(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

IRS Enforcing ObakaKare: They'll Withhold Your Refund

Your courteous, efficient, thrifty and dependable IRS will soon become the "enforcer" of ObakaKare health plans. From USA Today:

The IRS processed more than 230 million tax returns last year, paid 127 million refunds and received about 68 million phone calls. The agency is responsible for enforcing a tax code that, at 71,000 pages, makes Anna Karenina look like a comic book.

Starting in 2014, the agency will have another task: making sure all Americans have health insurance. Under the law, Americans who can afford health insurance but refuse to buy it will face a fine of up to $695 or 2.5% of their income, whichever is higher. More than 4 million Americans could be subject to penalties of up to $1,000 by 2016 if they fail to obtain health insurance, the Congressional Budget Office said last week.

The IRS will be the enforcer — sort of.

While the IRS can impose liens or levies, seize property or seek jail time against people who don't pay taxes, it's barred from taking such actions against taxpayers who ignore the insurance mandate. In the arsenal instead: the ability to withhold refunds from taxpayers who decline to pay the penalty, IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman said this month.

They'll take your money and then, after that, they'll take your money. Again.

Fiscal Tsunami:

Whilst Americans fret over the future of American Idol and whether Tattoo'd Asshole stepped out on Sandra Bullock, The Street wrote:

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Stocks decayed throughout Tuesday's session and the Dow closed below the 11,000 mark, as investors sold off on fears of a contagion spreading throughout Europe after Standard & Poor's downgraded Greek debt to junk status [my emphasis: BZ] and docked Portugal's rating down by two notches.

Because of this, "Obaka is concerned" about Greece. When Mr Obaka lacks a decision, he is "concerned" and "monitors the situation." He is therefore simultaneously concerned and monitoring. Sleep well, sycophants.

Germany says Greece simply needs more money. More money. So easy: "more money."

Spain is similarly hit.

There is more to come.

It is building, ladies and gentlemen. You'd better believe it is building.

Spending and taxing in severe economic times never works. Never has. Never will.

Arizona's New Law: It's Already Working:

From Bloomberg.com:

April 27 (Bloomberg) -- Mexicans in Arizona should carry documentation and “act carefully” after the state passed a law requiring local police to determine the immigration status of anyone suspected of being in the country illegally, Mexico’s Foreign Ministry said.

The ministry said the warning is directed toward Mexicans living, studying or planning to travel to the southwestern U.S. state, which shares a border with northern Mexico, according to the e-mailed statement sent today. It comes as members of U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration said they have concerns about the new law and may seek to overturn it in court.

“There is an adverse political environment for migrant communities and all Mexican visitors,” Mexico’s ministry said. “It’s important to act carefully and respect the local laws.”

The Arizona law makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. without proper documentation. The state has an estimated 460,000 residents living there illegally, the seventh highest total in the country, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Opponents say it will lead to discrimination and racial profiling by law enforcement authorities.

Once again, the Leftists, DEM/MSM and Demorats purposely fail to tell you the truth with regard to illegal immigration. First thing of note: it is actually illegal. Imagine that.

Second, even at Ellis Island people were not allowed to enter this country willy-nilly and with no vetting whatsoever. Those persons found unfit were simply returned to their country of origin. There were actual screenings and screening points. People had to fill out questionnaires, were examined in terms of physical and mental fitness, checked for diseases, their financial standing noted. Today, none of this occurs on our southern border and -- despite that -- the United States is still excoriated for objecting to being forcefully boarded against her will.

You wish to examine regulations? How about those Mexico has, itself, with regard to entry on its own borders? From ng4779 on Texas Fred's:

* Foreigners are admitted into Mexico “according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress.” (Article 32)

* Immigration officials must “ensure” that “immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance” and for their dependents. (Article 34)

* Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets “the equilibrium of the national demographics,” when foreigners are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when “they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy.” (Article 37)

* The Secretary of Governance may “suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest.” (Article 38)

Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:

* Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants. (Article 73)

* A National Population Registry keeps track of “every single individual who comprises the population of the country,” and verifies each individual’s identity. (Articles 85 and 86)

* A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants (Article 87), and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number (Article 91).

Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned:

* Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned. (Article 116)

* Foreigners who sign government documents “with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses” are subject to fine and imprisonment. (Article 116)

Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:

* Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)

* Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)

* Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121). Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico — such as working with out a permit — can also be imprisoned.

Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,

* “A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally.” (Article 123)

* Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from Mexico instead of being imprisoned. (Article 125)

* Foreigners who “attempt against national sovereignty or security” will be deported. (Article 126)

Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law:

* A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison. (Article 127)

* Shipping and airline companies that bring undocumented foreigners into Mexico will be fined. (Article 132

Yes, people, it would appear that Arizona's law is actually beginning to be effective -- something the federal government is not.

Obaka: Playing Race Cards

Mr Obaka has decided to pull the Race Card out in the open:

If you're a Caucasoid you are immaterial; you are not the future Mr Obaka is looking for, as he wants "African-Americans, Latinos, and women who powered our victory in 2008 [to] stand together once again."

This, of course, on the heels of the state of Arizona deciding on its own that it will begin to enforce the very immigration laws that the federal government has purposely ignored for years. A move like that threatens Mr Obaka, the Demorats and Leftists because it could negatively impact the number of potential votes for Free Cheese, hence the Demorat Party.

And please note this: whilst, on one hand, the Obaka Administration excoriates Arizona for daring to push the federal system to enforce the laws on its own federal books -- it decides to close down a French restaurant in Pacific Beach, Fornicalia -- and then it wants to take the property on which the restaurant sits -- because it has allegedly hired illegal workers. In Fornicalia, that means Mexicans.

