(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Confirmation: This Country HAS Gone Insane

Simply watch the video.

All I can conclude is this: keep pushing, governments. Keep pushing the good people, the decent people, the people that pay their taxes, the quiet people, the compliant people, the cooperative people, the people that cause no trouble, want to be left to themselves, the people who believe in the core fundamentals such as, say, "don't steal." People who are actually citizens of this nation.

Keep pushing, governments.

If you do, I can pretty much guarantee you're not going to enjoy the fruits of your labored pushing.

One final clue: when you lose the ability and/or support of your military and your law enforcement, you shall know: you are completely doomed.

A note to military and law enforcement oath-keeping personnel: go here.

It still leaves me speechless.

And, I want someone to explain the FOUR counts of attempted murder when there were only two people being shot at...

If this is the New Paradigm, then I can steal anything I want from you and you can't stop me unless you happen to somehow best me in a bare knuckle fight, and the bare knuckle fight is captured on video which shows me begging you to stop at least 30 or 40 times, and if I happen to be dark and you happen to be light.

Otherwise, you have no right to your property, you have no right to keep your property, you have no right to insist that I cannot take your property by force and, perhaps, that might include everything in your house to possibly include your husband, your wife, your children.

We have apparently LOST all of our rights to self defense.

If you have "an item" that isn't IN your house, you may as well give it away or decide that it belongs to someone OTHER than YOU.

Because you have NO "right" to try to KEEP it.

People? Ladies and gentlemen?

Does ANYone think this is BULLSHIT besides ME?

Here is your forum. PLEASE make your thoughts known.

Did I say it here or somewhere else?
When our system of Justice fails us, vigilantism will rear its head.
I think we are VERY, VERY close to that point now.

One of the Assistant DAs is saying the Colorado "Make My Day Law" only applies in your home, not on your property. He is wrong. This has already been settled in an other case. These people don't care - our current Governor flouted firearm laws when he was Denver DA. The Jeffco DA gets paid regardless. The 82 year old retiree can't even afford medical care. The two thieves finally were arrested. How many crimes do you think they committed after this one?

We used to hang horse thieves and there were far less horses stolen. IF we had the type of laws then that we have now, we would never have made it as a nation.

This 82 yr old man did something stupid IMO..He fired his weapon at a fleeing vehicle in a neighborhood.

I'm glad he struck the perps, I wish he'd have killed the pricks. But ricochets happen and he could have injured or killed an innocent.

Had he been charged with reckless use of a firearm I'd have understood. Being charged with 4 counts of AM, is ridiculous and typical of a justice system gone horribly wrong.

Seems to me that a certain prosecutor needs to share a prison cell with two trailer thieves. I guess non-minorities are not supposed to ever defend themselves or their property.

I agree completely, BZ, this is indeed BS.

I am stunned, just stunned.

So, basically the law expected that gentlemen to smile and wave goodbye as those scum bags drove off with his trailer?!! Is that what we are expected to do now?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel no sympathy for the idiot that got shot, serves him right.

Leticia: I myself feel no sorrow. HE was the one who purposely placed himself there.

And Bushwack is correct when he says that the man may have been more judicious in his weapon of choice. But, on the other hand, in his mind, what other choice did he have? He could no more physically intervene with young men a quarter of his age than I could declare myself King. What, in his mind, did he possess to stop them? Harsh language? Sacrcasm?

I'll wager that, to the man, EVERYthing he owns is PRECIOUS and was acquired by HARD WORK and lots of it.

But to then let these ILLEGAL MEXICANS off -- and to file attempted MURDER charges on a man who was trying to protect his property and, to his thoughts, had no other way to makes things even REMOTELY "equal" between he and them -- THAT is the abortion.

THAT is the abrogation.

WHERE has my country gone, I ask? Where has it gone when the elderly and weak truly aren't protected?

A business owner in Denton, TX caught 2 asswipes stealing his A/C from his business at 5:30AM the other day, he shot both with a shotgun... Sadly, they lived...

The Denton County Sheriff had this to say, "You just don't steal a mans A/C in Texas in the summer... "

It appears the grand jury will do a *no bill*...

I love Texas...

TF: and that occurs in the outlying districts. . .

But what REALLY happens in liberal Dallas and San Antonio. . . ?

I am glad that I am a retired old fart.
I carried "sap gloves" for almost 35 years in my career and used them effectively many, many times.
In today's world,I would advise any LEO to have their's close by at all times.
Maybe the "new centurions" don't know what I am talking about.

mrchuck: funny you should mention sap gloves. I still have a pair in a drawer from my times in the 70s.

Imagine that.

BZ, that IS the reaction from Texas LEOs, if it's dark outside, the Castle Doctrine is quite liberal in it's allowances... Only thing is, NEVER leave a hurt victim in the area of operations, dead men tell no tales..

Joe Horn in Houston comes to mind, and it was broad daylight, a story I wrote about a Hispanic bitch reporter ambushing an older business owner that shot and killed 2 burglars in his Dallas business also...

Texas is a different breed of cat when it comes to home and business owners rights, and in your car is as in your home...

God Bless Texas!

OMGosh, and they're illegal to boot!

What a terrible thing. Maybe we bloggers should get some blogburts going, contact congress, etc.

What a terrible thing for anyone, but especially for an 82 year old.
