(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Sac UFO Con & Summit:

On June 16th and 17th -- just two weekends ago -- I attended the SACUFOCON and Paranormal Summit, hosted by Strange Lights Publishing, held at the Crown Plaza Hotel near Madison Avenue and I-80.

That may explain why I lagged behind in my posting. I was otherwise, so to speak, occupado.

Though I've not much written about the topic, I believe that We Are Not Alone in the universe.

For those who've not considered the issue, I posit: the universe is wide and ever-expanding. It exists in infinity. Most if not all of us have a difficult if not impossible time grasping the meaning of the word itself: infinity.

Because there is not a Great Expanse and suddenly -- a brick wall. If so: then what exists beyond that so-called brick wall?

I also believe that there is much in this world (and perhaps others) that defies description and remains unexplained.

As a result, I cannot denigrate those who attempt to seek answers to many questions posed on any number of levels, ranging from theocratic to scientific.

And all points in between.

My wife has always been more receptive to these thoughts and ideas than me. With this weekend having passed, I find myself asking more questions than I have easy answers.

At this summit, I was provided with a wide range of differing thoughts and philosophies and suggestions and suppositions.

It was up to the individual to draw their own conclusions or -- more importantly -- to begin their own exciting adventures into potential personal investigations.

Because:

Admit it. We don't talk about many of the strange things we've seen or experienced in our lives. Because we don't want people to think we're unhinged. We keep some of our experiences very close to our personal vests. Sometimes it's best to classify those things as "adjunct" and just move on.

But I'll bet this: each and every one of us have encountered events in our lives that we couldn't explain and that we didn't or won't reveal. Because we cannot readily explain them.

Count me there.

My wife, however, is the proverbial Open Book. She not only believes but, in a way, welcomes.

Me? Admittedly, not so much.

Until I was in San Diego at my brother's home in Coronado in the very late 80s. At night, I watched a series of lights, mostly to the southwest, with my naked eye, moving together in a group. The problem as discerned was this: they did not move in any kind of a ballistic motion. They moved in a very staccato fashion and at 90-degree angles within a few seconds. At quite some distance. Rapidly. Then they split and disappeared in an outward radial movement.

This was in the mid-80s.

I kept this in my brain Tickler File.

Fast forward to Now.

We Are Not Alone. I am convinced of this, absolutely, positively.

My wife and I met a number of persons from this summit, but we somehow gravitated towards Jeffrey Gonzalez of the Sanger Paranormal Society. He sat with us at breakfast and regaled many tales at our table.

The predominant bulk of the speakers and hosts coagulated only upon themselves at other tables. Mr Gonzalez sat squarely at a table consisting of a series of "unknowns." And he impressed me with that.

And, whilst listening to the Sunday 7pm streaming video of the SPS wherein Mr Gonzalez interviewed Kerry Cassidy, I chanced to meet Allen -- the astute and knowledgeable TechnoGuy with PSP.

We exchanged some personal histories.

Please check out the photos above: Jeffrey's website and the Sanger Paranormal Society. He exists in Fresno, and this was my wife's hometown.

I should care to suggest: the SPS hosts a LIVE streaming event every Sunday at 7 pm.

Thanks to Jeffrey and Allen, we can all find ourselves on the cusp of cutting-edge paranormal activity and techno information week-to-week.

BZ

PS:

A Case In Summary, to Anthony Sanchez in re the First Paranormal Summit:

- The Crown Plaza Motel was a brilliant choice; every -- and I mean EVERY -- employee I encountered was kind, courteous, solicitous. The rooms they provided were appropriate and clean. When the outside temperatures reached 108-degrees, their auditorium -- for YOU -- kicked down to 70 degrees. That's a MAJOR concession to your audience. I have nothing but good to say about the Crown Plaza and its employees!

I however, suggest:

  • - Remove the side tables on the dais. Those tables weren't used until the final panels. They kept people from having a clear view of the speakers and screen.
  • - Play your PPTs and videos prior to their revelation. Ensure your technology works.
  • - If you have people who pay $200 per ticket --like me and my wife -- then I might suggest your speakers and hosts spread themselves around the tables for the VIP/Level III dinner. I understand that your speakers and hosts feel more comfortable around themselves, but it would have been enjoyable to meet more of the featured personalities.

On that vein, I thank Mel Febregas for keeping the Summit on track. Much appreciated.

To Anthony Sanchez: your first attempt was quite impressive.

You could make it even more impressive next year.

It's all about scheduling and organization and techno realization.

The incredibly professional PSP broadcast with Jeffrey and Allen:

SPS broadcasts live via internet streaming with Jeffrey Gonzalez and co-host Allen!

ObamaKare is NOT a tax

Except when it is a tax -- as ruled by SCOTUS.

You can't have it both ways.

Unless you're SCOTUS. Or unless you're the Obama Administration. PDF is here.

1. It is a tax increase;
2. You are taking over every sector of the economy.

But, of course, let us not forget the most important part of ObakaKare for those of us who have been paying into the HCS for, literally, decades:

Rationing and Death Panels a Go-Go, here we come!

Wow. Can't wait to get old.

P.S.
Meet the New Boss.

Same as the Old Boss.

DECISION OUT: ObamaKare generally UPHELD

Now the talking heads are reading it, in order to make a proper interpretation.

The decision is lengthy and complicated.