But let's look, for a moment, at the example the federal government wants to set with this action. The "Do As I Say, But Not As I Do" Mr Obaka speaks drivel from both sides of his mouth.

On one hand he condemns Arizona for racism. On the other hand he secretly steps up stepping down on illegal workers at their work sites. From The San Diego Union-Tribune:

The indictment is in one sense the latest example of a stepped-up effort by the Obama administration to attack illegal immigration by cracking down on the employers who hire them.

Several high-profile cases, including one in Maryland and another in Illinois, targeted restaurants, an industry that historically has been a magnet for illegal workers.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has increased its investigative audits of employers by scouring their books and employment records for evidence they were illegally hiring.

You cannot have both things at once.

Mr Obaka plays the American public as nothing more than a quivering, ignorant mass.

You, my friends, have to prove him wrong.

Come November.

We'll give the ballot box the first try.

After that. . . ?

Control Pushed UPwards To The World

Mr Bush set precedent.

And then Mr Obaka took the ball and ran, to the geometric tune of billions and trillions of dollars.

When, in truth, all we had to do as a nation was: NOTHING.

Those who would have failed, SHOULD have been allowed to fail. Every bank, every S&L, every investment group, every car company, every public or private group. Every entity deemed "too big to fail." They should have been ALLOWED to fail.

An equilibrium would have been reached, and by this time already.

We would already have been into various actual recovery modes. Instead of the false and artificial indicators held in obeisance now.

Mr Obaka now wants:

The US is preparing to pivot from domestic regulatory reform to a push for a tough new international capital regime after the weekend’s G20 and International Monetary Fund meetings glossed over differences between leading economies.

Tim Geithner, US Treasury secretary, met Mario Draghi, chairman of the Financial Stability Board, on Sunday to discuss the contours of a system that would decide the safety and profitability of banks for decades to come and could eclipse the arguments over bank taxes and regulation.

But the different positions of senior central bank and government officials from several countries expressed to the Financial Times on the sidelines of the G20 meetings in Washington suggested that a final international agreement remains a challenge.

The G20 communiqué on Friday said: “We recommitted to developing by end-2010 internationally agreed rules to improve both the quantity and quality of bank capital and to discourage excessive leverage.”

But participants said little time was spent on the issue and that officials were gearing up for a battle at the June meeting over the direction of the new standards, which would prevent banks from relying on short-term funding and disqualify some assets from counting towards core regulatory capital, the highest-quality loss-absorbing part of the capital structure.

The most important fault line runs between a bloc of countries that includes the US, the UK and Switzerland and one that includes Germany, France and Japan.

Let there be no mistake: it is all about control. Of private industry by government. As long as it exists.

Arizona Passes Illegal Immigrant Bill:

And, because this bill could potentially limit the number of new and illegal voters added to the rolls of the Demorats, Mr Obaka can't have the bill stand.

From The Washington Post:

Ariz. governor signs immigration enforcement bill

By PAUL DAVENPORT and JONATHAN J. COOPER
The Associated Press
Friday, April 23, 2010; 10:40 PM

PHOENIX -- Gov. Jan Brewer ignored criticism from President Barack Obama on Friday and signed into law a bill supporters said would take handcuffs off police in dealing with illegal immigration in Arizona, the nation's busiest gateway for human and drug smuggling from Mexico.

With hundreds of protesters outside the state Capitol shouting that the bill would lead to civil rights abuses, Brewer said critics were "overreacting" and that she wouldn't tolerate racial profiling.

"We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act," Brewer said after signing the law. "But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation."

Earlier Friday, Obama called the Arizona bill "misguided" and instructed the Justice Department to examine it to see if it's legal. He also said the federal government must enact immigration reform at the national level - or leave the door open to "irresponsibility by others."

"That includes, for example, the recent efforts in Arizona, which threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and their communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe," Obama said.

The legislation, sent to the Republican governor by the GOP-led Legislature, makes it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally. It also requires local police officers to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal immigrants; allows lawsuits against government agencies that hinder enforcement of immigration laws; and makes it illegal to hire illegal immigrants for day labor or knowingly transport them.

The law sends "a clear message that Arizona is unfriendly to undocumented aliens," said Peter Spiro, a Temple University law professor and author of the book "Beyond Citizenship: American Identity After Globalization."

Quite frankly, I think that's a message to make me swoon with joy: all of America should be unfriendly to illegal aliens. "Undocumented" is simply another in a series of PM (Politically Massaged) words whose sole purpose is to undermine the truth.

Here's the real focus of the article:

Anti-immigrant anger has swelled in the past month, after rancher Rob Krentz was found dead on his land north of Douglas, near the Mexico border. Authorities believe he was fatally shot by an illegal immigrant possibly connected to a drug smuggling cartel.

Arizona has an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants, and its harsh, remote desert serves as the corridor for the majority of illegal immigrants and drugs moving north into the U.S. from Mexico.

U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva, a Democrat, said he closed his Arizona offices at noon Friday after his staff in Yuma and Tucson were flooded with calls, some from people threatening violent acts and shouting racial slurs. He called on businesses and groups looking for convention and meeting locations to boycott Arizona.

The bill's Republican sponsor, state Rep. Russell Pearce of Mesa, said Obama and other critics of the bill were "against law enforcement, our citizens and the rule of law."

Pearce said the legislation would remove "political handcuffs" from police and help drive illegal immigrants from the state.

"Illegal is illegal," said Pearce, a driving force on the issue in Arizona. "We'll have less crime. We'll have lower taxes. We'll have safer neighborhoods. We'll have shorter lines in the emergency rooms. We'll have smaller classrooms."

