Bloviating Zeppelin: Ron Paul Pisses Off Ronulans

Bloviating Zeppelin

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Ron Paul Pisses Off Ronulans

Ron Paul, in a new ad, says: "no more anchor babies."

In a surprise move, the strict constitutionalist has taken aim at the 14th Amendment as part of a proposal to control growing illegal immigration. U.S. Rep. Paul, R-Texas, proposes repealing the provision that gives automatic citizenship to children born in the U.S., even if their parents enter the country illegally.

Uh-oh. I smell trouble in the Tinfoil Hat Squadrons.

No, not 'better', he's looking more desperate as he panders towards a more mainstream voting block...

He should have ran with the Democrats, BZ. He would have fit in much better.

If anyone had said this besides Ron Paul they would have been looked at by all of us as, finally someone is speaking our language.

One problem, no one has said it but Ron Paul.

Remember Fred Thompson voting for that Mccain-Feingold immagration bill that we all thought was a crap bill. Talk about someone who should be running with the Dem's.

Sorry but he could say he'd figured out how to poop solid gold sh*t, and I'd still loathe him.

Anyone who hangs out with Alex Jones, and has "Paultards" as fans is out for me.

He had one picture taken. How many pictures does Bush have with the leader of the people that killed 3000 American?

I'm not saying vote for him, I'm saying look at him once again.

Look at all the candidates again and again and again.

I've looked at all the candidates WAY TOO MANY TIMES! I don't see a worthy one left, I see some I'd settle for and Ron Paul isn't one of them.

Pipe dreams are easy, quoting the constitution for EVERY THING is easy..
Pulling our troops out of Korea, NOT WISE... solving the Korean war WISE, pulling our troops out of Iraq NOW, not wise, pulling them home gradually when we can without total genocide occuring WISE, Removing entitlements WISE, cutting ALL social programs NOT WISE.
There are many things I like about Paul, the Border issue is one of them but ALL Republicans say they will fix it.

Ranando you can support who ever you want, I will be voting for who I feel is right for our nation and if no one fits that bill I'll abstain or write in or vote Indy (As long as Paul is not INDY)

If someone threatens your family would you ignore them and turn your back on them?

howabout when someone threatens your country?

Pauls foreign policy would work fine in fairytale land, but hiding under your desk will not work well in this world today, there are threats out there, and ignoring them will not make them go away.

I never said I supported Paul, I just said I liked what he said on this issue.

As far as Korea...

I feel our borders are far more important than the Korean borders. I feel the safety of Americans is far more important than the safety of Koreans or any other people on this Earth.

That's just my opinion.

Ranando, you are absolutely right about that, but tell me the only reason we don't have troops on our southern border is because of Iraq or Korea.
THAT'S not the reason, the reason is our Business first politicians that feel our economy is tied to cheap labor.

The president no matter who it is can't put our troops on the southern border without congressional approval, and as long as demorats and RINO's occupy that space it will not happen.

Here's an interesting article called "Ron Paul and the Ron Paul you don't Know" if anyone cares to read it...

http://news.whrwfm.org/?q=node/86

The one thing I find that is extremely disturbing besides his screwed up foreign policy position and a few others, is the issue with the separation of church and state...

Paul has historically favored strong ties between the two.

That would NOT be good for this country at ALL.

If his leftard supporters, that have jumped on his bandwagon because of his anti-war position knew everything about him they'd bail, and very quickly. Along with many others that are clueless.

Amazing how people coming here illegally become within the 'jurisdiction' of the US... they have performed an illegal act against this Nation's laws thereby flouting the 'jurisdiction' of the Nation. By being citizens of another Nation and not seeking the legal means of entry they have broken the very sovereignty of National jurisdiction. We are well within our rights, as a Nation, to send them back to the originating 'jurisdiction' which is *not* that of our Nation and let other Nations figure out what to do with them.

The States can very well say that within their 'jurisdiction' those born here must be here legally, under the Laws of the Land and that to be a citizen of their state by birth a baby must have one parent who is a citizen or have a naturalized immigrant as a parent. Not only have the courts stood on poor ground but the States are *not* calling them on it. That is why the system of the US is a *federal* system in the form of a *republic*.

An amendment to remove the last vestiges of slavery is being 'repurposed' by the Left to remove all requirements for citizenship. If we had a two party system that *mattered* and did *not* seek the route of National government for all things, this could be addressed and the National government held to account by the States. Not that you will hear that from a Ronulan or Republican: these concepts escape them these days and they have bought into the Leftist idea of National government first, instead of the system of checks and balances envisioned and placed in the Constitution between the National, States and the People. That would require actually wanting to have robust and local parties at the local level... you know, 'representative democracy' where individuals actually represent you beyond the local level.

We don't have that in America anymore, apparently.

Without that you don't have representative democracy.

And, soon, no democracy at all.