In part:

  • - The healthcare law is generally upheld.
  • - It can be upheld under the court's taxing authority.
  • - The mandate cannot be upheld under the Commerce Clause.
  • - The penalty -- tax -- at this point appears to be intact.
  • - The opinion was written by Chief Justice Roberts.
There will be more as the day goes on.

Now according to SCOTUS, you have to 1) Die, 2) Pay taxes and 3) Have health insurance.

God help us all.

BZ

Waiting

For the make-or-break SCOTUS decision of, likely, the past thirty years.

On par with Brown v Board of Education. Roe v Wade.

We as Conservatives will be broken, or we will be -- at least -- partially vindicated.

It's that important.

Usernames and Passwords

[Sorry: Politics kicked aside for today. -BZ]

I think I'm done.

No; I know I'm done.

Everything, everywhere, requires a "username" and a "password."

Everyone and everything, from grocery stores to bookstores, additionally, want you to sign up for their individual "cards." I don't have a key-ring or a wallet large enough. Nor am I going to get one.

I'm done. No more information or cards or usernames or passwords unless I ABSOLUTELY have to have one, say, for my credit card provider. And I blast RADIO SHACK for starting this bullshit. Even when paying cash, years ago, they would require a phone number or a zip code. Which is why I STOPPED purchasing ANYthing at RADIO SHACK.

I'm done with, for starters, blogs that require a username and password. If I don't already read you and already have one of those with you, then I'm deleting you in my The Usual Suspects blogroll. I'm just done.

I'm not just at "threshold" -- I'm beyond threshold.

I'm username'd and password'd and card'd OUT.

And -- of course -- you absolutely cannot use the same username or password from one site or blip or blog from one to another or you're going straight to Hell. Because, naturally, the sites simply won't let you do that. Here is essentially what each and every site would want for your password:

845JNVNMVBP-Q989IEHYFN VHkevnqp-8oenbn v-p84jmkbmqw-89e4nngv0q87njl.b-7NVH679039W3Ghvpq8vnn8884

Some sites might even think this a "weak" password.

So go ahead. Try to remember that crap.

I reflect my philosophy on my own blog.

Trolls make me, now and then, go on and off Comment Moderation. But, because I HATE word verification, you won't see me forcing you to trudge through that inane bullshit.

So, to those of you whom I've deleted or to whom I will no longer read and/or comment: sorry. But life is already too terribly complicated for me. If I can't figure your site or comments out in five seconds, I'm gone. I don't have that many years left. No one's site is worth my frustration. I'm just a: curmudgeon. Admitted.

I've actually gotten to the point where I have to carry a small notebook around with me which is alphabetically tabbed and contains NOTHING but usernames, passwords, addresses, URLs and phone numbers of the essential agencies and sites in my life.

Finally:

How do YOU handle all this burgeoning username and password garbage? How do you frigging COPE?

Or do you even try anymore?

I'm at my wit's end. What about you?

SCOTUS rules on Arizona: 3 of 4 key immigration points struck down

With Justice Elena Kagan recusing herself, SCOTUS delivered a 5-to-3 ruling in re Arizona's SB 1070 -- as in Arizona v United States.

The provision requiring police to conduct immigration checks on those they arrest or stop for questioning -- and they suspect as illegal -- was upheld. From the Jurist.org:

Four specific provisions of the law were at issue: Section 2(B), which requires police officers to check the immigration status of anyone whom they arrest and allows police to stop and arrest anyone whom they believe to be an illegal immigrant; Section 3, which makes it a crime for someone even to be in the state without valid immigration papers; Section 5(C), which makes it a crime to apply for or hold a job in Arizona without proper papers; and Section 6, which gives a police officer the power to arrest an individual, without a warrant, whom the officer believes has committed a crime that could cause him or her to be deported, no matter where the crime may have occurred.

Everything else: struck down. Essentially the SCOTUS indicated that illegal immigration enforcement falls within the scope of federal authority only. The states must step aside and shut up.

In my opinion, this is merely one branch of the Fed, the Judicial [Executive, Legislative, Judicial], simply standing up for itself and the other two. In my view, to be expected.

Which is good if your version of the federal government believes in enforcing laws extant. Bad if your federal government involves Mr Obama.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer crowed about the ruling in a positive fashion. I submit: she couldn't be more wrong. Immigrant-rights advocates cried foul. They couldn't be more wrong either.

Because, as a direct result of this ruling, Janet Napolitano declared immediately:

Homeland Security Suspends Immigration Enforcement Program For Arizona Officers

The Department of Homeland Security is suspending the program it uses to deputize local, county and state law enforcement officers in Arizona so they can double up as immigration agents.

The move affects only Arizona and it was made in direct reaction to the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on Monday regarding Arizona’s controversial immigration laws.

But with Homeland Security’s suspension of the program — called 287(g) from its section in immigration law — no future officers in Arizona will be given the training to arrest immigrants solely on their immigration status.

You'll enjoy this. Further:
Homeland Security would not comment on the record. An official on background indicated that ICE agents in Arizona have been instructed not to respond for calls for assistance from local enforcement unless the person in question is a convicted criminal, was just caught crossing the border illegally or is a repeat illegal border crosser.

Not only will no more officers be trained in Arizona, but already existing agreements with state law enforcement agencies were also nixed, according to the Homeland Security official.

Because I'm a "bottom line" kind of individual, what did this ruling actually do, and what does it mean?

It means that Arizona peace officers can, for example, stop vehicles and inquire into immigration legality. But, once a potential illegal Mexican or otherwise is found, it can do nothing further.

