Estefan and Andy Garcia CONSTANTLY warn us against the LIES.

BZ, you remember that so-called PoliSci professor from Long Beach? Donnie Douglas?? He claims to be a conservative and he believes that we're all racists because we don't want this TRASH in our nation...

Of course he's NOT a conservative, he's a poser, a libber in disguise, but it's not just the media my friend, it's the infiltrators among us, or, as you so aptly put it, the agent provocateurs, and the bastards are everywhere...

I have a friend with the Phoenix PD. She's told me a little about what goes on there. Amnesity is absolutely the wrong answer. Again.

AOW, Z, TF, NFO: we can ALL see the writing on the wall; despite having a majority in both houses the Dems still want a smoother time of it. The first and easiest way is to acquire a larger voting block by way of illegal amnesty. Next up: further limitations and regulation on your 2nd Amendment.

Trust me on this one.

The Bracero Program worked quite well.

Nine months working here, three months with the family there.

It was hard for the Elitist Moochers to exploit Mexicans; 16-18 hr. days being a house slave for room and board, cheaper than dirt slave labor, no benefits or taxes paid on them. There are bottom feeders in this country that day trade, stealing billions of Americans dollars and not contributing a penny to Society, and exploiting a cheap source of labor.

Bring back the Bracero Program. End of story.

Pull our Military from Iraq, redeploy them to start massive round-ups of all illegals; not just Mexicans. This is the computer age. It’s easy to track them down.

As for the Phoenix P.D., currently we are depositioning to the FBI because a bonehead cop threw a City Councilman to the ground for not submitting and obeying him immediately.

This is the result of aggressively seeking homosexuals and lesbians with which to man your police force. The FBI’s final report should contain documentation from us showing an inordinate amount of perverts on the force (my learned private estimate 50% men, 98% of the women). In the area of illegals, Phoenix is an Amnesty City. It is very hard to prosecute illegals should they commit a crime against a Citizen. We Citizens get the full hammer of the law against us for stupid stuff. Phoenix City Court is full of outrageous charges against decent folk

The State of Arizona just handed over the Department of Motor Vehicles to Private Operators. Guess who runs those Private guys? If you guessed the Mexican Mafia Drug Cartels, you would not be wrong.

All it takes is to send a girl in to apply for a job, give her a free home, furniture, a boob job, and a macho boyfriend to sex her up, a little spending cash, and the Mafiosos are in like Flynn.

And Sheriff Joe does his grandstanding rounding up poor guys just trying to earn a few crumbs; he leaves the cartels alone. A guy can get hurt monkeying with them.

To the Drug Problem.

Mexico under its recent two somewhat Catholic Presidents is eradicating the U.S. funded and armed drug cartels.

Without U.S. Government aid and U.S. Private Investors in Drug Trafficking, operation of Pedophile Orphanages, and Pornography Industry, Mexicans would have to go back to wearing serapes and riding donkeys. They have made much money working for the Gringoes.

The drugs through Mexico are hecho en U.S.A.

I have met with Mexican Congress Members, and traveled across Mexico from Michoacan, to Nogales,Sonora, on the Arizona border.

I have walked through these supposed danger areas, and interacted with some Mafiosos.

They have all been told there is only one way to salvation, and if they want, a Confession with a Priest could be arranged.

God has set the Devil upon these guys, and many of them and their families are being terrorized by demons both day and night.

It is just a matter of God’s timing before the majority of them take us up on our offer.

It is the duty of Roman Catholic Men to go to the front lines.

Nothing we do is on our own authority. This problem and many others will not be resolved by girl talking.

It is the hour for us men to step up to the plate. Let us make our Yes, Yes, our No. No. And let us hear the Truth.

May God our Lord in his infinite and supreme goodness be pleased to give us his abundant grace, that we may know his most holy will, and entirely fulfill it.

Santa María de Guadalupe Esperanza nuestra, salva nuestra patria y conserva nuestra Fe.

I just watched a "top 10 mexican beach resorts" on the Travel Channel. Been to Cancun once before and loved it. Thinking of diving in Cozumel. I must say that the coral reef there is beautiful. It's off the coast about a half hour by boat. They have this manmade structure (almost an island, really) name Aquaworld chained to the ocean floor. You can swim right up to all of these beautiful bright colored fish. Trully amazing.
My aunt was a missionary in Mexico for decades. I've only gone once but have entertained the idea of possibly retiring there. Most of this violence seems to be occuring near the northern border areas and not in the resort destinations further to the south. A friend's father moved doen there 20 years ago to retire and seems to enjoy it very much. Just as a comparison, there were over 17,000 murders in the US in 2006.

Pablo: "The State of Arizona just handed over the Department of Motor Vehicles to Private Operators. Guess who runs those Private guys? If you guessed the Mexican Mafia Drug Cartels, you would not be wrong."

Wonderful, Pablo, just wonderful.

Finally: how is it that Mexican drug cartels are US funded and armed? I'd like to know how that occurs. We'd ALL like to know that one.

Tim: That's odd, in a study from 1998 to 2000 statistics, per capita in the world, Mexico ranks #8 and big, old, evil US ranks #24. Source: http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_mur_percap-crime-murders-per-capita#source

In 2008 there were 14,180 homicides for the US -- the most recent FBI stats available. Source: http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/cius2008/offenses/expanded_information/homicide.html

What you look for are trends and targeting. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Mexico Journalists are targeted, government officials are targeted, police, judges, mayors, soldiers. Those trends are not occurring in this country.

We have sufficient problems in this country, much less importing more drains on the budget for those wishing to send the bulk of their earnings south. And, of course, importing, norming and legalizing criminals and their proclivities.

Not to put words into Pablo's mouth, but the guns come from America because they can be legally purchased up here. AR15's MAK90's AK47's, Tec9's. Etc. The funding comes from the people in this country buying the cocaine and pot, among other things. Much like the funding of the Taliban comes from the purchase of Heroin in Europe.
We went through this during prohibition in cities like Chicago and New York. I was not saying the US is as bad as Mexico crime wise, but that we have quite a lot of murders here as well. You keep aware and stay out of areas where there may be trouble. Obviously, I'd rather not see my nineteen year old daughter go down there unescorted for spring break as those are exactly the type of people scumbags target. Young kids with limited life experience who are maybe a little intoxicated and a little too adventurous for their own good.

The full autos are coming from China: US guns are expensive compared to the cheap knock-offs from overseas. Those guns that aren't being sold off by the soldiers and police in Mexico, that is...

People just don't get how cheap arms are on the black market and how quick the delivery is. For $1,000 you can get a FA AK-47, a thousand or two rounds of ammo, an RPG-7 with 2-3 high explosive warheads plus dozen fragmentation grenades. Go to the US and that will get you 1-2 SA AK or AR's and a couple of thousand rounds of ammo... tops. Remembe the big old Barrett 50 cal costs more than a FA AK with ammo, an RPG-7 with warheads and hand grenades, and can be delivered faster with less scrutiny than toting a Barrett from the US as Barrett will look up the serial numbers of their rifles to find the leaks.

Sorry, but you just can't easily get FA weapons from the US unless its via DC giving you military aid overseas. And its those FA weapons with the slow influx of the heavier stuff that is doing the damage. And yet Mexico has wonderful gun control laws over its civilian population. They can't defend themselves and depend on the corrupt police to do that. Thats not working out so well. One calm man with a bolt action rifle can take out a thug with little fire control training on an AK. Calm and accuracy pay huge dividends over spray'n'pray. Ask folks in Iraq or Afghanistan about that.