Those are real words with truth behind them. Illegal does in fact mean illegal. Words have meanings and consequences. True Conservatives should use real words which have true meanings, not watered-down PM words and phrases.

Our job in America is not to do Mexico's job for itself. Our job is to our job, take care of ourselves first. America First. Americans First. It's no more complicated than that.

Mexico is proving to be a barbaric nation that wants to transfer not only its people but its burgeoning culture of violence to the north. Melanin is immaterial. If the reverse were true of, say, Canada, I would be all for a northern fence and a much large ICE presence there, supported with NG units.

Mr Obaka is about to push the final few inches of the envelope. He is on the cusp of fomenting a revolution himself. But it is not a revolution the likes of which I much believe he will enjoy either personally or politically. He clearly does not know when to stop pushing the American Taxpayer who, generally, is remarkably resilient, remarkably forthright, remarkably good.

But the American Taxpayer does have an actual limit to "change," as there appears to be a purposeful removal of "hope" by the current administration.

Our own domestic Non-Producers want their Free Cheese; this attitude has now been encouraged and supported by the Demorats to this point:

Guatemalan Vice President Rafael Estrada said the law "is a step back for those migrants who have fought" for their rights. Guatemala's Foreign Relations Department decried the measure in a statement saying "it threatens basic notions of justice."

Here is what a 13-year-old says about American laws and enforcement:

It's going to change our lives," said Emilio Almodovar, a 13-year-old American citizen from Phoenix. "We can't walk to school any more. We can't be in the streets anymore without the pigs thinking we're illegal immigrants."

Focus in on this, America:

- Migrants who have "fought for their rights"?
- Our laws threaten "basic notions of justice"?

No. What this means is that the DOOR to the FREE CHEESE is in the process of closing.

Let me make something abundantly clear:

Illegal aliens should have no rights in America. They are not citizens. We have laws on the books; we are a nation of laws. These laws already indicate that being present in America without the blessing of the nation is an illegal act. The result is deportation to the originating country. No nation can stand with open borders and still continue to function efficiently.

Those legal Americans and illegal immigrants who keep pushing for their Free Cheese, and Mr Obaka: keep pushing.

You are so not going to care for the eventual results.

Navy SEAL Exonerated:

For once, good news:

BAGHDAD (AP) - A U.S. Navy SEAL was cleared Thursday of charges he covered up the alleged beating of an Iraqi prisoner suspected of masterminding the grisly 2004 killings of four American security contractors.

This so-called "beating" revolved around:

Photographs of Abed's face and body taken in the days immediately after the alleged attack show a visible cut inside his lip but no obvious signs of bruising or injuries anywhere else.

I'd like to make this observation if I might: if the above constitutes a "beating," then I would suggest the Navy SEALS don't know how to do their jobs.

I expect my terrorists to be subject to the legal definition of "mayhem" (
"Every person who unlawfully and maliciously deprives a human being of a member of his body, or disables, disfigures, or renders it useless, or cuts or disables the tongue, or puts out an eye, or slits the nose, ear, or lip, is guilty of mayhem.") before the threshold of a "beating" is even remotely approached.

I dislike putting things in quite this term, but I can think of no other word than "pussified." Our military has been pussified, our schools have been pussified, our thoughts have been pussified, our law enforcement has been pussified, our American culture has been pussified.

With our current mindset we would have lost the Revolutionary War. We would have lost both World Wars. We would be speaking any major language other than English now.

Today, we won one for logic and testosterone.

There's nothing wrong with either item.

The Religious Left: Once AGAIN Proven Wrong -- Arctic Ice Is INCREASING

FoxNews Jesse Watters asked Al Gore three critically-important questions:

1) “What’s your reaction to the fact that the Arctic ice is actually increasing?”
2) "Are you embarrassed at all by Climategate, sir?"
3) “Do you stand to make any money from cap and trade?”

Oddly enough (the sound of hand slapping forehead), Mr Gore chose purposefully not to address the questions. He, instead, had a critical appointment to clean his fishtank -- or balance his checkbook -- or perhaps upgrade his massively energy-inefficient home.

Video below:

Glaciers are, in fact, growing around the world.

Poor Al Gore; some say he was "ambushed" in the above footage. I say: if he has The Truth and Goodness on his side, then he has but to trot out all the convenient facts available at his fingertips -- as he, of course, possesses a bevy of writers, promoters, aides at his side. Salon.com bemoans poor little Mr Gore; actually confronted and asked to answer questions he would otherwise and has historically purposely ignored. The nerve! The gall! The arrogance!

One existential blogger wrote, about this "blindside" interview:

Reality is defined by a multimedia array of interconnected and cross promoting conservative blogs, radio programs, magazines, and of course, Fox News. Whatever conflicts with that reality can be dismissed out of hand because it comes from the liberal media, and is therefore ipso facto not to be trusted. (How do you know they’re liberal? Well, they disagree with the conservative media!)

To which I reply: FoxNews is the only relative cable/TV antidote to the regular and daily lies of the American DEM/MSM. How is it that this individual suspects Leftists are, themselves, not
cross-pollinating themselves with regularity and have been doing so for years? They have been dismissive for years until -- of course -- the Right and Conservatives began to actually stand up for themselves and enabled a form of self-awareness they'd not previously possessed.

And the horror is this, much to the consternation of Leftists and Progressives: Conservatives have actually located their voices!

That, of course, cannot be tolerated and must be repressed.

Because, oddly enough, sea ice is growing at an unprecedented rate.

Time magazine lied -- NewsBusters.org pointed that out and took Time to task with facts. Despite the Britain Daily Mail reporting the facts.