Because the federal government has decided to ignore Arizona and its MOUs or JPAs.

It has kicked Arizona to the curb. It is now refusing to acknowledge Arizona or its ability to bring illegals to light. It is refusing to deal with illegals unearthed by Arizona.

The federal government, in a nutshell, is refusing to enforce its own laws. It has overtly suspended immigration enforcement in Arizona. By targeting Arizona. For having the balls to challenge federal authority. And challenging the US government to enforce its own laws.

Yet, with that in mind, Maricopa County (AZ) Sheriff Joe Arpaio weighs in during an interview with Fox's Neil Cavuto:

Say what you will about Joe Arpaio, he clearly has balls the size of grapefruit.

God bless you, Sheriff Arpaio. You're one of a few Actual Americans left in this country's governments.

Muslim Brotherhood elected in Egypt: Mr Obama congratulates.

Mr Obama "congratulates" Egypt on having a member of the Muslim Brotherhood elected as president?

Mr Obama just isn't "tone deaf" as some minions might say. I'll write what needs to be said: he is ignorant, naive, uninformed, or a Muslim sympathizer himself. And Islam, as practiced -- primarily in the Middle East -- is a religion of and for barbarians, the tribal, the superstitious. It preys on the ignorant. It is a Death Cult. I say: "Islam is as Islam does."

Even the UK is beginning to come to grips with its handling of Islam and women. Of its fear of being labeled racist and religionist. Of turning its governmental head as women are sold as chattel in forced marriages, raped. Where women are genitally mutilated, removed from school, their rights trampled by Sharia tribunals -- all male Muslims. This is already happening in Britain and has for some time. But whites historically say nothing, for fear of Islam, on behalf of cowardice, "feelings," and the GOWP-PC mindset. Only now are things even beginning to change.

That said, "Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsi" won Egypt's presidential election.

His election is described as "Islamist joy." From the article:

Businessman Maged Abdel Wadud, 45, who had gathered with others at a hotel hoping to greet a victorious Shafik said: "This is a very bad day for Egypt.

"I am so, so upset. I can't imagine this man becoming a president of Egypt. This is the beginning of the end for Egypt."

In Hamas-run Gaza, where Palestinians hope Morsy may end Cairo's cooperation with an Israeli blockade, celebratory gunfire rattled across the crowded coastal territory.

Iran, which is at odds with most Arab states, welcomed what it called an "Islamic awakening" in Egypt.

Those are called "clues," ladies and gentlemen, when Hamas and Iran endorse an individual.

So Mr Obama weighs in:
The White House congratulated Egypt's president-elect Mohamed Morsi on his victory in that country's presidential election, calling it a "milestone" in the country's transition to democracy.

Brilliant. The "democracy" thing. Of course. Egypt will get right on that.

Just like Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran and the rest of the Middle East did. Let there be no mistake: Bush was wrong. You can't force "democracy" on people who both don't want it and don't understand the concept.

What Mr Obama doesn't realize: you can just chalk the Egyptian election up to the continuation of religious repression and death nationally and worldwide.

Mr Obama, you incredible oaf and dupe.

BZ

P.S.
Let us not forget this little and mostly-obscured tidbit:

Mr Obama bypassed Congress and has already given $1.5 BILLION to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Does that put things a bit more into perspective for you?

The most important week for Mr Obama, EVER:

This week will "make or break" Mr Obama and his so-called legacy.

SCOTUS will rule on ObakaKare.

How do you think they will rule, and why?

Please weigh in.

Bad to be white, & racist for whites to pass out the US Constitution

A lovely little video which heralds the current temperature on most US college campuses involving Caucasoids, our founding documents and, worse yet, male Conservative Caucasoids (please read the full post here):

Anyone remember anything involving the actual history of Huey Newton -- who died in his beloved city of Oakland, Fornicalia -- on his beloved streets, shot three times in the head? Because, at the age of 47, in 1989, you have to ask yourself: Newton was shot by whom?

By an angry Conservative Caucasoid? By an aging white racist? By a conglomeration of rampaging whites? By a lone Caucasoid Gun Nut and NRA member? By a young white male college student passing out copies of the US Constitution?

Uh, no.

He was shot directly in the face three times by a 24-year-old Black Guerilla Family (one of the very first black prison gangs) member named Tyrone Robinson. Who is black. And who, in 1991, was convicted of this crime in a Fornicalia court and sentenced to 32 years in prison.

To Blair Jordon Moses, the young black man featured in the above video: you can discover this amazing information yourself. It is free. Take your US government-paid MacBook to a local hot spot. Technology is astounding. Simply type this into your browser: D O G P I L E. Click on that link. Then hit the ENTER key. You'll be amazed at what you'll find at your fingertips. If you're even more considerate, you'll have loaded Mozilla for free to enable this job.

You'll discover, for example, that Huey Newton "supported" himself through college by committing burglaries in the Berkeley Hills and Oakland environs. You'll discover that Huey Newton was a drug addict and alcoholic. No one yoked himself but himself.

You'll also discover that, unlike many of today's urban blacks, Huey Newton actually had a nuclear family, a mother and a father present in the home. Mr Walter Newton was a sharecropper and a Baptist preacher. Newton admits that his family was "close knit" and that they "never went without food and shelter."

That particular dream was killed in the 60s by liberal Demorats who began to pay black families to remove fathers from the home and from the nuclear black family itself.

