(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Taxes and More Taxes: CBO

Mr Obama is lowering taxes every day. He tells us this every day.

He feels your pain. He knows you want jobs. Good jobs. Well-paying jobs. Starting at $50,000 a year for doing nothing, with no requisite training, education or experience.

He's already created 974,000,000 new jobs, created 179,000 new Fortune 500 companies, saved the global auto industry twice, turned water into wine, and shined your shoes while you were asleep last night.

Really?

Then why does the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) -- your CBO, Mr Obama -- indicate that taxes will "shoot up by more than 30%" between 2012 and 2014?
(CNSNews.com) - The amount of money the federal government takes out of the U.S. economy in taxes will increase by more than 30 percent between 2012 and 2014, according to the Budget and Economic Outlookpublished today by the CBO.

And why is it that the CBO also indicates actual unemployment is at 10%?
Had that portion of the decline in the labor force participation rate since 2007 that is attributable to neither the aging of the baby boomers nor the downturn in the business cycle (on the basis of the experience in previous downturns) not occurred, the unemployment rate in the fourth quarter of 2011 would have been about 1¼ percentage points higher than the actual rate of 8.7 percent" translation: CBO just admitted that the BLS numbers are bogus and real unemployment is 10%. Thank you.
And since we're on a truth kick, how about Truth In Housing:

The U.S. Census Bureau reported Tuesday that the nation's homeownership rate fell to 66% in the fourth quarter, continuing a seven-year drop from a fourth-quarter peak of 69.2% in 2004.

At the same time, U.S. home prices fell 1.3% in November from October and were 3.7% below 2010 levels, the Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller home price index indicates.

Falling homeownership — and prices — reflect the worst housing downturn since the Great Depression. And while there are signs that the housing industry's downturn may at least be nearing a bottom, the impact of the collapse will be evident for years to come, economists say.

So let's yell "hoo-rah!" once again for Mr Obama and his whirlwind "Break America In 2012" tour! So far, so good, sir!

Everything Obama has touched has turned into bull shit...

It's a shame bull shit has little value because if it did have value, Obama could pay off the deficit, end ALL taxes and take care of each and every one of us...

Fairy dust and Unicorn farts for ALL...

And still then: nothing.

Then think upon this:

There are still THOUSANDS and perhaps MILLIONS of people who WILL vote for Obama this next election.

I really, truly, don't know what to make of that, or how to interpret that.

I find myself staggered that the nation could be so potentially stupid.

Blacks.
Union Members.
Folks from Chicago, NY, L.A., SanFran.
Single Mothers and others dependent on Govt. cheese.
I'm no doubt forgetting another "Obama" constituency or two. But these folks are slaves to the system and are automatic Dem. voters.
The tick is now telling the dog what it can and cannot do.
Without an intervention, the dog will die. And the shame of it all? Starting all over may now be our only recourse.
Buy ammo.

I'm rattled when I hear someone speaking well of the Lightbringer. It' Bush's fault, they say. They are right..but..clueless hasn't improved one single problem he "inherited". He has only made things worse. Much worse.

Geez, you guys are awful tough on the "chosen" one. He has been extremely successful at obtaining his goal---trickle up poverty. He could probably have been even better at totally destroying our beloved country if he had just gotten the Republicans to cave in on his NObamacare, but nooooo, he had to spend 2 whole years getting that done. Cut the guy some slack, give him 5 more years and I promise you, HE WILL SUCCEED!!!

I was brought up believing that if you didn't have something nice to say about someone, don't say anything. How did I do? heh heh heh

That's 10% NOT counting those that quit looking... I've heard the real rate is north of 15%.

It's quite simple really, the national IQ has been substantially lowered by our socialist / progressive public school system. I am amazed by how they have managed to eradicate critical thinking skills and relevant subject matter from the curriculum in just a few short decades. These morons buy into the idea that it's the "evil capitalists" that have wrecked the economy and not the worthless individuals who covet laziness and wouldn't know what it means to have a work ethic. When one looks around at the end product, it's not very promising for those of us who love our Republic and liberty.

NFO, your statistic is probably correct when you DO factor those unemployed who have given up looking for a job similar to the one they lost, at roughly the same wage.

"The amount of money the federal government takes out of the U.S. economy in taxes..."

What a perfect way to put it. Taxes are money taken out of the economy. The lie the left tells is that taxes are additions to the economy.

At the very best, taxes are like taking a bucket of water from one end of the pool and pouring it back into the other end.

Democrat politicians (and many republican politicians) are stupid enough to expect the water level to rise as a result, even thought they spill half of it on the ground during transport.

The "stimulus" packages are full proof of that.

DMarks: first, thank you kindly for visiting, and thank you for taking the time to comment. Please return frequently. Mistakes indeed.

CMB: and I'm afraid I must agree with your analysis of American schooling. I'm finding there are more and more citizens home-schooling their children because of rote doctrines with which they disagree. And critical thinking skills? Those are the LAST things you'll find in universities these days, where tenured professors expect nothing more than they pablum they project to be spewed directly back at them -- reminding me precisely of the OWS chants one sees and hears at OWS rallies.

Tim: "At the very best, taxes are like taking a bucket of water from one end of the pool and pouring it back into the other end."

PRECISELY.

LiberalMANN:

Sorry, but my current worth is over $2.5 million. Looks like I've made some good investments over the years and kept my dollars close to the vest. But that's only on paper. And it's not fluid. And Mr Obama is doing his best to ensure that whatever I worked long and hard to earn is stricken from me. But, no, not in the near or foreseen future will I be on foodstamps. Instead, I'll be driving by tax-avoiding assholes at intersections who hold signs for cash, and don't have to declare their earnings -- in my 2011 full-sized GM Yukon Denali with heated leather seats and 17 mpg BEST. And NO, it's not a bullshit hybrid. It has the 403-hp big block V8.

And by the way: I drive this vehicle to work every day -- BY MYSELF. And sometimes I even drive in the HOV lane because I CAN.

Because, when I purchase my vehicle, I OWN IT. And when I purchase my gas, I OWN IT.

YOU, LiberalMANN, can suck up to Obaka as you wish.

I, myself, do not choose to do so.

Again, you make an excellent example of illiteracy via your public education. Check your syntax and declensions.

Liberalmann just proves the point that there is a Nanny State village that is missing one of their idiots.

Liberals miss the point that people who "have" almost always sacrifice a lot in there "building" years. I had a friend who built a landscaping business and lived in his car for two years to do it. He ate cold cuts and borrowed showers to buy the equipment he needed to have a successful business. He even postponed marriage and family to create security.

How is stealing what he worked and sacrificed to make for himself being FAIR? Who's going to give back the time he lost with his family working 12 hour days, 7 days a week? How is stealing from this guy FAIR? Every time I hear the loser n chief talk about redistribution and fairness I fight the urge to puke considering this guy never put forth the effort to run so much as a koolaid stand.

Amazing how people vilify hard work when they vilify people who have worked to create security.