Which is why I say, with many issues, if you wish to find out what's actually occurring within US borders you should consult various UK news sites because, many times, you won't find any number of "controversial" Obaka issues covered domestically. At all.

For Al Gore, the Truth may be remarkably Inconvenient.

Arctic ice is increasing.

Once again, why AGW -- Anthropogenic Global Warming (Man-created global warming) is one of the largest money-creating hoaxes of the past few centuries.

Isn't it conVENient how, when it's WARM, it's AGW and then -- when it's COLD -- it's AGW.

Our Borders: Out Of Control

The killings of law enforcement officers, in the US border states, is out of control:

Law enforcement officials from the Arizona counties hardest hit by illegal immigration say they want U.S. troops to help secure the border, to prevent the deaths of more officers at the hands of criminals who enter the country illegally.

“We’ve had numerous officers that have been killed by illegal immigrants in Arizona,” Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said Monday at a Capitol Hill news conference. “And that shouldn’t happen one time.”

Babeu said the violence in Arizona has reached “epidemic proportions” and must be stopped. “In just one patrol area, we’ve had 64 pursuits — failure to yield for an officer — in one month,” Babeu said. “That’s out of control.”

Pinal County Sheriff's Department website here.

Sheriff Paul Babeu link here.

(Reuters) - Arizona lawmakers passed a controversial immigration bill on Monday requiring police in the state that borders Mexico to determine if people are in the United States illegally, a measure critics say is open to racial profiling.

Lawmakers in the Arizona Senate voted 17 to 11 to approve the bill, widely regarded as the toughest measure yet taken by any U.S. state to curb illegal immigration.

PHOENIX -- The Arizona House on Monday voted for a provision that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for reelection.

The House voted 31-22 to add the provision to a separate bill. The measure still faces a formal vote.

It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president. Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation."

Mesa Republican Rep. Cecil Ash said he has no reason to doubt Obama's citizenship but supports the measure because it could help end doubt.

Looks to me like Arizona is plotting an independent path that other states should begin to emulate immediately.

Is America Prepared? Are Our Children?

So what does it all mean?

Very simple:

It means that we are already dooming our children to failure by valuing their esteem instead of their knowledge, overvaluing their sense of place in the world, minimizing the importance of discipline and learning -- all whilst undermining courage, sacrifice, rugged individualism, bravery, risk-taking.

Too many basketball players, drummers, flutists, painters, rappers, sloths, parasites, complainers, defeatists, poets, social workers, attorneys, philosophers, singers, celebrities -- instead of teachers, scientists, plumbers, doctors, mechanics, inventors, mathematicians, nurses, electricians, people interested in trades, people interested in hard science, people who are PRODUCERS.

This is currently a defeatist educational track for our children.

* Backers hope for Senate vote in June or July * Measure could affect states' climate control activities (Adds reaction from American Petroleum Institute) By Richard Cowan

WASHINGTON, April 15 (Reuters) - A long-awaited compromise bill to reduce U.S. emissions of carbon dioxide and other gases blamed for global warming will be unveiled by a group of senators on April 26, sources said on Thursday.

The legislative language to be sketched out in 11 days, according to government and environmental sources, is being drafted by Democratic Senator John Kerry, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and independent Senator Joseph Lieberman.

Backers of the environmental bill hope the unveiling will pave the way for the full Senate to debate and pass a measure in June or July if the compromise attracts enough support from a group of moderate Republicans and Democrats.

It's Statistically Proven: US Media Refuses To Cover TEA Parties And Shows Its Bias:

An executive summary from the Media Research Center:

The Tea Party movement launched one year ago, in response to the unprecedented expansion of government by President Barack Obama and congressional liberals, a massive increase in spending that will create economy-crushing fiscal burdens for future generations of taxpayers.

So how have the supposedly objective media covered one of the biggest political stories in recent years? MRC analysts reviewed every mention of the Tea Party on the ABC, CBS and NBC morning and evening newscasts, Sunday talk shows, and ABC’s Nightline from February 19, 2009 (when CNBC contributor Rick Santelli first suggested throwing a “Tea Party” to protest government takeovers) through March 31, 2010. Among the major findings (in part - BZ):

■ Given its demonstrated influence, network coverage of the Tea Party has been minuscule. Across all of their major programs, ABC, CBS and NBC aired a mere 61 stories or segments over a twelve month period, while another 141 items included brief references to the movement. Most of that coverage is recent; the networks virtually refused to recognize the Tea Party in 2009 (just 19 stories), with the level of coverage increasing only after Scott Brown’s election in Massachusetts.

■ Such coverage is piddling compared to that lavished on protests serving liberal objectives. The Nation of Islam’s “Million Man March” in 1995, for example, was featured in 21 evening news stories on just the night of that march — more than the Tea Party received in all of 2009. The anti-gun “Million Mom March” in 2000 was preceded by 41 broadcast network reports (morning, evening, and Sunday shows) heralding its message, including a dozen positive pre-march interviews with organizers and participants, a favor the networks never granted the Tea Party.

■ While network reporters have strained to protect left-wing causes (such as the anti-war movement) with the outrageous acts of individual protesters, they were quick to smear the entire Tea Party based on isolated reports of poor behavior. On the night of the final vote on ObamaCare in March, for example, ABC’s Diane Sawyer cast Tea Partiers as out-of-control marauders, “roaming Washington, some of them increasingly emotional, yelling slurs and epithets.” CBS’s Bob Schieffer also cast a wide net, accusing “demonstrators” of hurling “racial epithets” and “sexual slurs,” and even conjured images of civil-rights era brutality: “One lawmaker said it was like a page out of a time machine.”

A PDF version of the full report is here.