The Black Panthers, co-founded by himself and Bobby Seale, became a massive "ethnocentric" -- PC CodeWordSpeak for racist -- organization in the 60s.

Newton was accused and convicted of embezzling funds from the Oakland Community School -- from BLACKS.

He later confessed to killing Oakland PD Officer John Frey in 1967 following a vehicle stop. This was shortly after Newton was released from prison for stabbing a BLACK man, Odell Lee, with a steak knife in 1964.

With this in mind, let us -- shall we? -- step into another corrosive and racist collegiate environment today: that of the University of Duluth, Minnesota -- again.

Because, after all, I can't make this stuff up. It simply writes itself.

And because, after all, it's unfair to be white.

Particularly in consideration of the FACT that Fornicalia's so-called "minority population" is now > the Caucasoid population.

From this CampusReform.org article:

The Un-Fair campaign also held a series of lectures and events on campus last semester. One included a presentation by Tim Wise, author of Dear White America. In his book, Wise confesses a "longstanding fantasy" where he turns to a man with a "God Bless the USA" button and asks him, "why can't you just get over it?"

Good question.

I'll "get over it" when I know my country is safe, it is sovereign, it is uninfluenced from corruptive external forces, its borders are secure, English is the primary language, the producers outnumber the parasites, when Western civilization is actually valued, my president doesn't seek to cut his own country off at the knees, when it values courage, guts, entrepreneurs, when it enacts tort reform, when it enacts truth in bills, when it enacts no riders, when it holds each and every politician to the precise laws drawn for the masses -- no exceptions. When EACH side of the aisle is limited to a cap of $100 contributions for political purposes both individually and corporate. When it won't bail out banks or corporations and allows Capitalism to actually function UNIMPEDED.

When there is an actual free market economy.

And where people who don't produce are cast aside. Where people who have UOY KCUF tattooed on their foreheads are allowed to wither and die. Where those who commit crimes are held to account. When people finally realize the American Dream provides opportunity -- but it NEVER guaranteed results.

And when people and courts -- let me write this again: COURTS -- finally realize: budgets are FINITE.

I'm sorry, but the more people tend to push, the more I tend to push back. When people talk or write "equality" they somehow predominantly or conveniently forget the actual meaning of the word.

Harkening me back to the key sentence of George Orwell's novel.

Proving, once again, like Monty Python, the British can sometimes be accurate, horribly insightful and brain-glazingly funny. Sometimes in a concomitant "all at once" manner of turbulence.

I wonder what my nieces and nephew are thinking now.

They're white.

Damn their privileged asses.

They simply need to fail. Pure and simple. And to atone.

Fast & Furious: Mr Obama asserts "Executive Privilege" to keep pertinent documents secret

“Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.”
-Barack Hussein Obama, Inauguration, 2009

Mr Obama rolled out Executive Privilege on Wednesday in order to clot and stop the investigation into Fast & Furious, plain and simple. To save the ass of his attorney general, Eric Holder.
June 20 (Bloomberg) -- The Obama administration told a U.S. House panel that the president is asserting executive privilege and refusing to turn over documents sought by lawmakers related to a U.S. law enforcement gun operation.

Mr Obama is not only "disinterested" in discovering the truth involving Fast & Furious, he is purposely obstructing the investigation with his assertion of EP regarding documents.

“Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.”
-Barack Hussein Obama, Inauguration, 2009

Mr Obama's having done this may equate to his own "Watergate." Where no one died. But, as you may recall, John Mitchell (Nixon's Attorney General) did go to jail for contempt.

Eric Holder is hiding the facts. Mr Obama is hiding the facts. Purposely. I suggest: what's "good" for Mitchell is "good" for Holder. And on up.

“Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.”
-Barack Hussein Obama, Inauguration, 2009

Watergate, where no one died, is opposed to Fast & Furious, where F&F-involved guns killed USBP Agent Brian Terry. And an unknown number of Mexican nationals on their own sovereign soil. That "body count" is yet to be determined.

Because, after all, the DOJ is having such a spectacular time prosecuting horribly serious crimes involving John Edwards and Roger Clemons. Yes?

Let's go back for a moment:

Court records were already sealed by the Obaka Administration in 2011:
The Obama Administration has abruptly sealed court records containing alarming details of how Mexican drug smugglers murdered a U.S. Border patrol agent with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico.

This means information will now be kept from the public as well as the media. Could this be a cover-up on the part of the “most transparent” administration in history? After all, the rifle used to kill the federal agent (Brian Terry) last December in Arizona’s Peck Canyon was part of the now infamous Operation Fast and Furious. Conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the disastrous scheme allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels.

The DEA already laundered cash for Mexican drug cartels post-F&F.

The death and coverups started here.

CBS started coverage here.

July 2010 memo here.

"Tricky case" e-mail here.

And here, Mr Obama himself tells CNN's Larry King that Executive Privilege is an unacceptable reason to shield the facts from Congress.

Oddly enough, Eric Holder himself -- in perfect keeping with Mr Obama's insistence that former President George Bush is responsible for everything -- walked that claim back earlier this month. Perhaps GW Bush was not involved in F&F? Perhaps only Mr Obama and Mr Holder. Amazing that, yes?
In a second major retraction over its version of the the gun-walking scandal, the Justice Department has retracted Attorney General Eric Holder's charge in a hearing last week that his Bush administration predecessor had been briefed on the affair.

House Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor released:
Despite being given multiple opportunities to provide the documents necessary for Congress’ investigation into Fast and Furious, Attorney General Holder continues to stonewall. Today, the Administration took the extraordinary step of exerting executive privilege over documents that the Attorney General had already agreed to provide to Congress. Fast and Furious was a reckless operation that led to the death of an American border agent, and the American people deserve to know the facts to ensure that nothing like this ever happens again. While we had hoped it would not come to this, unless the Attorney General reevaluates his choice and supplies the promised documents, the House will vote to hold him in contempt next week. If, however, Attorney General Holder produces these documents prior to the scheduled vote, we will give the Oversight Committee an opportunity to review in hopes of resolving this issue.”

CNN writes:

Washington (CNN) -- Voting on strictly partisan lines, a House committee recommended Wednesday that Attorney General Eric Holder be cited for contempt of Congress for failing to turn over documents relating to the botched Fast and Furious weapons sting operation.

The vote ended an extraordinary daylong hearing that took place after President Barack Obama asserted executive privilege over some documents sought by the panel investigating Fast and Furious.

At the risk of exposing the Department of Redundancy Department:

“Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.”

Bad news for Leftists: Guns UP & Crime DOWN

Yes, once again facts get in the way of the dirty little lies, the dirty little agendas of the Leftists, Demorats, Socialist Elites, DEM/MSM, and Limousine Liberals.

From The Washington Times:

Gun-control advocates are noticeably silent when crime rates decline. Their multimillion-dollar lobbying efforts are designed to manufacture mass anxiety that every gun owner is a potential killer. The statistics show otherwise.

Last week, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that violent crime decreased 4 percent in 2011. The number of murders, rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults all went down, continuing a pattern.

“This is not a one-year anomaly, but a steady decline in the FBI’s violent-crime rates,” said Andrew Arulanandam, spokesman for the National Rifle Association. “It would be disingenuous for anyone to not credit increased self-defense laws to account for this decline.”

Mr. Arulanandam pointed out that only a handful of states had concealed-carry programs 25 years ago, when the violent-crime rate peaked. Today, 41 states either allow carrying without a permit or have “shall issue” laws that make it easy for just about any noncriminal to get a permit. Illinois and Washington, D.C., are the only places that refuse to recognize the right to bear arms. The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence did not respond to requests for comment.

If the gun grabbers were right, we’d be in the middle of a crime wave, considering how many guns are on the streets. “Firearms sales have increased substantially since right after the 2008 election,” said Bill Brassard, spokesman for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), which represents the $4 billion firearms and ammunition industry. “There was a leveling off in 2010, but now we’re seeing a surge again.”

And oddly enough -- I know you'll find this difficult to believe -- there was a run on guns directly after Mr Obama's election. Gun sales now -- with a second Obaka term potentially looming post-November -- are also escalating. To quote:
Sales usually increase this time of year with tax returns, but this year has been higher than most,” Mike Weeks, owner of Georgia Gun Store in Gainesville told FoxNews.com. “People are scared their gun rights are going to be curtailed after the election."

Weeks said his sales are up around 30 percent, and that he now sells ammo by the case.

“Usually people come in to buy three or four boxes for target practice. Now they are coming in asking what kind of deals they could get on a case,” he said.

Oddly enough, I also buy ammo by the case and not by the box. Imagine that.

Perhaps it's time for a review of the Second Amendment:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Just what Leftists don't want you to know: gun ownership in America appears to diminish crime. Imagine that. Goes back to the quote: "an armed society is a polite society."

And trust me, ladies and gentlemen, I am customarily armed. My newest hang-around friend? The Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Casull. And yes, I paid $1K for it. I am hoping, during my solo hikes, that I do not come in contact with mama bear and her cubs. Or a mountain lion. But if I do, I want to be the Boy Scout: prepared.

P.S.
Never in our history have we had a president who said so much which translated to so little. Mr Obama's voice now = that of Fran Drescher's. Or the sound of claws on a chalkboard.

Monday: Greece started PIGS-ageddon?

"The euro itself is a bloody doomsday machine."
- Mark Blythe, professor of international political economy, Brown University

Greece may have tested this theory on Sunday, when its electorate voted for a new government. Two parties appeared dominant: New Democracy and Syriza.

If New Democracy would win (it is typified as "moderate"), Greece may continue along its path of what is generally described as "austerity." This is, as you might guess, unpopular with the masses.

If Syriza would win (it is typified as "leftist"), then it was suspected Greece would kick aside the Euro and re-embrace the drachma, as it was apparently committed to rip up bailout agreements with other banks and countries. Fiscal global chaos was theorized as the primary result of this.

As it turned out on Sunday, New Democracy won the election. The so-called "moderate" party. By a short red hair.

The markets didn't tank Monday; the world didn't cease rotation on its axis.

But if you think the shite is over -- you'd be quite wrong.

From DerSpiegalOnline:

The world had been watching Sunday's elections in Greece with bated breath, worried that the outcome could precipitate a Greek exit from the euro zone. Now it looks as if the two mainstream parties that support the bailout deal with the European Union and International Monetary Fund (IMF) may be able to form a government -- but Athens isn't out of the woods yet.

According to official results from the Greek Interior Ministry, conservative New Democracy came first with 29.7 percent of the vote, giving it 129 seats, followed by the left-wing Syriza party with 26.9 percent (71 seats). The center-left Socialists (PASOK) came third with 12.3 percent (33 seats).

