(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Fornicalia: Certifiably INSANE

Though Fornicalia's budget was due July 1st, Sacramento politicians argue about AB 606, which "creates a commission to serve the marketing interests of the blueberry industry. Another bill defines "honey" to mean the natural food product resulting from the harvest of nectar by honey bees, and a third bill adopts regulations establishing definitions and standards for 100-percent pomegranate juice."

The state ship is sinking. SINKing.

Governor Schwarzenegger thinks solving the budget crisis should be the focus:

The governor is not against condiments. The governor's not against fruits of any kind," said spokesman Aaron McLear. "But he believes we ought to be focused on solving our budget crisis first and foremost."

Demorats responded:

Senate Majority Leader Dean Florez (D-Fresno) called Governor Schwarzenegger's criticism "childish" and said he is fed up.

"The fact that he doesn't understand these things worries me," he added.

The state ship is sinking. SINKing.

And the Demorats worry not about the rents in the hull nor the gushing water, but polishing the doorknobs of the staterooms.

This is insanity.

You gotta governor who is a RINO and a legislature that is stuck in Kindergarten. What else can you expect. I expected much more of Arnie.

Cali's answer is simple/ STOP ALL PAYMENTS to ILLEGALS. Stop welfare, food stamps, unemployment, medical and school. Then send them back where they came from.

Shoprat: we all did. But he got his ass completely WAXED by the Demorats in 2005, where damned near EVERY proposition in his special election (including a MANDATORY balanced budget yearly) got shot down, not just ugly, but in flames. After that, he wasn't much interested in fighting.

TF: I KNEW someone would get that.

WMD: and I would further suggest: that's a good START. . .

California is a patch of dirt, it doesn't vote or speak or live.

Are you talking about the people who run California?

California, I love it and I'm not going anywhere.

Many Californians speak out agaisn't the state as though the state is alive. I say, Why would anybody spend their life in a state they don't like?

I just don't understand. How many times have you and I told people, America Love it or Leave it. Same goes for California, Love it or Leave it.

No big deal!

California politicians, for the most part, don't seem to recognize the actual condition of the state's economy.

I call it "Cslifornia Dreaming." Heh.

I guess that it's just easier to enjoy the natural beauty of the state rather than to address the fact that the state is BROKE and issuing IOU's.

Here's one interesting aspect:

"Vendors and contractors holding IOUs could potentially use them to pay state taxes, fees and liens under a bill passed by a state Assembly committee Tuesday. The bill would require the state to accept its own IOUs in lieu of money owed the government."

Okay, I really don't want to be one of the tin hat wearing kinda guys, but I will make a couple of casual observations:

- It is believed that the Bilderberg group is directing us towards a banking holiday this fall

- Ron Paul's bill to audit the Fed is getting a fair bit of support

- California appears to be in effect creating its own currency

- Banks are still failing, even in the stronger states such as Texas

- It is also believed some of the elite and people in power would like to see a single North American or world currency.

It's sad to see a great state like "fornicalia" slide into the sea...but it will create a new activity for Vegas: Surfing!

I bet conservative Californians are hoping like hell that Arnold will disappear and won't "be back".

This is getting fun to watch BZ, kind of like setting some chairs and getting a cooler full of beer and sitting next to the train tracks, waiting for wreck...That's what I'm doing man. I've got about all the "Self Defense" and "Survival" gear I can have without drawing unwanted attention...We're about as ready for all hell to break loose as can be. IT's coming as we had predicted oh about 9 months ago.

Ya know, Robert, I've kinda done the same thing. I could, if the fecal material struck the fan blades, simply retire, go up the hill to 4,000-feet, and watch the riots and clouds of smoke forming over Sacramento, pour myself a Grey Goose or Kessler & Squirt and sit with my Armalites, Unertl-scoped Remington, various other toys and barbeque some ribs. Wanna come over?

Larry: but the question: WHO's waiting in the wings to replace Ah-nuld? Hell, it could be -- cymbal crash -- KAREN BASS! our good friend.

Lone Rider: well, in summary, we really ARE in for the "ride" of our veritable lives.

This is just my opinion and in no way is it intended to downplay your post.

Here’s the way I deal with it……………….

The good things in life always cost a little more. Living in California with all its wonders and beauty is a good thing to me and it cost a little more to live here.

Tell me what I owe and I’ll gladly pay it, I don’t have time to worry about it.

BZ Please, Just get out while you still can!!! The State is heading down the crapper!! They have totally lost what remains of whatever brains the liposuction left behind down there!! They treat the average Cigarette smoker like a criminal but they want to legalize Marijuanna? They want war crime charges against Bush but a "Celebrity" can commit rapes, beatings and Murder and get away?
They shut down an entire city in the midst of a budget crisis for security puropses for the adoration of a drug addicted pedophile? And they give away health care, welfare, education and the kitchen sink to illegals who dont pay taxes while millions of Calfornia citizens are unemployed and suffering under an enormous tax burden to support this circus?
I am positive that both Alaska Steve and I will offer you and your family "Sanctuary" in Alaska when the shit hits the fan down there!!!
Sorry I have not been on much! Between my sisters visit, the Pollock "B" Season, Getting ready for the "Longliners" to start, Cruise ships, The Japanese resarch Vessels, The private yaughts, City Council and the Conventions and Visitors Bureau I have barely have enough hours in the day.....even with the sun being up till midnight!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I might have some interestng news about a contest I know Alaska Steve and I would love to have you win!!

You know a bit of me, and I know a bit of you. This one:

"The good things in life always cost a little more. Living in California with all its wonders and beauty is a good thing to me and it cost a little more to live here."

Actually made me tearful.

My wife and I are at the family home in Tahoma at least two or three times a year. A grand old lakefront Tahoe manor that my great-grand father built. The next time we come up I'm letting you know, you and yours can join us or we can meet in Truckee or Donner or further down the pass.

What ever we decide, we'll make sure we get together.

It would be a great time that's for sure and we can talk about what a great place California really is.