What you aren't hearing or reading is precisely what I wrote back on April 7th:

A Rasmussen poll released Monday found more Americans identify with the Tea Party groups than with President Obama.

According to the survey, 48 percent of voters said the average Tea Party activist is more aligned with their views on major issues than the president. Forty-four percent said Obama's views are closer to theirs.

Further, here's a small bit from -- oddly enough -- the New York Times:

Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public, and are no more or less afraid of falling into a lower socioeconomic class, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

Nearly 9 in 10 disapprove of the job Mr. Obama is doing over all, and about the same percentage fault his handling of major issues: health care, the economy and the federal budget deficit. Ninety-two percent believe Mr. Obama is moving the country toward socialism, an opinion shared by more than half of the general public.

Poll information can be accessed here.

In the meantime, the US State Department pisses away your tax dollars on volumes of liquor, as indicated by The Washington Times:

Last year alone, the State Department sent taxpayers tabs totaling nearly $300,000 for alcoholic beverages — about twice as much compared to the previous year, according to an analysis of spending records by The Washington Times.

Thanks, Mr Obaka. Thanks Hillary.

A Republican couple were beaten senseless and the woman had her leg broken after leaving a Southern Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans. As one person on Bobby Jindal's Facebook wrote: "If you can't beat the message, beat the messenger."

Jobless claims skyrocket again.

Foreclosure rates rocket again, the worst in the past five years.

Even George Soros indicates a market crash is coming.

One little bright spot, courtesy of cj at An Angry American (George Lopez on the Larry King show):

LOPEZ: Let me say this. Everyone is trying to build a wall. They don't know what the answer to immigration. I will give you the answer, Larry King, to immigration. If Sarah Palin wins and runs for president in 2012, I have a, on a reliable source, as the head of all the Latinos, we will voluntarily go back to Mexico if she becomes President of the United States. There it is.

Great news, George, great news! Remove all the illegal Mexican invaders.

Syria Is Giving SCUD Missiles To Hezbollah

From YahooNews:

JERUSALEM – Israeli defense officials said Wednesday they believe Hezbollah has Scud missiles that could hit all of Israel, a day after Israel's president accused Syria of supplying the Lebanese guerrillas with the weapons for the first time.

Israeli officials say the introduction of Scuds could alter the strategic balance with Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militia that battled Israel to a stalemate during a monthlong war in 2006.

President Shimon Peres, speaking in Paris, charged that Syria is playing a double game, talking about peace, while "it is delivering Scuds to Hezbollah to threaten Israel," according to a statement from his office.

And yet, at the same time, our Mr Obaka is seemingly slapping down Israel and trying to negate her ability to defend herself.

I submit this to you: the fuse is burning at both ends in the Middle East with, literally, Israel in the "middle." You cannot box a nation in like this and expect that it will not defend itself.

"Defending itself," unless you've just come back from an interstellar trip, includes the possibility of Israel utilizing battlefield or tactical nukes. And though Syria is, in itself, a Bad Player in ME politics, the background player continues to be Iran. Via Russia in linkage.

Syria says it wants peace. And yet it provides long-range SCUD -- Russian-sourced -- missiles which were shipped to Hezbollah forces inside Lebanon. The range of these missiles is roughly 435 miles. They would place Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and all points of Israel within range. The only purpose of these missiles would be to target Israel. Nowhere else.

Repeat: NOWHERE ELSE.

Further, with regard to Iran (per Reuters), Russia indicates that:

BUENOS AIRES, April 14 (Reuters) - A reactor being built by Russia at Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant is scheduled to open in August, the head of Russia's state nuclear corporation said on Wednesday.

"The launch is scheduled for August. We're on schedule," Sergei Kiriyenko told reporters in Argentina during a visit. "Bushehr doesn't threaten the regime of nonproliferation in any way. No one has any concerns about Bushehr."

Hugely important questions come to my mind:

- Why is Russia making an announcement of this nature on behalf of Iran?
- Why cannot Iran speak for itself?
- How involved is Russia in the nuclear -- or, perhaps, more appropriately -- the overall defense of Iran?
- If one engages Iran, then, is one potentially engaging Russia?

Middle Eastern radical Islamist forces continue to push the envelope, encouraged and funded by Russia.

Israel has been forcibly placed into the position where it will likely have to go "Osirak" on Iran, due to proximity and danger. And Orirak will be, comparably, a walk in the park.

If Israel engages Iran, is it potentially engaging Russia? And if Israel engages Russia, where will the United States draw its position?

I suggest this video may provide a clue, wherein Mr Obaka says: "Whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower."

"Whether we like it or not."

After my BP went 210/190, I rewrote my response to this video any number of times. As I am about to publish this, it is 6 pm on Wednesday. I am listening to trains howl uphill out my window on the original Central Pacific route. Perhaps this is a distraction or an unnecessary amount of information, but I write this in order to somewhat assuage and minimize my first responses to that quote and the accompanying video.

Ladies and gentlemen, please excuse the next few lines, if you will.

"Whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower."

Mr Obaka, I have not heard a similarly defeatist line from an actual governmental employee alleged to be in charge of any defensive posture. Ever. Period.

At this point, I completely disavow you as my president. You are now an enemy. You are an enemy to me, to my neighbors, to my friends, to those in my state, to everyone in this nation.

You do not believe in this nation. You do not believe in its inherent Good. You do not believe in its history, its strength, its courage, its sacrifice.

You desecrate the grave of my father. You spit phlegm on his grave. You make his sacrifice inconsequential. And that of hundreds and hundreds of thousands of soldiers and law enforcement officers and emergency responders who gave their lives in the name of The United States of America.