Here's the summary:

The bullet dodged is temporary. Ungird not thy loins.

The PIIGS -- Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain -- still have a few desultory cards left up their Euro-draining sleeves.

SCOTUS decides ObamaKare this month:

Representative Mike Rogers (R) of Lansing, Michigan (8th District) nails the Truth About ObakaKare:

He continues to submit that ObakaKare will force 114 million Americans off their current healthcare plans (the current population of the US is 314 million). He also submits that healthcare is personal -- and uses himself as a rather poignant example:

In response, I would submit this video to you in terms of Mr Obama's potential second term. No one can undercut Mr Obama more effectively than he can himself:

Here is your actual Mr Obama absent the benefit of his TelePrompter:

Additionally, this: we saw it all forty years ago. We had misguided Americans who wanted their own Free Cheese -- but not on the unprecedented level as now. As my CSUS professors used to insist in a blue book test: "contrast and compare." Ronald Reagan and his warning to this nation four decades prior -- is as valid now as then; perchance even more so.

[An aside: do we actually have gold in our Ft Knox, anyway?]

Finally, two very important observations from our good friends the Demorats:

And this startling revelation from Georgia's Demorat 4th District Representative Hank Johnson, in terms of forecasting some form of future doom:

Take this and "all of the above" into consideration as you step into a voting booth in November.

My new thoughts: Barack Hussein Obama, you are Such Toast.

Does your US Government think you're a terrorist if you believe in its founding documents?

Apparently, yes.

The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism And Response to Terrorism (START) quantifies "right wing extremism" as follows:

The extreme far right is composed of groups that believe that one's personal and/or national "way of life" is under attack and is either already lost or that the threat is imminent (for some the threat is from some specific ethnic, racial or religious group), and believe in the need to be prepared for an attack either by participating in paramilitary preparations and training or survivalism. Groups may also be fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation), anti-global, suspicious of centralized federal authority, reverent of individual liberty, and believe in conspiracy theories that involve great threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.

The START brochure, for verification of this, exists here in PDF.

I suggest a brief dissection of that above paragraph as it relates to reality and Conservatives and, of course, myself and -- I suspect -- the bulk of my readers.
  1. - Yes, I believe my traditional way of life is under attack on many fronts and angles;
  2. - Yes, the threat is imminent;
  3. - Yes, in terms of religion, I see Islam as practiced in ME the greatest threat to my nation;
  4. - Yes, I believe in the need to be prepared for some type of radical national cataclysm;
  5. - Yes, I don't believe in Globalist or Universal views;
  6. - Yes, I believe in the sovereignty of my United States of America;
  7. - Yes, the federal government has done its best to assure that it's primarily incompetent;
  8. - Yes, the federal government has done its best to indicate it couldn't care less about taxpayers;
  9. - Yes, I AM REVERENT of individual liberty!
  10. - Yes, I believe our national sovereignty is under attack from Globalists;
  11. - Yes, I witness our individual American freedoms eroded year-to-year, month-to-month;
Therefore, according to my OWN federal government, though I once swore an oath specifically to it, I am NOW a Terrorist.

Mr Obama is a Transnationalist. That is no way to defend us; that is instead provoking other nations to attack us. Mr Obama is completely over his head. Eric Holder is a liar and untrustworthy. The federal government is growing whilst, concurrently, the private sector and the state public sectors are greatly diminishing.

When the word "ideology" is utilized adjacent the word "Conservative," somehow that is perceived to be a pejorative in our national media and not so with regard to Leftists, Progressives, Demorats.

How sad that those who have sworn to uphold our foundational documents are now quantified -- by our very own federal government -- as "terrorists."

Who, now, is "us" and who is "them"?

To my federal law enforcement friends and acquaintances, and to our military personnel: are you an Oathkeeper? How far will you go? What orders will you obey or not? How scared are you? How much do you fear for your jobs if you refuse to comply?

And:

How much confidence do you have in your leadership?

To my readers: your thoughts?

Obama: What will his second term look like?

And this question posed in terms of the Demorats having a Supermajority in both the House and Senate for Mr Obama's first two years -- as well as total control of the White House during that time and now.

First and foremost, Mr Obama truly believes that the way you create jobs is to grow Government. The Private Sector doesn't provide the Equality -- with a capital E -- that Mr Obama fundamentally worships.

In Mr Obama's world, for example, those who transcend towards Art in its myriad and questionable forms should be PAID to be artists, in whatever manner they choose, on a par with those who are entrepreneurs and create businesses and jobs. No one person should be above another, and no one person should be paid or valued above another.

With the exception, of course, of Mr Obama and his political ilk.

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
-- George Orwell, the novel "Animal Farm," (1945)

Ryan Lizza's article in The New Yorker entitled THE SECOND TERM and featured on Hugh Hewitt will provide some revelations and insight. Please allow me to briefly summarize in my own words: reduction and appeasement:
Obama has an ambitious second-term agenda, which, at least in broad ways, his campaign is beginning to highlight. The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change, one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now. He also is concerned with containing nuclear proliferation. In April, 2009, in one of the most notable speeches of his Presidency, he said, in Prague, “I state clearly and with conviction America’s commitment to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons.” He conceded that the goal might not be achieved in his lifetime but promised to take “concrete steps,” including a new treaty with Russia to reduce nuclear weapons and ratification of the 1996 Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty.
Further:
Obama’s advisers say it is more likely that the President would champion an issue with greater bipartisan support, such as immigration reform. Obama has also said that he hopes to have the time and the attention to address a more robust aid agenda for developing countries than he was able to muster in his first term.