You'll never explain your sentence here. You believe you are above explanations or accountability or responsibility. You would sacrifice my nation for others. You would sacrifice the power this nation has acquired in the past 100 + years for your political and philosophically defeatist goals.

I have rewritten this post, now, a fifth time. I have deleted all the expletives I'd first penned.

You have shown your True Stripes, sir.

And you've clearly drawn lines: you and your philosophy and your administration vs the US Constitution and We The People.

You are the enemy now, sir. You are the enemy.

My holy God. I have never seen my nation struck this low.

I don't know what else to say. I am at a further loss for words.

I conclude with Israel: Obaka will step back. If nukes are involved, it will be the fault of Israel. It is in his genes.

Give Us Your Tired, Your Poor, Your Nuclear Waste

Mr Obaka offered to take the world's nuclear waste yesterday.

And already there are respondents.

Canada jumped at the offer: nuclear radwaste, here it goes -- from Canada -- and here it comes, United States:

To secure a widespread agreement, he (Mr Obaka) needs allies. Mr. Harper obliged, paving the way for what the President hopes will be a flood of other countries who will commit to sending the U.S. their huddled mass of spent enriched uranium for safe storage. "This sets an example of co-operation for others to follow," the Prime Minister said, noting Canada will also save money currently being spent on security.

But here's where the irony comes in, the bit of tongue-in-cheek.

One must naturally ask: does domestic nuclear waste go to any particular location?

Yucca Mountain, in Nevada, is being eyeballed as a repository for domestic nuclear waste storage. That happens to be right in Harry Reid territory. Darn. Imagine that.

But wait; there's more: Harry Reid objects to Nevada being tasked with the storage of national nuclear waste. Certainly, Nevada consists of one big flat-assed desert which essentially produces nothing in terms of contributing to the national foodbasket or other productive aspects.

Nevada has, historically, been all about making money for itself. Via legalized gambling and lower taxes for its residents.

I would ask: what has it managed to give back to the nation? Area 51? Las Vegas? Reno?

Yet Harry Reid objects to Nevada having to pull, now, its own weight. Yucca Mountain? No! he says. He'll do everything he can to block Yucca Mountain.

Otherwise, where is domestic radwaste stored?

Currently, without any central repository, nuclear waste generated in the U.S. is stored at or near one of the 121 facilities across the country where it is generated.

Meaning this: if you have a nuclear facility near you, that is where hundreds or thousands of pounds of deteriorating radwaste is languishing, with half-lives of up to 10,000 years.

Because there is no central repository for domestic waste. Thanks to the Demorats.

And Mr Obaka -- a Demorat -- wants to extend his divine arms to encompass the world's nuclear waste?

Where will it go?

I might submit: perhaps someplace, to start, in DC?

Spending Threatens "Social Cohesion"

Our current economic path is unsustainable.

Even if I agreed with the societal aspects of ObakaKare, amnesty for illegal Mexican invaders, CapNTax -- even if I agreed with those items I would object to their implementation for one very core and salient reason: we can't afford it.

We have expanded government to the point that we truly are on the cusp of a societal revolution -- and, of course, Mr Obaka has indicated that he already wishes to "transform" America but he fails to specifically delineate that manner of this so-called transformation and, further, what this transformation means and what it looks like.

I say: from this point on, any additional penny spent by the federal government is unsustainable.

And I suspect Mr Obaka's "transformation" involves nothing more than massive additional spending coupled with mandated societal "reforms."

It is all: UNSUSTAINABLE.

Did you happen to read the below article in the UK Telegraph? Likely not -- because, after all, if you wish to find out what's actually occurring in this country you must seek out the UK media. Your DEM/MSM will purposely tell you little should it be remotely considered deleterious or harmful to Mr Obaka or his regime of sniveling jackanapes:

The world's five biggest AAA-rated states are all at risk of soaring debt costs and will have to implement austerity plans that threaten "social cohnesion", according to a report on sovereign debt by Moody's.

"Growth alone will not resolve an increasingly complicated debt equation. Preserving debt affordability at levels consistent with AAA ratings will invariably require fiscal adjustments of a magnitude that, in some cases, will test social cohesion," said Pierre Cailleteau, the chief author.

With one large caveat: Mr Obaka envisions absolutely NO "austerity plans" whatsoever. If anything, there is nothing but more and more spending on the horizon.

Yet, I am firmly convinced that our own "social cohesion" will shortly be sorely tested by the current path of Mr Obaka. "Testing social cohesion" is a warm-n-fuzzy phrase for violence, riots and counter-revolution.

One has only but to cast an eye at Greece and its current situation. Union workers and youths have been rioting, encouraged by Left Wing elements. This is called foreshadowing, ladies and gentlemen.

Are you willing to spend time studying the issues, making yourself aware, and then conveying that information to family and friends? Will you resist the temptation to get a government handout for your community? Realize that the doctor's fight against socialized medicine is your fight. We can't socialize the doctors without socializing the patients. Recognize that government invasion of public power is eventually an assault upon your own business. If some among you fear taking a stand because you are afraid of reprisals from customers, clients, or even government, recognize that you are just feeding the crocodile hoping he'll eat you last.
- Ronald Reagan -October 27, 1964

Consequences are already beginning to occur:

Drudge indicates that "personal income drops 3.2% since Obama."

Because of the passage of ObakaKare, 60 new hospitals have been canceled.

66% of Americans believe they are already over-taxed.

Rasmussen says that "ever since the health care bill was passed, a majority of voters have wanted to repeal it."

Public servants say, always with the best of intentions, "What greater service we could render if only we had a little more money and a little more power." But the truth is that outside of its legitimate function, government does nothing as well or as economically as the private sector. - Ronald Reagan, October 27, 1964

The federal government is left with only three options. These options are immured in stone and unassailable. Mr Obaka will have to take at least one of the these three paths:

1. Cut spending
2. Raise taxes
3. Print money

I suspect there will be a massive tax pogrom, and the correlation will be to print more money which will demand inflation and, perhaps, hyper-inflation. From there a true depression may actually issue.

Fiscally, I submit that the United States are about to tank economically. I also submit that, concomitant with this, there will be -- kindly phrased -- a "challenge" to societal cohesion.

You mark my words. No one -- NO ONE -- will be talking about spending cuts. Not even some of the Republicans.

In the meantime, our Mr Obaka bows to ChiComs.

We, the US, we're wrong; everyone else is right.

Mr Obaka is forcing us down the path of fiscal unsustainability. I submit that you should be preparing for that very eventuality.

Whites: Racists All

Sammy Benoit at Yid With Lid has published what I consider to be a key and pivotal post for this week, because it begs a question that all Conservatives should not only be asking but addressing -- which at this point too many of us are ignoring.

First, watch the video:

After having done so, are there questions you may have? Is there a final question?

To me, this much is clear: SEIU Executive Vice President Gerry Hudson is not only arrogant, elitist, dangerous, massively wrong, but a racist himself and insulting to every black member of SEIU -- as he believes, like most Leftist Elitists -- that only he can do the thinking for those so-called "minority" members with "tiny minds" who possess not the capability to think for themselves but instead must be led, with babysitting and hand-holding, for "their own good."

In response I say to blacks and other minorities in SEIU: and this is the philosophy and the party -- the Demorats -- to whom you have foresworn your loyalty?

-- those whose sole purpose is to spoon-feed you pablum, pat you on the head, remove your ability to think and reason, treat you like ignorant infants, kiss your powdered asses, then expect to hold you as infants whilst tying your diapers down and refusing to allow you to expand, develop, seek your own paths and find your way?

Hudson believes you're all brain-dead little cretinous slugs good for one thing: trotting out as innocent victims when politically expedient. Not for your final benefit; oh no: but his and the coffers of the SEIU and the Political Favors bucket held by their executive staff who, after all, know so much more than their rank and file.

"So fucking rabidly racist"?

Sammy then points out, via this video, wherein SEIU International Executive Vice President, Eliseo Medina says:

We reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters. Can you imagine if we have, even the same ratio, two out of three?

If we have eight million new voters who care about ...... and will be voting. We will be creating a governing coalition for the long term, not just for an election cycle.

Medina slaps down every legal Mexican immigrant to this country, and all those lawful Mexicans who have obeyed laws, raised families, assimilated, paid taxes, taken our oaths, provided loyalty and service to our union. He minimizes and shunts aside those Americans of Mexican descent who have laid down their lives for these United States -- as though their sacrifices meant nothing. An affront, that is. An abysmal affront.

So, my dear readers, what is the final question you should be asking yourselves -- to which I alluded above?

That is this: what is the final jackplay of it all? Of "reform" and "progressivism" and "amnesty" and killing our economy?

I say: it is to acquire more voters in order to keep the Demorats in power permanently and, then, in order to control the entire country. So that there is no future chance, whatsoever, for opposing views or parties to be heard or acquire viability.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is for All The Marbles now.

This is a Takeover, my dearest readers. A revolution cloaked in Hope and Change.

I submit: a Revolution is called for shortly, in reverse.

Wherein you'll either be a sheep or a patriot.

You'll either be ground into the treads, or you'll drive the tank.

Sunday: Relax With Leon Redbone

I hope to introduce more of my readers to Leon Redbone. Inimic of many crooners and some say a parody of himself, I say this: in the 70s there wasn't a finer crooner, a finer fire-carrier than Mr Redbone of the laid back, revivalist nature of music of that time.

Accompanied in a minimalist fashion, Mr Redbone's truth and heart and style simply shines through.

When days were warm, slow, simple and honest.

Take care today, my dearest readers. Love your family. Treasure your friends.

Obaka & The World: Attempting to Intimidate Israel

I happened upon this photograph whilst scanning Drudge. Above is a photo of Mr Obaka, proxemically speaking, invading the space of Benjamin Netanyahu and utilizing the minimal space, his taller figure and the finger into the chest in order to clearly indicate Mr Obaka's superior ranking in their interaction. Were I Mr Netanyahu, I would be rather upset at the nonverbal (and likely verbal) intimidation utilized here.

Particularly in light of this Reuters article:

JERUSALEM, April 9 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cancelled a planned trip to Washington next week for President Barack Obama's 47-country nuclear security conference.

He made the decision after learning Egypt and Turkey intended to raise the issue of Israel's assumed atomic arsenal at the meeting, a senior government official said on Friday.

Israel is believed to be the only nuclear-armed power in the Middle East, but has never confirmed or denied it. It has not signed the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Netanyahu saw Obama at the White House late last month to discuss the stalled Israeli-Palestinian peace process. But they failed to see eye to eye and bilateral ties remain strained.

"The prime minister has decided to cancel his trip to Washington to attend the nuclear conference next week, after learning that some countries including Egypt and Turkey plan to say Israel must sign the NPT," the official said.

It is indeed believed that Turkey and Egypt will press for the nuclear disarmament of Israel.

Netanyahu, in his inimitable style, said:

This conference is about nuclear terrorism. And I'm not concerned that anyone will think that Israel is a terrorist regime. Everybody knows a terrorist and rogue regime when they see one, and believe me they see quite a few -- around Israel."