If he wins, Obama will have less than eighteen months to pass a second wave of his domestic agenda, which has been stalled since late 2010 and has no chance of moving this year. His best opportunity for a breakthrough on energy policy, immigration, or tax reform would come in 2013.

There is an argument, common on the right, that if Obama is re-elected he will pursue a more ideological, even radical, agenda because he will be unbound by the moderating influence of another election. As Dick Morris, of Fox News, put it in March, “A second term for Obama would bring on a socialist nightmare Hellscape as he moves further to the left.”

This argument is often bolstered by noting that Obama recently told the Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, that he would have “more flexibility” to pursue negotiations on missile defense “after my election.”

Ed Morrissey, of the conservative blog Hot Air, warned that the comment should cause voters “to fear an Obama second term.”
Mr Obama will face another "debt limit" and he will pull the chains completely from this so-called "limit."

Further:
But if, as seems likely, Obama will have just one chance of achieving a major piece of domestic legislation in his second term, the most promising focus, according to current and former aides, would be on immigration. “When you look at the whole second term, the biggest issue I think is fiscal soundness, which is the predicate for real economic improvement and growth,” Bill Daley, Obama’s former chief of staff, said. “And then the second big issue I see would be immigration reform.” The DREAM Act, which would legalize undocumented aliens who had come to America as children if they enrolled in college or joined the U.S. military, would be an obvious place to start.

And let's not forget SCOTUS -- wherein from one to THREE jurists could step down and demand replacement.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think you have a fairly decent grasp on the form of a second Obaka Term.

A term you have to do your best to destroy. If you care about America.

Check out this link and this link and this link. Because, with everything else, Mr Obama in a second term will have up to three SCOTUS appointments to recommend. For Life.

The US Constitution doesn't guarantee positive rights, it guarantees negative rights! Please read and familiarize yourself with the Constitution from my post here:
POSITIVE vs NEGATIVE RIGHTS:

Our current Constitution frames much of what we value in terms of what we cannot do.
- The government cannot engage in unreasonable searches and seizures
- It cannot inflict cruel and unusual punishment

And therefore, the individual has a right to NOT be subject to various items, and so forth.

By our current Constitution, it does NOT "guarantee" so-called "rights" to such things as housing, clothing, food, jobs -- rights that place upon the state to obtain the resources from other citizens to pay for them.

Let me make this abundantly clear: "RIGHTS THAT PLACE UPON THE STATE TO OBTAIN THE RESOURCES FROM OTHER CITIZENS TO PAY FOR THEM."

Leftists wish to enable a solid "privileges or immunities clause" which becomes open-ended and -- therefore -- susceptible to specific 'interpretation" by such pre-chosen federal judges!

A "logical extension" might be to allow "privileges or immunities" to create new "rights" which could "guarantee" social or economic "equality."

If the law moves this way, then your possessions, my possessions, could and would be "redistributed" as seen fit by your government.

Your "rights" will be parsed out, in dribs and drabs, by appointed berobed iconoclasts and Leftists.

This will supplant "representative" decision-making and throw decisions onto those who are appointed and -- therefore -- completely immune from accountability or responsibility.

Make no mistake: the purpose of Mr Obama's will is to impose federal overarching positives upon each and every one of us; it isn't about what may be limited; it is ALL about what might be expanded for us. Because we exist in one class: as voters who can be guilted and manipulated.

We exist as a class to be subsumed and guilted and lied to and turned upside-down to shake out each and every penny we possess.

An Obama second term?

Do your best to ensure it doesn't occur! VOTE!

Flag Raising at Sunset Beach, New Jersey: a Veteran Honors the Fallen

Marvin Hume, an 89-year-old WWII Navy veteran, raises and lowers US flags that have draped the coffins of American servicemen and women. He does this to honor our fallen soldiers, those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to this country.

Mr Hume, a Navy veteran, has been performing this ceremony on his property for the past 38 years, and does so seven days a week from Memorial Day to mid-October each year. He teaches youngsters how to fold the American flag and treat it with respect.

Marvin Hume is one of the very last of The Greatest Generation, for their numbers are now but a handful after their service in World War II.

A moment on Sunday, if you please, for The Greatest Generation and our US military forces.

Science Fiction author Ray Bradbury: dead at 91 in Los Angeles

Ray Douglas Bradbury was a science fiction author compared, frequently, to his compatriots, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C Clark and Robert Heinlein.

Though not a particular fan of Bradbury's works, I respected his vision and his perseverance and insight. He wrote 27+ novels and close to 600 short stories.

I believe that many other sci-fi authors of Bradbury's generation overshadowed him greatly. That is simply my opinion.

He died at the age of 91 in Los Angeles, as documented by the LATimes.com:

Ray Bradbury, the writer whose expansive flights of fantasy and vividly rendered space-scapes have provided the world with one of the most enduring speculative blueprints for the future, has died. He was 91.

Bradbury died Tuesday night in Los Angeles, his agent Michael Congdon confirmed. His family said in a statement that he had suffered from a long illness.

Author of more than 27 novels and story collections—most famously "The Martian Chronicles," "Fahrenheit 451," "Dandelion Wine" and "Something Wicked This Way Comes"—and more than 600 short stories, Bradbury has frequently been credited with elevating the often-maligned reputation of science fiction. Some say he singlehandedly helped to move the genre into the realm of literature.