In my opinion the US has stabbed Israel in the back. Israel is destabilized in the Middle East only to the detriment of the world and, of course, the United States.

Further, America is defanged only to the greater detriment of the world. Mr Obaka has managed to undo roughly 60+ years of defensive and deterrent US military policy. He specifically stated that his new policy will only allow for a possible nuclear strike against such rogue nations as, for example, Iran and North Korea. All other nations, even if they utilize CBC (chemical, biological or cyber attacks) events against this country or its assets, will not suffer nuclear retaliation by the United States.

Further, Mr Obaka's policy will completely cease further research and development of any form of nuclear weapon by the United States, no matter the future revelation of aligned technologies -- and technology is always evolving and changing.

Mr Obaka's clear goal appears to be to minimize the power of this country and, at the same time, to attempt to "put her in her place" in terms of global affairs.

With regard to Israel and the United States' abilities to defend themselves, it makes little sense to reveal, in public for all your enemies to see, in detail, a responsive gameplan which removes some or all potential strategic and tactical venues. It is good, frequently, to keep your enemy in the dark.

As I asked before: do you believe the world views the US with greater respect today than, say, last year or the year before? I submit: no.

These are defeatist, appeasist strategies, plain and simple.

Milton Friedman & Equality:

Milton Friedman wrote, in "Free To Choose":

A society that puts equality -- in the sense of equality of outcome -- ahead of freedom will end up with neither equality nor freedom. The use of force to achieve equality will destroy freedom, and the force, introduced for good purposes, will end up in the hands of the people who use it to promote their own interests."

TEA Parties: THE AMERICAN MEDIA LIES!

Even, for Christ's sake, the Los Angeles Times is forced to admit:
For upwards of 12 months now members of the so-called Tea Party protest movement have been stereotyped, derogated and often dismissed by some politicians and media outlets.

They've been portrayed variously as angry fringe elements, often inarticulate, potentially violent and merely Republicans in sheep's clothing or disgruntled pockets of conservatives blindly lashing out at a left-handed President Obama and the same side of his Democratic Party finally getting its chance to drive home a liberal agenda after eight years of Republican rule and six under a centrist Bill Clinton.

Alas for stereotypes, they're convenient, often catchy. But not necessarily true.

Now, comes a pair of polls, including Gallup, that paint a revealing detailed portrait of Tea Party supporters in most ways as pretty average Americans.

A Sunday poll -- actually three national phone surveys of 1,000 registered voters -- found that 17% of all polled, or more than 500, called themselves "part of the Tea Party movement."

28% support the TEA Parties, 26% oppose.

38% are unpersuaded.

8% have no opinion.

What does that say? That there are a massive amount of persons to be persuaded by our TEA Parties, if we can "do it right"!!

Further:

Uniformly Negative Reaction to Health Bill:

Over the past year, Tea Party movement activists -- originally kindled by grass-roots opposition to the economic stimulus bill and taxpayer bailouts of homeowners -- came out strongly against the Democrats' national healthcare reform plans. That stance is evident in the latest USA Today/Gallup poll, in which 87% of Tea Party supporters -- versus 50% of all Americans -- say they consider passage of healthcare reform a bad thing.

Further, from FoxNews

Tea Partiers have been dismissed as a fringe, but two new polls suggest the conservative movement might be going mainstream.

A Rasmussen poll released Monday found more Americans identify with the Tea Party groups than with President Obama.

According to the survey, 48 percent of voters said the average Tea Party activist is more aligned with their views on major issues than the president. Forty-four percent said Obama's views are closer to theirs.

That came on top of a USA Today/Gallup poll that found more than a quarter of Americans affiliate themselves with the Tea Party movement.

The poll of 1,033 adults, conducted March 26-28, found 28 percent of people call themselves Tea Party supporters, while 26 percent call themselves opponents.

The survey also found that Tea Party supporters are not disproportionately dominated by any one demographic group. The characteristics of Tea Party supporters -- in age, education, income and race -- roughly follow the characteristics of the nation as a whole.

So. You and your neighbors think TEA Party members and advocates are The Fringe?

You couldn't be more wrong.

TEA Partiers are MAINSTREAM AMERICANS.

Have We Now Lost The Will To National Self Defense?

From the New York Times:

WASHINGTON — President Obama said Monday that he was revamping American nuclear strategy to substantially narrow the conditions under which the United States would use nuclear weapons, even in self defense [My emphasis - BZ].

Discussing his approach to nuclear security the day before formally releasing his new strategy, Mr. Obama described his policy as part of a broader effort to edge the world toward making nuclear weapons obsolete, and to create incentives for countries to give up any nuclear ambitions. To set an example, the new strategy renounces the development of any new nuclear weapons, overruling the initial position of his own defense secretary.

He (Obama) dodged when asked whether he shared Israel’s view that a “nuclear capable” Iran was as dangerous as one that actually possessed weapons.

And oddly enough, this comes on the heels of an announcement that Chavez in Venezuela has decided that it is time for him to become a nuclear power -- to be aided and abetted by Putin's Russia.

North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, -- wanting nuclear weapons now.

Russia, China -- in possession of nuclear weapons and now Wild Cards in the political nuclear landscape.

Mr Obaka still thinks that if we sit down at a table and pour ourselves a nice tea, we can work anything out.

His policy indicates that, any non-nuclear power will not be the recipient of our nukes no matter their attack on us in immediacy, be it in chemical, biological, digital or dirty nuclear in nature.

I literally question the sanity of our so-called president.

Is he so daft and thick as to not realize the True Evil exists in this world? That there is no such thing as American Exceptionalism?

Why is it that we would purposely take any responsive option off the table?

We are in the midst of a defeatist coup d'etat in Amerika.