Bradbury was not my specific "cup of tea," so to speak.

But I will always acknowledge his import in the overall narrative of science fiction, the import of his originality. Of his voice.

Ray Bradbury was born the same year of my father: 1920. He survived the Roaring 20s. He survived the Great Depression. And he brought that same toughness and insight to his printed page.

He refused to drive a car. He refused to ride in an aircraft. He wrote on a mechanical typewriter. Further, Bradbury was a noted conservative.[51]

God bless the man for his truth, his creativity, his innovation, his willingness to craft social issues into science fiction and fantasy genres.

Rest now, sir. You deserve it and you have my ultimate respect.

You blazed a path where few other American authors did so.

Fornicalia is Greece:

From Dale Franks at Questions & Observations:

Californians

The list of odd things Californians believe that are directly contradicted by observable reality is, of course, far to long to be described here. A representative sample, however, includes:

  • Maintaining a permanent class of illegal immigrants in modern-day helotage will not reduce employment among the minority citizenry. Giving them full access to state benefits and education will not strain the schools, medical system, or state budget.
  • California must have the strictest environmental, tax, and employment regulation possible. This will not result slower economic growth, or a business exodus to another state. Similarly, stringent environmental regulation for the benefit of small fish or birds, and significantly reducing the water available for irrigation, will have no effect on farming in the central valley, and, hence, agricultural prices paid by consumers.
  • It is completely possible to allow state employees to retire as young as 50, with an annual pension payment 85% of their highest salary, and fully meet our pension obligations, because the Dow will be at 24,000 by 2009, and 24,000,000 by 2099, thus making the latest round of pension increases perfectly sustainable through investment.
  • If we’re taxing California workers 10% of their income, and we have a $16 billion budget deficit, the problem is that we obviously aren’t taxing enough. We should, therefore, tax higher income earners much more, because they can never leave California and move to Arizona. Or Texas.

California is just Greece with movie stars.

Yes. Fornicalia is wantonly destroying businesses.

I agree with Mr Frank with one exception: I worked 35+ years in law enforcement, in Fornicalia, to acquire the retirement I paid for. My retirement isn't freely "paid for" by my department. What I may get, I worked for. And I predicated my retirement upon plans I signed up for 30+ years ago.

That said, Fornicalia still doesn't "get it." It's Leftist governor, Jerry Brown, doesn't "get it."

One possible shining light?

The "pushback" on Fornicalia's LOSER "bullet train."

Because, yeah, after all, I want more gangbangers from SoCal to be able to bring their violent bullshit into NorCal and into the counties that still haven't completely fallen prey to the Leftists. [Like Nevada County, Placer County, Sierra County, Glenn, Humboldt, Del Norte.] Quickly and cheaply. At a loss. Paid for, times over and again (when its admin realizes it's a fiscally failing venture) by the Fornicalia Hosts. For Parasites.

But: did I find this information in US news? Of course not! As I've submitted for quite some time: if you want to discover what's actually occurring in the world, check the UK media.

To wit -- from the UKTelegraph.com:

Buyers' remorse for California's 'bullet train to nowhere'

California voters are experiencing buyers' remorse over a $68.4 billion (£44.4 billion) high speed rail project which critics say risks becoming a "bullet train to nowhere."

Ambitious plans for a fast track linking Los Angeles and San Francisco at speeds of up to 220mph in just over two-and-a-half hours were slimly approved by 53 per cent in a statewide ballot in 2008. That allowed the state to raise $10 billion from bonds and secured an injection of $3.5 billion in stimulus money from the Obama administration. There is currently no direct train route between the two.

Construction is expected to begin later this year in the middle of California's Central Valley near Merced, a town of 80,000 people known for having one of the highest home foreclosure rates in America.

The plan calls for around 300 miles of track to be laid south from there over the next 10 years to reach the northern outskirts of Los Angeles. A northern link from the Central Valley to San Francisco would not be completed until 2028.

The project is still $54.9 billion short of what is needed, raising fears that the state will be unable to find the funds to finish later sections, and could be left with a futuristic rail line linking minor cities and farming communities.

Amid disillusion over the cost and handling of the project, voters have now turned against what was supposed to become a symbol of state pride.

Imagine that. What's left of the actually sane taxpayers in the state are beginning to question the HSR plan.

A new poll shows almost three fifths would oppose the bullet train and halt public borrowing if given another chance to vote.

Almost seven in 10 said that, if the train ever does run between Los Angeles and San Francisco, they would "never or hardly ever" use it.

Not a single person said they would use it more than once a week, and only 33 per cent said they would prefer the bullet train over a one hour plane journey or seven hour drive. The cost of a ticket, estimated at $123 each way, also put many off. Jerry Brown, California's Democrat governor, has championed the project as a way to create jobs and is backed by unions. The 74-year-old governor has been personally committed to a high speed rail link since the 1970s.

But he is trying to convince voters to spend billions on a train while at the same time proposing tax increases and austere public spending cuts, including a five per cent pay cut for state workers, to deal with a budget deficit that has ballooned to $16 billion.

Because Jerry Brown is insane.

And some of his former Leftists may actually be starting to wake up.

Greece WILL fall.

And so WILL Fornicalia.

P.S.
More pointedly, in an illustration, here is what I don't want imported to my north from LA:
